Cut to all the examinees running through the swamps of the milsy wetlands. So far, 36 candidates have dropped out, and 368 remain.

Leorio: "Oh great. It's another marathon." Leorio said in an annoyed tone.

Kurapika: "Except this time, we're in a swamp, and running on the wet ground requires significantly more energy." Kurapika said, breaking down how this is harder than the last marathon.

Satotz: "Now everyone, please make sure to follow close behind me." Satotz said to everyone as they start panting like dying dogs.

Y/n: "Hey Gon, Killua, Make sure you stick close to me. I'll know where Satotz is going." You said to Gon and killua, wanting to make sure they stayed alive. In all honesty, you didn't care about Leorio or Kurapika, as they didn't interest you as much as Gon and Killua did.

Killua: "Y/n, I know we're your friends and all, but you dont have to carry us through the entire exams." Killua said, not wanting to be coddled.

Gon: "Yeah! We cant take care of ourselves just fine." Gon said, also bot wanting to be coddled.

Y/n: "Alright, If thats what you want..." You said as started to run a bit faster, leaving gon and killua to do their thing.

Y/n: 'I hope they survive this.' You thought to yourself, not wanting your first-ever friends to die on you.

Kurapika: "Damn... This fog is getting even thicker as we go." Kurapika said, getting slightly worried.

Examinee 76: "Guys, here's our chance." Examinee 76 said to his group, making them turn their attention to him.

Examinee 76: "I say we take advantage of the fog and get rid of him." He finished, making everyone nod in agreement.

Killua then takes notice of this and wants to convince gon to move up to the front.

Killua: "Gon, Let's try and move up to the front." Killua said, wanting to get away from Hisoka and the group of people that want to get rid of him.

Gon: "Right. The last thing we want to do is lose sight of the Examiner right now." Gon said, agreeing with Killuas decision to move up to the front.

Killua: "I just want to put a little more distance between Hisoka and us. Staying too close is dangerous. I can smell it." Killua said, wanting to get away from the most sus person in the hunter exam.

Kurapika: "This is bad, with this fog we can't tell which way we're going." Kurapika said as the fog was getting even thicker than before.

Leorio: "It's fine. As long as we dont lose sight of the guys ahead of us." Leorio said, trying to calm nervous friend down.

As he says this, The heads of the people in front of them fall off.

Leorio: "AHH! What in the hell is going on now?!" Leorio said, starting to panic.

Leorio: "Woah, What are those?" Leorio said, referring to the floating strawberries in front of them.

And then, One stupid examinee decides it a good idea to go toward the strawberries, only to reveal that the strawberries were a giant Tortoise.

Everyone Immediately started panicking at the sight of this and starts to run away, Then the giant tortoise lunges at them and manages to catch another Examinee.

Then, 2 more Tortoises appear, which their sights locked on Leorio and Kurapika.

-Cut to Another group.-

We see a bunch of examinees running until they step on a bunch of unnoticed mushrooms. When they stepped on the mushrooms the mushrooms let out gas in the air. Making every Examinee pop out mushrooms from every part of their body.

-Cut to Another group.-

UC: "Huh? What's that?" The expendable character said, referring to the butterflies letting out mist.

When the examinees get exposed to this mist, they immediately start passing out. Though some examinees did manage to avoid it.

-Cut to Another group.-

Amori brother 1: "Damn. Which way are we supposed to go?" The one wearing blue said because I can't be bothered to remember his name.

Amori brother 2: "Did we lose sight of him?" The one wearing red said, referring to the Examiner.

As he said this, "Satotz" calls out for everyone.

"Satotz": "Now, everyone. Please make sure to follow close behind me." "Satotz," said, Making everyone in earshot run over to his voice.

Amori brother 3: "HE'S OVER THERE!" The third brother said after hearing the examiner's voice.

When they hear his voice, everyone starts cheering as they run after it, including the brothers. Then suddenly, 3 of Examinees fall off of a cliff. Making the 3 brothers stop in place.

It turns out that the voice they heard was a bird imitating Satotz's voice, called a "Ruse Raven"

-Cut to Gon and Killua.-

Gon: "I wonder what's happening. I can hear people screaming all around us." Gon said in a slightly worried tone.

Killua: "Thats why we need to be careful." Killua said.

Gon: "I haven't seen the guys or Y/n in a while. I hope they're safe." Gon said in a concerned tone.

Then, they both suddenly stop. As they fall into the ground and a giant frog-like creature devours them whole.

The frog then starts walking in another direction.

-Cut to Leorio and Kurapika.-

We cut to Leorio holding a piece of wood in the tortoise's mouth stopping it from chomping on him.

Kurapika: "Leorio!" Kurapika shouted, worried for the safety of his friend.

Then, the tortoise starts chewing on the wood even harder whilst swinging Leorio around harder.

Kurapika then jumps up super high and Jabs his bokken swords into the tortoise's eye, making it yelp in pain and letting Leorio go.

Leorio: "Ow..." Leorio said as he hit the ground hard.

Kurapika: "Leorio! Nows our chance, come on." Kurapika said as he started running away.

-Cut to Gon and Killua.-

The giant frog suddenly stops, as it drops to the ground dead from having his black sliced open. And somehow leaving Gon and Killua with only a little blood on them.

Gon: "Ewww Gross! I have blood on me!" Gon said disgustedly.

Killua: "Well, you're gonna have to deal with it. It was our only choice of escaping." Killua said as he unaugments his hand, having had to slice open the large creature because of not having some of Tonpas Orange juice on him.

Gon: "Im still pretty worried about Leorio, Y/n, and Kurapika." Gon said, not being able to forget about his friends.

Killua: "You dont need to worry about y/n, he'll be fine. Also, forget about the other two. We need to keep moving. We can still make it if we start right now." Killua said, wanting to get to the end as soon as possible.

Gon then starts to follow him, but he stops. And looks behind him for some reason.

-Cut to Leorio and kurapika.-

Kurapika: "It looks like we lost sight of the front runners." Kurapika said to Leorio.

Leorio: "Damn it. Which way should we go?" Leorio asked Kurapika, annoyed that they lost sight of the front runners.

Leorio then looks off in the distance and sees a figure, this is Hisoka. Standing in the middle of an open field for some reason.

Leorio: "Huh? Hold on." Leorio says as he stops in his tracks, making kurapika do the same.

Leorio: "Looked over there." He said while pointing toward Hisoka being surrounded by Fodder.

FC1: "You're not hunter material. I've been thinking that ever since we met last year." The expendable character said, playing examiner.

FC2: "We'll spare your life if you promise to never take the Hunter Exam again." Another expendable character said, threatening a main character.

Hisoka: "Sure, why not." Hisoka said, making them shocked.

Hisoka: "I intend to pass, so there's no need to retake it." Hisoka said, making them angry.

FC1: "Oh yeah? You Idiot, just look at this fog. Do you really think you figure out which way the main pack went in all this?" Useless character 1 said, giving up on passing this year.

FC3: "He's right. We all failed this year. No way we can catch up with everyone else." Useless Character 3 said, riding the waves of Useless Character 1.

Hisoka then laughs, and he begins to speak.

Hisoka: "Thats it then? You failed so now you want to play Examiner? Hunters require prey, So why dont I play examiner? All of you gentlemen claim to be Hunter material. Hisoka said, destroying them verbally and getting ready to destroy them physically.

Everyone: "You shut the hell up!" Everyone said while charging at Hisoka, screaming.

Hisoka then makes a circular motion with his hand, creating a mini shockwave and cutting them all down at once.

Useless Character 1 just looks on in horror, not being able to do anything. Shaking like a scared puppy.

Hisoka then turns toward him, making even scared to the point of falling on the ground. He then starts crawling away, prompting Hisoka to casually walk after him.

FC1: "Help! Help me! Help-" he then gets cut off by a card being thrown into his head, making him drop to the ground dead.

Hisoka then takes out the card and looks toward Leorio and Kurapika.

Hisoka: "Well? How about you two? Care to play Examiner?" Hisoka said, putting Kurapika and Leorio on high Alert.

-Cut to Killua.-

Killua then runs until he manages to find the main crowd.

Killua: "All right! We caught up with the main group, Gon. Look!" Killua said to Gon, Only to turn around and see that he's not there.

Killua: "Thats weird. He was right there a minute ago." Killua said, confused as to how Gon just vanished.

Killua then notices you in the crowd and runs toward you.

Killua: "Hey! Y/n!" Killua called out to you, getting your attention.

You then turn toward Killua, happy to see your friend, you call out toward him as well.

Y/n: "Yo Killua! What took you so long?" You asked Killua.

Killua: "Well I and Gon got caught in a giant toad once. We're also not ad fast as you, so we couldn't just blitz to the end in 3 seconds." Killua responded to you.

Y/n: "Speaking of gon, Where is he?" You asked.

-Cut to Hisoka.-

Hisoka then begins to walk toward Hisoka and Kurapika, making them up their guard in case of a fight.

Kurapika: "Ok Leorio, Wait for my signal, then we run in opposite directions." Kurapika said, surprising Leorio.

Leorio: "We what?!" Leorio said, surprised that Kurapika would say that.

Kurapika: "The fact of the matter is, he's far more experienced in actual combat situations. The two of us won't stand a chance against him. We're short on time, and we can't afford to waste even more on a fight we can't even win." Kurapika explained, making Leorio groan in irritation.

Kurapika and Leorio start to sweat a bit, getting more nervous the closer Hisoka gets. Hisoka then takes out a card, as he gets even closer to kurapika and leorio.

He then stops moving, seeing this as an opportunity, Kurapika gives the signal.

Kurapika: "Now, RUN!" Kurapika said as he runs to the left and Leorio runs to the right.

Hisoka: "Hm. I see. A wise decision." Hisoka says, praising Kurapika and Leorio for not trying to fight him, but then Hisoka laughs.

As Hisoka prepares to leave, he hears someone walk toward him. It was Leorio.

Leorio: "I just couldn't do it. This may not be a fight I can win, but I can't sit back and pretend nothing happened. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I did. See the thing is, " Leorio said, not wanting to run with his tail between his legs.

Kurapika: "LEORIO!" Kurapika said, worried for his friend's safety.

Leorio then charges at Hisoka, with a determined look on his face.

Hisoka: "Hm~ I adore that look~," Hisoka said, somehow managing to be a pedo to an Adult.

Leorio then continues to charge Hisoka, Stick ready to hit him. But when Leorio hits him, Hisoka suddenly vanishes behind him, preparing to grab him by his necktie, until suddenly, A red object with a hook on the end hits Hisoka. Surprising him a bit.

Leorio: "Gon!" Leorio shouted, surprised to see his friend.

Gon: "Did I make it?" Gon asked.

Hisoka: "Not bad, Little boy... Oh wait, your one of the kids that hang around y/n aren't you?" Hisoka asked, Pedo mode activated.

Gon: "What? Why does y/n have to do with this?!" Gon asked, Concerned that this guy has his sights set on you.

Hisoka: "The thing is, You and the other kid dont interest me as much as y/n does... I can tell that just by looking at him, he's the strongest one here, Even stronger than Illumi" Hisoka said, accidentally mentioning Illumi.

Gon: "You better stay away from him! Wait... Who's Illumi?" Gon said to Hisoka angrily, while also asking who Illumi was.

Hisoka: "Nevermind, pretend I didn't say that. Also, Is that a fishing pole? How original." Hisoka said, changing the subject.

Hisoka then slowly walked toward Gon. Gon immediately gets on guard, and prepares for a fight.
