We cut to the examinees entering the second part and the first phase of the Hunter exams. Which consisting of a massive foggy forest with Mud as the ground instead of Solid rock. We then see Gon introducing you and Killua to Leorio and Kurapika.

Satotz: "This place is the Milsy Wetlands, Also known as swindlers swamp. We must cross it to reach Phase two of the Hunter Exam." Satotz explained

Satotz: "This place is home to a variety of truly bizarre animals, many of which are dangerous, crafty, and voracious creatures who deceive and feast on human prey." Satotz said, making a few examinees gulp in fear.

Satotz: "SO, please, be very careful. If you're deceived, you'll surely die." Satotz said, putting everyone on edge.

Gon: "Hey Leorio, Kurapika, Meet my 2 new friends, Y/n and Killua!" Gon said in his usual cheerful tone.

Leorio: "Hey, Killua and Y/n, As my friend here said, my name is Leorio, Nice to meet you!" Leorio said as she put out his hand as You and killua shook it.

Kurapika: "And Im Kurapika, I hope we can be good friends." Kurapika said as he put out his hand, As you and killua shook it.

But when Kurapika touched your hand, He felt a massive amount of power coming from you, especially in the eyes. More power than he has ever felt in his life, It scared him.

Y/n: "Uh... Hey, You doing okay?" You asked, slightly thrown off by the fact he looks scared of you just by touching you.

Kurapika: "Uh yeah I-Im good!" Kurapika said, lying through his teeth. Gon and Killua can tell he's lying.

Y/n: "Ok..." You said while walking away a bit sad.

Gon: "Kurapika, Why'd you look scared of him? Also, why'd you lie to him?" Gon said, slightly angry at him.

Kurapika: "When I shook his hand, I felt a massive amount of power coming off of him, especially behind that blindfold. I have never anyone as strong as him in my entire life. Not even among the Kurta." Kurapika said while sweating.

Killua: "Behind the blindfold... Maybe he has some kind of ability involving his eyes? He did say that he could see through the blindfold." Killua said, taking Kurapika by surprise.

Kurapika: "See through the headband? How the hell..." Kurapika said surprised.

Leorio: "I kind of want to see what his eyes look like..." Leorio said, curious as to what you're hiding.

Gon: "I dont think we should pry answers out of him. He'll show us what he's about eventually!" Gon said to Kurapika and Leorio.

But before they could say anymore, Satotz begins to speak.

Satotz: "You cannot underestimate these wetland creatures. For they will use every trick in the book to fool their prey." Satotz said, making everyone gasp.

Satotz: "This is an Ecosystem in which all creatures hunt by the art of deception. This is why this place is known as Swindlers Swamp." Satotz explained to everyone.

Y/n: 'Deception huh? Well too bad. I can't be fooled easily.' You thought to yourself.

Satotz: "Now then, please follow me closely so you won't be deceived." Satotz said.

Leorio: "Tch. Is he messing with us? If we know they'll try and deceive us, who's gonna fall for it?" Leorio said confidently.

Right after he said that A wounded man came out from behind a wall and starting "warning" the examinees.

Man: "DONT FALL FOR IT! Dont let them fool you! He's lying. That man Is-" but before he could finish speaking, you dash toward him quicker than anyone could see and slam his face into the ground.

Y/n: "You Idiot. You made yourself so obvious. I mean even if you were a good liar I would've caught on anyway." You said while holding his face to the ground, but then something catches his attention.

Y/n: "What the hell is this?" You said as you dragged out a skinny monkey that looked like Satotz making everyone gasp in surprise.

Gon: "Woah! That looks like Mr. Satotz!" Gon said in surprise.

Leorio: "Woah, Woah, Woah y/n! How do you know that thats a fake?!" Leorio shouted, doubting your capabilities.

Hanzo: "Yeah! What makes you think that you know everything!" Hanzo said, backing up Leorio.

Y/n: "I know because I've been here before." You said bluntly, making everyone gasp in surprise.

Y/n: "Let me explain.."

-Flashback.-

We see a 6-year-old version of you walking through the Milsy Wetlands, looking for information about the weapon that killed your father.

Y/n: "Geez. Why does this place have to be so damn foggy." You groaned in frustration.

You then see a weird skinny monkey think walking toward you, intending to make you follow it. But since this animal gives off a feeling of deception, you immediately Attack it.

Y/n: "Cursed Technique Reversal: Red!" You shout as you repel the monkey away at high speeds, slamming it through several trees and killing it almost instantly.

Y/n: "Damn. It's still not good enough! I need to train harder if I want to get revenge! I might as well train here, plenty of space and animals to practice my techniques on." You said as you began to practice.

-Flashback Over.-

Leorio: "Wait... Lemme get this straight, You encountered one of those and it gave you a feeling of deception, So you killed it. And this happened when you were " Leorio said, not believing a word that you said.

Y/n: "Yeah." You responded to Leorio.

Leorio: "O-Ok. I dont believe you, but I'll take your word for it." Leorio said, trying to be cautious nu taking your word for it.

Satotz: "No, I can confirm that he's telling the truth. I dont know about the part of him being here before but I can confirm that The man-faced ape, which is what those creatures are called, does deceive people. They do this by Luring in humans by either disguising themselves as humans Or by luring those that are lost to their homes, So they can surprise attack them and eat them." Satotz explained, catching everyone by Surprise.

Y/n: "Yeah thats the gist of it. And also, If you can't detect a lie very well then you're gonna die here." You said bluntly, making Hanzo and Leorio sweatdrop.

Y/n: "Anyway, Let's start this. I wanna get out of this horrid forest already. Already been here once." You said as you walked away from the Man. Promoting tons of Animals to swoop in and eat him.

Leorio: "Geez... Nature can be cruel sometimes." Leorio said as sweating.

Hanzo: "Yeah... You can say that again." Hanzo said while Also sweating.

Satotz: "If thats all said and done, you may now follow me to the second phase!" Satotz said as he began to run, making everyone follow behind him.
