Charlotte glares at Damon and marches towards him with fury in her eyes. "Char, I know you're mad, but hear me-" he began to speak but was cut off when she punched his face making him fall to the floor.
"You piece of shit!" She was about to kick him but Jace grabbed her and pulled her back. He took her outside saying he'd try to calm her down. I helped Damon up while Jay asked Charlotte's mother for a wet rag to clean up Damon's face. He had a bloody nose.
"She still knows how to throw a punch." Damon mumbles. Liz hands him a tiny can so he can spit out any blood he had in his mouth.
"Why is she so mad about me and Damon?" I ask. Everyone goes quiet. Charlotte comes back in with Jace, who by the way now has a bloody nose as well.
"Tristan, go upstairs please. We need to talk." she begins to march upstairs when Damon starts calling her.
"Charlotte, I swear it's not what you think!" She ignores him and ascends the stairs.
"Tris, you have to believe me you're different!" he grabs my shoulders and starts reassuring me. I am so confused and afraid I don't know why everyone's freaking out. Jace grabs Damon off me and tells me to go upstairs.
"I love you, Tristan! I love you!" Damon yells as I march up the stairs. Everyone looks at him in shock. I continue up the stairs and look through each room looking for Charlotte. I finally find her in a room full of pink. Everywhere is pink.
I sit on the bed beside her and stay quiet. I've never seen her so angry and I don't want her to hit me next. "Tristan, there's something you have to know about Damon." she begins. I stay quiet.
"You already know he's an arrogant asshole, but he also is openly gay. So when he comes across someone who's still in the closet, he will give them a choice, but it is really an ultimatum." My eyes are starting to water. I have no idea what Charlotte is insinuating and I'm afraid to find out.

"He dates guys that are in the closet and gives them a choice, either come out or we're breaking up." My heart shatters as the first tear slides down my cheek.
"So, so you're saying he only dated me so I would come out?"
"He believes being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, which it isn't, and he knows coming out is hard and he knows not everyone will understand, but he just doesn't like anything related to hiding who you are."
I get up and walk out of her room and walk down the stairs. Damon approaches me but I push him away. He looks at me with so much hurt in his eyes. I look up at him with tears still streaming down my face. "It's your fault," I mutter.
"Tristan, you've got to believe me. I didn't, I-I-I wasn't trying to make you,"
"My father kicked me out because I told him I was gay, I told him for you. I didn't want us to be a secret, but it was your plan all along."
"No, no Tris, babe you've got it all wrong,"
"I don't want you to call me that anymore. Don't come near me, don't talk to me, and delete my number from your phone. I'm done, we're over."
"Tristan, I think you should hear Damon out," Lilith says. I stare at her in betrayal.
"He is the reason my father hates me! I don't want to hear anything he has to say!" Charlotte finally comes down the stairs and Damon stares at her in hatred. "I'm gonna go for a walk." I say. I don't wait for anyone to respond as I slam the door shut behind me.

"What have you done?" I yelled at Charlotte.
"Told him what he deserved to know." she said back. Jace was talking to her parents about what was going on and they went to their room, letting us handle our business.
"You told him a load of crap! I wasn't trying to make Tristan come out! I told him we'd have to stay a secret until he came out for two reasons! First, I knew you would think I was up to no good, and second I didn't give him an ultimatum. I didn't tell him we'd break up if he didn't come out. It was his choice!" Charlotte is still angry but now she's angry and confused.

"Wait, so-so you didn't tell him he needed to come out?"
"No! I knew his family was religious and when he told me he was gonna come out I told him it wasn't a good idea, but we were already at my stop so I told him to call me if anything happened! Jesus, Char, I love him!" when she heard me say I love Tristan, she gasped and clutched her fist to her heart in shock.
"You-you fell for Tristan?" she whispered while tears streamed down her face. Charlotte knows I've never fallen for anyone. Everyone always fell for me and I would break their hearts. Her knowing that she is the reason for my first heartbreak makes her feel so guilty.
"Yes, I did." I say breathlessly. I started falling for Church boy when we kissed in that club. It doesn't take an eternity to fall for someone, sometimes all it takes is a simple 'hello'.
"Whoa, I never thought I'd see the day Damon experiences heartbreak." Jay says. I glare at her as she holds her hands up in surrender.
"Well, what are we gonna do? Tristan is stubborn, he's the only one who can change his own mind." Lilith's phone dinged with a text. She told us it was from Tristan.
"What'd he say?" I asked. She gasped.
"He's, he's going to," she can't form proper words. She's in so much shock.
"What? What's he going to do?" I asked worriedly. Charlotte took the phone from Lilith and gasped. We huddled around the phone to read his text.
*would you like to be my girlfriend?*
I fell to my knees in disbelief. He doesn't actually think he can date Lilith does he?
"I can't believe it," Liz mumbles.
"He's gonna try to be straight." Charlotte says with so much guilt laced through her voice.
"He's gonna be so miserable." Jace says.
"Maybe, but we can make him see he can't choose to change." Lilith begins.
"What do you mean?" I ask with tears streaming down my face.
"He is a gay teen, trying to be straight. What do you think it'll take for him to see he can't change?" she says suggestively. We finally realize what she means but I get angry at her plan.
"What if he's too stubborn and decides to act like he's straight? This can destroy him!"
"We can't change his mind, Damon. Only he can." I close my eyes in sadness and frustration. I don't want Tristan to go through this, but if there's any chance he will see he can't choose his sexuality, I'll let them go through with it.
"Fine, but it has to take time. You can't rush it." She nods her head determinedly.
"I'll only need a week." Lilith says. I nod as she texts Tristan.

a/n: DAMON'S POV YAAYYY! I thought Damon's POV would be needed for this chapter and I was going to make it really short but then I was like 'nope it has to go like this...' so any ideas what they're talking about? And THE STORY'S ALMOST OVER OOOOOOOOOHHHHH MMMMMMYYYYYYY GGOOOOSSSSHHHH!!!! Can you believe it?
