《Colors ✔》25 | favourite pair of blues (Ace)

I stare at the girl I love. She smiles at me, her pink lips stretched out in a warm smile, one that melts my heart. Her baby blue eyes are twinkling in joy and I realize that the color of her eyes has always been my favourite.

"Stop staring at the painting, dude," Dylan calls out. I ignore him. He doesn't know how it feels.

She is never going to give me that warm smile again. So, might as well stare at the painting, the only colorful painting I have ever painted.

"You've been staring at the painting for an hour," Dylan calls out again. I sigh. It's nothing, I had spent the whole night staring at it. He doesn't know.

With a shaky breath, I leave the room, sidestepping Dylan. I get to my room and walk to the mirror.

Venus doesn't deserve me. She doesn't deserve a fucked up guy who is incapable of expressing love. All I am capable of is hurting her. The image of her tear stricken face comes flashing into my mind and rage fills inside me. I was the reason behind her tears.

I was the reason why she got hurt.

"I think I love you, Ace."

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"I think you look yummy"

giggles

I take a vase in my hand and throw it into the wall. The glass rains on me but it isn't enough. I then punch the mirror in front of me. I relish at the pain and look at the broken mirror. It's still not enough.

"Dude, stop," Dylan yells. I punch him in the jaw. He punches right back and my nose cracks. The pain is still not enough.

This doesn't equal to what Venus felt.

"Use your fucking brain, moron," Dylan yells. I breathe heavily. The pain on my fist and nose numbs but my heart continues to throb.

"I don't deserve Venus."

"Damn right, you don't," Dylan mumbles, "she doesn't deserve a psychotic idiot."

Dylan sighs and faces me.

"So, become the guy she deserves."

With that, he glares at me and leaves the room.

Become the guy she deserves?

She deserves someone who loves her unconditionally. Someone who doesn't hurt her. Someone who is always there for her. Someone who can give what she needs. She's so innocent, too innocent for me.

Can I do it?

But I wouldn't be doing it for her, would I? I would be doing it for myself. I was addicted to her. She was the best brand of drug. I smile at the memory of her soft lips on my cheeks. Her hugs were the most comforting and warm ones.

Her hair smelt better than heaven.

She was my Venus. My earth, my solar system, my moon, my star, my whole fucking universe.

The color of my life.

And, I was going crazy without her.

I don't fucking care if I sound crazy but I loved her. I love her so fucking much.

I remember the pain on her eyes when I had said that it was a mere attraction. Who was I kidding, I had loved her from the beginning. But I had to hurt her, it would be easy that way. I thought it would be easy if she hated me but of-fucking-course I was wrong.

Her pained eyes were etched on my brain.

Be someone who she deserves.

I might be able to do that. I can try. I will try.

I walk down the stairs and before I can go outside, a hand on my shoulder stops me.

"Have you seen yourself? Do you want to scare her away?"

Dylan was once again right. I looked like shit. I didn't have a minute to lose. So, I rush to my room, take a quick shower, change into the best pair of shirt and pant I had. I put on my best cologne too.

I go thirty over the speed limit and thankfully, don't get fined. I couldn't afford to get late. I run to the elevator and wait impatiently. It takes ages for the elevator to take me to her floor.

I knock at her door impatiently. It doesn't open. I knock again, my heart rate goes a thousand times per second.

The door opens and I suck in a breath. However, it isn't my kitten who opens the door. Disappointment sinks in.

"What do you want, shithead?" Samantha asks.

"Where is Venus?"

"Leave. She's not here," she answers with a hand on her waist.

"Tell me where she is," I demand.

"Why? To hurt her again?"

"I love her, okay," I yell impatiently. Her eyes widen in surprise and she looks at me suspiciously. A moment later, she heaves a sigh.

"She left. She doesn't live here anymore."

"What do you mean she doesn't live here anymore?" We talked just yesterday. More like, I broke her heart just yesterday.

Samantha flinches at my voice and I can't help but see red. Where did she go? Where did my kitten go?

"Her uncle's house," Samantha answers, "she said something about a break."

With everything that had happened with Jackson, well, my kitten had gotten through too much. This place had brought nothing but fucking trouble for her. I felt bad for her but I was going to make it up to her.

"What time is her flight?"

"She's already on board," Samantha says.

I don't waste a minute and call Dylan, my feet take me to the elevator.

"Yeah?" he answers after a moment.

"Dylan, I.. um, need to borrow your private jet?"

On the background, I can hear Dylan mumbling how whipped I was and how he was going to kill me if something happened to his jet. As if I'm the one driving it.

But, my mind was elsewhere. I had to buy some beautiful flowers and chocolate. Girls found it romantic right? And, I had to buy a helmet too. In case my kitten had sharp claws, if you get what I mean.

And, I was quite short on time.

I am coming, kitten. Hopefully, you still love me. I really cannot take it the other way.
