《Prisoner 345 {the 100}》Chapter 14: Weakness

I woke up in the drop ship and took in my surroundings. My vision was blurred. I saw a girl with blonde hair, her back facing me. She was talking to a guy, I think. Then, I was taken back to reality. I looked down at my leg and winced in pain.
"Clarke, she's up.", I heard Finn yell. He ran over to me along with Bellamy.
"You're back. How?", I asked Finn.
"That's nothing to worry about now, shorty.", He said smiling. Clarke walked over to me.
"How are you feeling?", She asked me worried.
"Like I just got shot in the leg.", I told her making Finn chuckle. Bellamy was really absent, he hadn't said a word yet. He just looked at me.
"What are you feeling right now? What hurts and where?", Clarke asked me. So many questions.
"My head hurts. And my leg.", I said. It was hard to talk, my throat felt dry.
"Get her some water.", Clarke demanded Finn. "Aaliyah, the bullet is still inside your leg. I'm going to get it out in a few minutes." I shivered at that thought. Finn walked over to me and handed me a cup of water. I thanked him and then laid down again. Clarke came back with tweezers.
"I'm going to do this as fast as possible, but I can't promise you it won't hurt.", Clarke said and I nodded. "Finn, can you hold her down?" Finn walked over to me and held my arms down. Bellamy just watched. What was up with him?
"You might not wanna look.", Clarke said and I looked up at the ceiling. Damn it, Murphy.
I felt her go into my wound and I started screaming. That shit hella hurt. I was moving a lot but I just couldn't help it. I kicked with my other leg.
"Keep her still.", Clarke demanded and Bellamy now walked over to me and held my legs.
----------------
After Clarke had took the bullet out she also burnt it. It would stop the bleeding, she said. I don't think I've ever been in so much pain. Finn was holding my hand.
"I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?", He asked.
"Raven gave me a gun. I went into the drop ship to get some gunpowder and I had laid it down on a table. When I got down, Murphy saw I wanted to get the gun but he was faster.", I told them. They listened very closely.

"Raven said there was gunpowder left. We can make lots of bullets of that and maybe even a bomb.", Finn said.
"Let's get back to the Reapers. Maybe they'll help us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?", Bellamy spoke up.
"Not this enemy. We saw them. Trust me, not an option.", Clarke said.
"There's no time for this. Can she walk or not?", Finn asked. The last phrase he whispered like he didn't want me to hear it.
"No. We have to carry her.", Clarke responded and I instantly protested.
"Like hell you will. I'm good to go.", I told her trying to sit up but she pushed me down again.
"Hey, listen to me. I don't know what happened inside you when I got that bullet out. To check that, I'm gonna need more time. If by some miracle there's no internal bleeding, you might hold until we get somewhere save. But you are not walking there. Is that clear?", Clarke told me like she was my mother. I just nodded but wasn't happy. Not at all. And I definitely didn't agree.
"I'll get a stretcher.", Finn said and he walked away.
"Can't run fast enough, huh? Real brave.", Bellamy said.
"Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, it's stupid.", Finn said as he walked back when he said that.
"Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight.", Bellamy said walking closer to Finn.
"All right, that's enough. It's time to go.", Clarke said.
"If they follow? It's a 120 mile walk to the ocean.", Bellamy told Clarke.
"Look, we're wasting time. If he wants to stay, he can stay.", Finn snapped.
"No, he can't.", Clarke said but Finn walked off. Clarke and Bellamy said some things I couldn't understand and then Clarke walked off too. Bellamy sat down next to me. He didn't say anything and I couldn't take the silence anymore.
"You're gonna tell me what's up with you?", I asked him. He looked up. He looked sad, guilty.
"You almost died today. Multiple times. All because of me. I should've listened to you when we decided to let Murphy stay in our camp. If something would've happened to you today-", Bellamy said but I cut him off.
"Bellamy, listen to me. This is not your fault, okay? You were just being nice and he messed it up. Murphy messed up. And, I'm still around, aren't I? You're gonna be stuck with me for a long time.", I told him. He chuckled.

"It's just, I saw you sitting there. I saw you getting shot, and I couldn't do anything about it. I feel guilty. I came in there to save you.", Bellamy said.
"Same for me. I saw you getting hanged and I couldn't do anything about it, either. I think we're even. I felt guilty too, but Murphy did this. This was never our intention.", I told him. He pulled me into a hug.
"Don't ever do that to me again.", He said.
————
We were all going out of camp. Finn and a boy were carrying me. I hated this. I wanted to walk. This is all because of Murphy. I hate him.
Suddenly everyone stopped and looked around. I got scared.
"Why are we stopping?", I asked no one specific.
"I don't know.", Finn answered me worried. "I don't see anything."
Then an axe got thrown right into someone's face. I was really scared right now since I couldn't walk properly.
"Grounders!", Jasper yelled and everyone started panicking and screaming. Everyone ran back to camp and no one stopped screaming.
I was leaning on Finn and this boy's shoulders. Finn walked to a boy.
"Get her inside the drop ship.", He demanded.
"What? No, I can walk.", I told him. I let go of the boys and tried to walk but eventually I fell to the ground making me scream of frustration.
The two boys picked me up and walked me to the drop ship whilst everyone was panicking and I couldn't do anything to help. I hated feeling like this. I had to help.
——————
"We've got 25 rifles with 20 rounds each, give or take.", Bellamy said. Currently, Bellamy, Clarke, Finn and Raven were discussing on what to do. They decided I could help them since I felt useless. "Roughly 500 rounds of ammo. While you two were gone, we made some improvements. Thanks to Raven, the gully is mined."
"Partially mined, thanks to Murphy.", I couldn't help but say that.
"Still, it's the main route in. If the Grounders use it, we'll know.", Bellamy said and he was right. "She also built grenades."
"That's not many.", Clarke said.
"Again, thank you, Murphy.", I said.
"We'll make them count. If the Grounders make it through the front gate guns and grenades should force them back.", Bellamy explained us.
"And then?", Clarke asked.
"Then we close the door and pray.", Raven spoke up.
"And pray what? That the ship keeps them out? Because it won't.", Clarke said.
"Let's not let them get through the gate. All foxholes, listen up. Keep your eyes and ears open. Inflict casualties. As many as possible.", Bellamy said through his radio to the others. "You can hold them off long enough to make them turn back. That's the plan."
"That's always your plan. Just like the bomb at the bridge.", Finn suddenly spoke up.
"Damn right. You got a better idea?", Bellamy asked Finn annoyed. It was obvious the two couldn't stand each other.
"It can't be that simple.", Clarke shook her head. She turned around to Raven. "You said there's fuel in those rockets, right? Enough to build a hundred bombs."
"I also said we got no gunpowder left.", Raven answered Clarke.
"I don't wanna build a bomb. I want a blastoff.", Clarke said and Raven smirked.
"Draw them in close.", Raven said. I had no idea what they meant or what they were talking about. "Fire the rockets. A ring of fire."
"Barbecued Grounders. I like it.", Bellamy said.
"But we don't have to kill them.", I randomly spoke up.
"We have no other choice. If we don't kill them, they'll kill us.", Bellamy told me.
"Doesn't mean it's justified.", I told him.
"Will it work?", Finn asked Raven, changing the subject.
"The wiring's a mess down there, but yeah. You give me enough time, I'll cook them for real good.", Raven sassed. Everyone except for me agreed with the plan.
—————
We were now a few hours later and I was trying to walk. I could walk, but it still hurt. I did feel that I was recovering though. I could walk slowly but not run, then I would be in too much pain. I hope my leg was better when the Grounder's came.
"Kid, how's your leg?", Bellamy walked into the drop ship.
"I can walk but it still hurts.", I told him.
"That's why you should lay down and wait until it doesn't hurt anymore. Then you know your leg is totally recovered.", Bellamy said.
"But I wanna do something. I hate being useless.", I told him.
"You are not useless. It's just better if you rest now, because if you don't you won't be able to help us out later. Get some rest, I'll wake you up later.", He told me and I nodded.
A few minutes later, I fell asleep.
