《Prisoner 345 {the 100}》Chapter 13: Murphy's revenge

I was so mad at Bellamy. When Octavia went missing he took almost everyone from camp with him to look for her but now that it's Clarke and Finn he wants to stay in camp and wait until they magically come back? That's so selfish.
"We've all been on watch all day!", I heard Bellamy yell and I looked up as the scene unfold. "That bullet was one less dead Grounder." So apparently, a guy fell asleep when he was on watch and accidently pulled his trigger.
"Bell, you're scaring people.", Octavia said and she was right.
"They should be scared.", He yelled. He walked to everyone. "The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up. The Grounders are out there right now waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do. Clarke, Finn and Monty are gone, probably dead." Then why didn't we go look for them? "And if you wanna be next, I can't stop you. But no guns are leaving this camp. This camp is the only think keeping us alive. Get back to work.", He yelled. I've never seen him this angry darn.
————-
I was helping Raven again, making more bullets but we were out of gunpowder. Fortunatly, Jasper had made some yesterday.
"Aaliyah, can you get us some more gunpowder?", Raven asked me and I nodded. I walked into the drop ship where Bellamy was standing. I didn't really wanna talk to him
right now, honestly. He looked over at me as I walked to the ladder to go to the first level.
"Don't you think I wanna go after them too?", He asked me.
"If it was you out there, you think Clarke, Finn or Monty would hide behind these walls?", I asked him.
"No, they'd go after me. Then they'd be dead too.", He answered. I sighed. "I am doing what I think is right for the group."
I walked over to the table to put the gun down I was carrying.
"It's funny you didn't think that way when Octavia went missing.", I snapped. I walked to the ladder, about to climb up.
"Where are you going?", He asked me.
"More gunpowder for your minefield, sir.", I told him and I climbed up the ladder to the first level.
I walked over to the little box with gunpowder. I did a bit of it in a cup.
When I climbed down I saw something I never wanted to see. Murphy was holding a plastic bag over Myles' face until he stopped breathing. I made a noise making Murphy look up at me, panicking.
"He stopped breathing. I was just- I was trying to help him.", He said trying to make me believe his story. I knew better than playing the smart ass right now so I just nodded. I climbed down the ladder and looked over at the gun I had previously laid on a table. He saw what I was looking at making both of us run for the gun but he was first and loaded it and then pointed it at me. I put my hands up in defence.
"Just put the gun down.", I tried to stay as calm as possible but one single click on that trigger and I was dead and that thought made it pretty hard to stay calm.
"He tried to kill me.", Murphy suddenly made up. He was such a bad liar. I just acted like I believed him. I walked back but he pointed the gun more at me.

"Hey, don't move!", He said raising his voice and his sudden voice outburst scared me.
"Okay, okay. It's cool.", I told him. I suddenly thought about the walkie in my pocket. I used one of my hands to turn it on hoping someone was listening.
"No, it's not. You know what will happen to me if you tell Bellamy.", He said.
"Tell Bellamy what?", I heard Bellamy say through the walkie. Damn it, Bell.
I closed my eyes and cursed to myself. Murphy just looked at my pocket which scared the shit out of me.
"Give me the radio, Aaliyah.", He said. His glare was still on my pocket and inside I was freaking out. I grabbed the radio and before I handed it to Murphy I started talking through it.
"Murphy has a gun, he killed Myles-", I tried to say as fast as possible.
"Shut the hell up!", He yelled and then I heard a gun shot. I dropped the radio.
It scared the shit out of me and I'm glad he didn't hit me. I looked up at him and he hit me on the head with his gun making me fall down. Let me tell you, that hurts like hell.
"Murphy what the hell happened in there?", I heard Bellamy say worried. Murphy walked over to the lever and closed the drop ship. I was wincing in pain and laid down at the ground. I really felt like I was gonna die in here.
"Murphy! Murphy! Murphy, open the damn door!", I heard Bellamy scream.
"If you try to be a hero, Aaliyah dies!", Murphy yelled back.
"Murphy! Murphy if you touch Aaliyah, I swear you're dead.", I heard Octavia scream. I looked over at Murphy who looked in front of him.
"Don't do this. What the hell do you want?", I yelled at him.
"Shut up.", Murphy snapped. He walked over to me and grabbed my arms. I pulled my arms away and tried to stand up but I felt really dizzy.
"No, stop!", I yelled.
"Aaliyah, don't be like that and give me your damn wrists.", He yelled making me shiver but I crawled away. He walked over to me and lifted me up like it was nothing and grabbed my wrists. He first put them around the ladder and then tied them so I was stuck. It was really tight and it hurted.
"Murphy, I know you can hear me.", I heard Bellamy say through the walkie. "All our ammo and food's in the middle level, you know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."
"Yeah, well in case you didn't notice, you're not exactly in control right now.", Murphy said.
I tried to break my wrists free but Murphy walked over to me and kicked me hard in the stomach making me wince. Damn it.
"Leave her alone. Come on, Murphy. You don't wanna hurt Aaliyah. You wanna hurt me.", Bellamy said. I was trying to get my wrists free and they started bleeding. Murphy looked over at me as tears were welling up and I was about to cry. "So, what do you say? How about you trade her for me. All you have to do is let her go and I'll take her place."
Murphy looked over at me again and then smirked. "Actually, I wanna hurt both of you. Without Aaliyah, you wouldn't have thought about banishing me. So here's the deal. You come in and I'll let her live or you don't and I'll shoot a bullet through her head.", His words made me shiver. He definitely wasn't lying. I hope Bellamy wasn't this stupid to agree.

"Okay. You open the door, I walk in, you close it.", Bellamy said. Stupid.
Murphy walked over to the lever and the drop ship opened. "Just you Bellamy, unarmed!", Murphy yelled. Please, don't come in Bellamy.
"10 seconds or I'll put one in Aaliyah's leg. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5-"
"I'm here.", I heard Bellamy say. I saw Bellamy walking in and Murphy pulled the lever making the door close again. Bellamy instantly ran over to me.
"Are you okay?", Bellamy asked me and I nodded.
"You're so stupid for coming in here.", I told him.
Murphy pointed the gun at my head.
"Get away from her, or I'll shoot her right in front of you.", Murphy yelled. He shot right above me making me scream in fear. The bullet was like an inch apart from hitting me. "Do what I say."
"Bellamy?", I heard Octavia say through the radio.
"You want her to know you're alive?", Murphy asked Bellamy. He grabbed seat belts and demanded Bellamy to tie them. I knew exactly what he was planning on doing.
"Bellamy, don't.", I told him. Murphy walked over to me and kneeled.
"You, little girl, are about to be a witness of your friends death, how does that sound, huh?", He asked me. What a psycho. I just spit in his face and he chuckled, cleaning his face in disgust. He grabbed my shirt harsh, our faces only a few inches away and he scared me as hell. Then he let go off me and I winced in pain. My wrists were hurting because I tried to get them free.
"Bellamy, do you copy?", Octavia asked again.
"I'm fine.", He said.
"What about Aaliyah?", I heard Jasper ask. Bellamy looked over at Murphy who nodded.
"She's okay.", He said.
"Alright, that's enough.", Murphy said and Bellamy put the walkie down. "Tie those two ends together." He demanded Bellamy as I shook my head. Murphy was still pointing the gun at my head so Bellamy knew what would happen if he didn't listen.
"Bellamy, please, don't listen to him. Don't do it.", I told him. I tried to get away and leant in front of me as far as I could but the ladder took care about me not getting away.
"If I don't do this he'll kill you.", He said.
"If you do that you'll kill yourself.", I shot back and he looked at me but then returned to tying the two ends together. I kept trying to free my wrists and I saw the seat belt he had tied me with getting ripped a bit so I kept trying.
"All right, now get up and toss it over.", Murphy demanded Bell. Bellamy looked up and for a second I saw he was scared. The emotion went away and he did as Murphy asked.
"Bellamy, stop!", I cried out.
"Shut the hell up.", Murphy snapped and I sent him the most awful glare possible.
"What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm-", Bellamy wanted to walk over to Murphy but Murphy pointed his gun at him and he stopped. I was crying and I didn't care if they saw it.
"I'm sorry.", Bellamy said and I actually think he was scared. I was too. Murphy smirked.
"You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt and then.... then I want you to die.", Murphy said and I totally freaked out.
"No, Murphy, stop! Stop blaming Bellamy for your mistakes!", I yelled.
"What are you talking about? I didn't make mistakes, he tried to kill me for something I didn't do.", Murphy walked over to me yelling and I crawled back.
"Then let me do it.", I said.
"Let you do what?", Murphy asked.
"Let me hang myself. I am such as guilty as Bellamy is. Please, just don't hurt him.", I told him.
"Aaliyah, what the hell are you doing?", Bellamy spoke up.
"You don't get it. I want him to feel what I felt. And I am going to let you watch.", Murphy told me smirking. I wanted to slap him in his face right now so badly.
Bellamy looked up at the loop he had made with the seat belt and I could see the frightened look on his face. I wanted to walk over to him right now, hug him and tell him it was going to be okay. But it wasn't going to be.
Murphy grabbed a chair and shove it under the loop.
"Stand on it.", He demanded Bellamy.
"No, please don't.", I cried out. I could barely talk because my throat was burning so much.
Bellamy climbed on the chair and stood under the loop now. I was so scared.
"Put it over your head.", Murphy demanded.
"This is insane.", Bellamy said and I agreed. "The Grounders could've-" Then I heard a gun shot. Murphy fired it right above my leg. This was the second time I nearly got shot.
"Put it over your head.", Murphy told Bellamy again as Murphy held the other end of the belt.
Bellamy did as told and I kept trying to get my hands free. That was the only way I could save Bellamy.
"Happy now?", Bellamy asked. Murphy pulled the belt down and let go again. Bellamy held his hands on the belt.
"You're so brave, aren't you? You came in here thinking you were gonna turn this whole thing around, save Aaliyah. That you were stronger than me, that maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy? Huh?", Murphy asked smirking.
"Stop it!", I yelled but Murphy ignored me.
He pulled Bellamy up with the other end of the seatbelt and Bellamy used his hands to get the belt a bit away from his neck. I started pulling on the ladder and yelling he had to stop. He eventually stopped.
"You know, I gotta hand it to you, Bellamy. You got them all fooled. They actually look up to you. Almost as much as they look up to Clarke. Yeah, but we know the truth, don't we? You're a coward.", Murphy said.
"Stop!", I yelled.
"Shut up. I learnt that the day you kicked out the crate from beneath me. Isn't that what you said? That you were just giving the people what they wanted, right?", Murphy looked Bellamy right in the eye.
"I should've stopped them.", Bellamy said. He seemed to actually regret his action. Murphy fake smiled.
"Yeah, it's a little late for that now.", Murphy said.
"How does this end for you Murphy?", Bellamy asked him. I almost got my wrists free, it was only a matter of time. "You think they're just gonna let you walk out of here?"
"Well, I think the princess is dead. And I know the king's about to die, so who's really gonna lead this people? Huh?", Murphy asked Bellamy. "Me. And yeah, maybe I have to kill Aaliyah and your Grounder-pounding little sister."
When Murphy said that Bellamy lost it and tried to kick him as Murphy ran over to the belt. He pulled it up again and Bellamy was trying to breath.
"Murphy! Stop, please! Don't do this! I can't let you!", I screamed.
"Yeah, and what are you gonna do about it?", Murphy yelled so hard it scared me. Suddenly I heard a little scream from under us.
"I'm guessing that's her right now.", Murphy said and started shooting and Bellamy was yelling. Right in that moment my wrists came free and I ran over to Bellamy, ready to free him as Murphy turned around. He shot me in the leg and then kicked the crate from under Bellamy's feet. I screamed out in pain. I fell to my knees and held my hands on the wound.
"Bellamy! Murphy, let go of him, please! I'll take his place just untie him!", I cried out and Murphy walked over to me. He spun me around and held his arm over my neck making me look at Bellamy. I couldn't do anything. I was too weak. I hated being weak. I knew he was going to kill me when Bellamy was dead. The only thing I was doing right now, was crying. From pain. Not only physically from my leg, but also emotional pain. I watched as the person who took care of me ever since we landed here was choking and I couldn't do anything about it. Murphy was enjoying it.
"Using your hands is a cheat. Mine were bind. Remember?", He let go of me and walked over to Bellamy. I ran to Murphy and jumped on him making him fall back. The pain in my leg was now unbearable and I know if I kept going it would only make it worse but right now Bellamy is the only one that matters. Murphy kicked me in the stomach three times with his gun and I laid down in defeat. It was over. Suddenly, I heard the door of the drop ship open. Murphy looked up.
"Raven, you did it!", I heard Jasper yell.
I saw Jasper walk in as he immediately ran to Bellamy to lift him up.
Octavia ran over to him as she yelled. Some kids ran over to me, helping me sit up but everything hurt. They untied Bellamy and he fell down. I saw he was breathing and a weight left my shoulders. Then Jasper ran over to me and looked at my leg.
"Oh, shit.", He said and he held his hands on my wound. Bellamy stood up and ran to the ladder. Murphy previously climbed to the first level.
"Murphy! Murphy, it's over!", Bellamy yelled. Apparently, I was right when I said it was over.
Octavia also ran over to me and she looked at Jasper. They gave each other worried looks. I started to close my eyes because I was so tired.
"Hey, hey, Aaliyah. Stay awake.", Octavia demanded me and I opened my eyes again.
I heard everyone yell some things but then darkness took over me.

Peerless Hegemon
Warning: Can be quite tearjerking and depressing (or so others say). If you are weak to that and hates that kind of thing, then this story is not for you === Ye Feng lived two lives in one lifetime. First, he basked in the light of Righteousness, becoming an idol of peace and justice. Second, he trod the mired path of the Darkest Path, becoming an object of fear and death. One lifetime, Two Identities, countless experiences, still without purpose. A meaningless existence. An empty husk. In his selfishness of wanting to fill the void in him, he became the catalyst that destroyed Reality. He now controlled everything, ultimate power, uncontestable by none. But he cast it away, to be reborn anew. With a new name and a family, his goal was to understand, his place. To understand how to no longer feel empty. With his family consisting of a Reincarnated Twin Sister and Parents with inscrutable pasts, his desire was not that of grandeur. In this lifetime, he wishes not to hold power, not to gain eternal life, nor control of everything, he only wishes to live, and hopefully look at sunrise with a smile on his face. === Disclaimer: The story focuses on the Main Character’s emotional and personality growth. He is someone who is, obviously OP in some perspectives but almost crippled in others. He is not soft and does not spare anyone because it is “Bad” so expect that there would be genocide and some bloody encounters. I want this instead of just the MC’s search for life and its complication. Where Philosophy and values exist. A story where every action has proper consequences, and not everything can be conquered with a single punch (unless it can be, no need for an unnecessary complication if it can be avoided). Further Notes: This is a story that will gradually increase in word counts and become Chunkier as it progresses and will almost never be below 2000 words, but if the word count will only lengthen the chapter at the expense of a finished tale, it could and would be cut off before 2000 mark), give it a try, it won’t disappoint (I hope). And if by chance that you like it, giving a good Rating and Review will be encouraging to me and possible readers. Schedule: Monday and Friday If you want to read ahead and/or support me to creating this story, you can do it through my Patreon (link below the next chapter button.) This is also a rewrite of this: Peerless Hegemon [OLD] | Royal Road
