《Prisoner 345 {the 100}》Chapter 9: Day Trip ✯

The next morning I walked over to Jasper and Monty. They were eating something and I had to admit, I was kinda hungry.
"Hey, look who's awake. Want some nuts?", Jasper asked me and I gave him a weak smile and nodded. I grabbed one nut and tasted it, but I hated the taste, honestly. I instantly spit it out.
"Eww. Never. Again.", I said and they laughed.
Clarke walked over to us.
"Aaliyah, you're up.", She smiled at me. I was going to talk to my aunt. Clarke talked with the Chancellor and Council and they would let us talk to our parents but since I didn't have any parents, I assumed they were going to let me talk to my aunt.
I was mad at her too for what she did yesterday but I couldn't hide a small smile. I walked over to the tent. I saw a screen and took a seat in front of it. But instead of my aunt, I saw a Council member.
"Where's my aunt?", I asked him.
"You can see her after you and I have a talk. Are you alone?", The mysterious man asked me.
"Yeah, why?", I asked him feeling uncomfortable.
"I have a problem. I think you can help me fix it. And in return I guarantee your aunt a spot on the first drop ship. And I will make sure you can see your brother again. If you don't do it, I can guarantee you they won't make it back down alive.", He threatened and I guess he knew I'd do anything for them.
"What do you want me to do?", I asked him curious.
"Kill Bellamy Blake.", He hissed.
✯
I can't believe myself. I actually considered killing Bellamy. What am I, nods? I think I should better just go and talk to him. I saw him, about to leave camp as I called out for him. I hope he wasn't mad anymore at me for yesterday 'cause I didn't have time for that.

"Hey, kid. What's up?", He asked me.
"Can I talk to you in private?", I asked him and he nodded.

-flashback-
I was sitting in my room, food rations spread out over my bed. Before my dad got floated, he told me I had to steal food rations so me and my brother wouldn't starve. My aunt takes care for our food so I actually shouldn't steal but it was the last promise I made to my dad and I intended to keep my word.
"What are you doing?", Lucas spoke up from behind me. I didn't know he was here. "Laila gives us enough food, why are you stealing?" My twin brother gave me a disappointed look.
"Lucas, it was the last promise we made to dad. Don't tell Laila.", I begged him. Laila was my mother's best friend, we always called her aunt Laila. She took care for me and my brother ever since our parents got floated. What she didn't knew was that her husband abused us. Luckily for us, he wasn't home a lot, lately.
"I won't. If you promise me this was your last time stealing.", My brother said. I nodded.
"Okay, I promise.", I told him. Suddenly, our door got swung open. Oh, no. Surprise inspection. The food rations were still spread over my bed.
"Aaliyah Stark, you are under arrest for stealing food rations, multiple times.", A guard said and I froze. Another guard walked over to me and grabbed me by the arm as my brother tried to pull me back. Another guard grabbed my brother and he started crying, we were only 10.
"Hey, it's okay. I promise, I won't leave you.", I told him as the guards dragged me away. I heard my brother scream. I knew I would never forget this moment.

Bellamy and I had figured out it was the same person who asked Bellamy to shot Jaha, who asked me to kill Bellamy. Shumway. He probably asked me so Bellamy wouldn't be able to betray the man when they would come down to earth. In the mean time, I still hadn't talked to my aunt. I hoped I could talk to her later.
Later that night, I woke up by Bellamy sitting down next to me. I must've fallen asleep earlier.
"Hey, kid. You missed a lot. Never eat nuts again because some of them apparently drive you crazy.", He told me and I chuckled. "Also, from tomorrow on we'll have training so everyone can defend theirselves when the Grounders attack. Isn't it a good idea if you'd go too? Just in case I'm not there when something happens."
I nodded an smiled at the guy who has been trying to take care of me ever since we landed on the ground.

Must you hunt me so fiercely? Why are you doing this to me?” The Heart does not understand their motives. Perhaps its lack of understanding has something to do with the fact the Heart has no physical limits nor material needs. Why take it from someone, when you can simply will it forth?
