"Sooo.... What exactly is my new Luna job." I ask Brenton as we sit at the breakfast table.

He looks up from his plate and smiles.

"Well when you aren't in little space you will be helping me manage the pack. A Luna tends to focus more on the social aspects of pack life where the Alpha is more business... Kelly's little sister Katie will show you the ropes." He explains and I nod.

"And what about the whole little thing?" I ask. I'm still uncomfortable with it. I feel like I'm no good at being Little. I don't know what it's like to be a child so having a child-like headspace is confusing.

"My hope is that you will be comfortable being in Little space anywhere and everywhere. It is good for you to relax... However you and Eddy seem to share your troubles with being little. For different reasons sure but troubles none the less. With that I won't push you to be little in public. I will insure you slip frequently though." He tells me.

"What if I don't want to... What if the idea of being little stresses me out?" I ask and he sighs.

"It's in our nature. You will need to slip. I could tell that my baby bat was enjoying herself coloring... I still wish you'd tell me what got you so upset. Eddy had no idea. He was crying saying his first friend hates him... Will you please tell me what has you so against being little? I get you never had a childhood but this is a second chance. What makes you so afraid of being little?" He asks.

"I don't like feeling stupid... I am smart. I am capable. I feel like an idiot when I don't know what something is. I feel like I need to do everything and relying on someone else is scary. Calling you daddy is embarrassing because it means I need you... I can't need people because people leave you and die and you are left alone... A lot of things make it hard." I ramble looking down at my plate no longer hungry.

"Princess." Brenton sighs picking me up and setting me on his lap. "One, you are very smart and because of that you can learn all the Disney movies and children's games by heart in no time. It's not knowing the characters in Cars that makes you a little. It's in here." He says pointing to my chest. "You are a child at heart and that is beautiful... Secondly, you have had to care for yourself for far to long. You may find peace in letting go for a little bit... Finally, I love you calling me daddy. You trusting and relying on me makes me happier than you will ever know so please don't be embarrassed. I'm not going anywhere. People may have left you in the past but I am here and I always will be."

"You can't promise that... You could die tomorrow." I argue.

"Maybe... But I can promise to do everything in my power to never leave you." He hugs me close rocking side to side. "I love you, baby girl."

"Love?" I ask stunned by the word. Can he love me already?

"Yes, you are my mate and I will always love you." He says and I hug his neck burying my face in his shoulder.

"Love you daddy." I tell him. I can do this. I can be little and I can call him daddy because... Well... I love him too!

"My beautiful baby batty." He chuckles and I giggle. "Come on let's go. We can watch a movie."

"Cars?" I ask wanting to learn about the movie before seeing Eddy again. Daddy chuckles.

"Cars it is."

Alpha Brenton's POV

"we got's ta go tractor tippin'!" Eddy cheers as the littles watch cars... again. don't get me wrong its a cute show but Eddy has corrupted my baby bat into being nearly obsessed as he is.

"I'm so glad she came here." Kelly sighs looking over at our mates. its been one week and I never would have believed it possible but Kenzie and Eddy are in little space in the main living room of the pack house.

"I know. Beyond the fact that she is my mate she is simply amazing. She is great with the pups and the pack loves her. Eddy has been going into little space every night to play with her which makes him far more productive as a Beta... She brings a balance to our lives." I gush over my wonderful little mate.

"I'm just glad to see my mate so comfortable with himself. Do you know he called me mommy yesterday in the middle of training? he was in Beta mode then hugged me and asked "Can we have Mac'n'cheese for dinner mommy?" it was like he thought nothing of it and went back to training the men!" she says and I laugh.

"So did you make him mac'n'cheese?" I ask.

"Of course I did! I want him to be comfortable calling me that all the time." She says.

"Yea, things are going pretty good for us." I sigh.

"Don't jinx us now!" Kelly laughs and I join her.

"I don't believe in Jinxing..." I start to say but a mind link cuts me off.

"This is boarder patrol. We have a problem."
