Sharrkan
I curse internally when I receive Pisti's message. How the heck am I going to defeat all these puppets? A few inches behind me is the drop of a cliff. Above me, the shield around Sindria shudders as another magical attack hits it.
"Your magician certainly is weak. Her magical shield is no match for our magic," the guttural voice says. At that, I throw my head back laughing. Once I manage to catch my breath, I take my stance again. "She's a genius, that Yamuraiha. You'd better not underestimate her."
Seeming to ignore my words, the puppets all charge towards me, their aim clear - push me off the cliff ontothe jagged rocks below. So I jump right off the edge. The magic shield behindme forms a giant bubble that encases all the puppets at once. "Foraz Saiqa!" Iyell as my sword whips through the bubble and cuts the puppets into pieces. Thebubble then passes through the shield, dumping the pieces of puppets out ofSindria. "Sorry for the extra trouble, Yamuraiha," I say as a water tentaclecatches me and drops me safely on the cliff edge, just in time before I smashonto the sharp rocks below. I'm glad that I got past the puppets, but I've usedmy Household Vessel twice. That's alot of used up magoi. Without a second to waste, I run back to the palace.
