After Natsu defeated Future Rogue, everyone cheered while he fell from exhaustion.
"He did it!" Sora said, jumping in the air. However, all of the dragons started glowing. "Huh? They're vanishing." After all of the dragons disappeared, everyone smiled. However, some Dragon Slayers were disappointed that they didn't slay a single dragon.
Meanwhile, Natsu watched Future Rogue disappear. "The Rogue I know will never become you."
"Shadow..." Future Rogue mumbled, confusing Natsu. "The shadow...sucks me in...It hounds me relentlessly...The darkness within me will never go away. And the day Frosch died...That was the day...that the shadow and I became one..."
"Frosch won't die!"
"In one year. Tell the other me...to protect Frosch...a year from now...Frosch will be killed...by..."
Meanwhile, Future Lucy finally returned to her time. Smiling, she cried. However, the current Lucy felt a tear fall down her face. "Tears...?!" Walking to Natsu, she hugged him from behind.
"What's the matter, Lucy?"
"Nothing. I just felt the need to say...thanks."
~~~~~~
Hugging everyone, Sora smiled. But, she felt something was off. Blinking, she looked towards Magi. 'Why do I feel like I miss 'em already...?'
"Because it's time for them to leave." Mira said, smiling, as she appeared from nowhere.
"Mira?!" Jumping away, Sora pointed at her. "What are you doing here?!"
"Just sending them home." Mira pointed towards Magi. "They were sent here by me to help you in the battle. And now, it's time for them to go home."
"Can I say goodbye, then?"
"Of course. It's the least I can do."
As she walked towards them, she smiled. Running, she jumped onto Muu. Laughing, she clutched onto him as he staggered forwards. "Guess who?" she said, covering his eyes.
Grunting, Muu held her arms so she wouldn't fall off. "There's only one person I know who jumps onto me as much as you do, Sora."
"Correct!"
"What are you doing over here?" Alibaba asked.
"Hmm? Just to say goodbye!"
Confused, they all tilted their head. However, they felt a tingling sensation flow through their bodies. Blinking, they saw themselves glowing.
"I'm sorry to ruin your goodbyes, but it's time for you to head home." Mira said, walking towards them.
"Wait! We can't just leave!" Alibaba stated.
"I know you don't want to, but you don't belong here."
However, Sin held Sora's hand as they were lifted in the air. "Sora, do you like me?"
"Of course I do!" Sora laughed.
"No. I mean romantically."
Realizing he wasn't playing, she smiled bitterly. "Sorry, but no."
"Oh....But if you did, would you stay with me in my world?"
Shaking her head, Sora closed her eyes and looked at the ground. "I...couldn't. I have a family here." Looking up, she looked at everyone. "I don't have the heart to leave 'em."
"Sora, Look at me." Turning her head, she was welcomed with a kiss. Breaking away, he looked at her sadly. "Doesn't that mean anything to you?"
Shaking her head, she looked at his hand that grasped hers tightly, awaiting her answer. "I'm sorry, Sin. You were more like a brother to me."
"Ooh, sibling-zoned." The others said.
Annoyed, Sin glared at them while Sora laughed. Before she could blink, they were gone. Frowning, she finally cried. Walking towards her, Mira hugged her. "I'm sorry, but you would die if they didn't help."
"How would you know?"
"Just like the Lucy from the future, I came here to make things right."
"Huh? What does that mean?" Getting out of the hug, Sora looked into her eyes, furrowing her eyebrows.
"My powers allow me to see the future. Many times, I saw everyone die in this dimension. Teaming up with Future Lucy, I allowed Sinbad and the others to come here."
"Hmm..." After a moment of silence, Sora saw Mira was starting to disappear. "Wait! Where are you going?!"
"I'm sorry, but my time is up." Mira, bitterly smiling, disappeared just as Sora touched her. As her eyes widened, her foot hit against something. Looking down, it was Mira's staff. Knees buckling underneath her, she fell to the ground. With her hands shaking, she clutched it tightly. Bringing it to her chest, she cried and yelled towards the sky.
Several days after the battle, the king announced that a party would be held for all the wizards who aided in the battle.
While the girls were getting ready for the ball, Sora peeked around the curtain, embarrassed. "Do I really have ta go?"
Catching the girls attention, Erza said, "Of course you do. Don't you want to impress someone special tonight?"
Clutching the curtain tightly in her hands, Sora looked down as her face exploded in red. "N-no way!" However, everyone laughed.
"No. There has to be someone!" Lucy said.
"Your face gives it away!" Mira said, smiling. Walking behind Sora, she pushed Sora forwards. "Now, don't you look nice?"
(Sorry if it's so small.)
The girls complimented her, making Sora more embarrassed. Covering her eyes, she sat on the ground and kept her knees close to herself.
However, Erza helped her up. "Now, why don't we do your hair?"
Shaking her head, Sora's eyes widened. "Oh God No!" However, Erza and Mirajane sat her down and started doing her hair. Too scared to move, Sora closed her eyes awaiting the hours of torture.
Hours later, Erza and Mira were down with her hair and make-up (They applied light make-up).
Time-skip~~~~~~~~
Finally, it was time for the ball. All the wizards were amazed by the interior design and the size of it. Later, everyone started to have a merry good time.
Meanwhile, Sora stood by the food. She felt out of place, considering she's not used to these kinds of things. Tapping her foot, she crossed her arms over her chest, looking around. Sighing, she looked at the ceiling. 'Well...This is boring.' Yawning, she closed her eyes. Opening them, she saw Sting. Walking towards him, she asked what was wrong.
"Oh, Sora! Sorry about everything!" Sting apologized.
"It's okay. But you look like you need some help."
"Yeah. Have you seen Natsu? I've been meaning to talk to him!"
"Nope. Haven't seen him since the party started. But, I'm sure he's 'round here somewhere."
"Okay!" An awkward silence suddenly appeared. Nervously, Sting coughed. 'Well, this isn't awkward at all!' "Um...So...How've you been?"
"Great! How 'bout you? Pretty sure Saber is gonna be reconstructing themselves now?"
"Yeah. We're really sorry about what we did, especially me." Sting scratched the back of his neck out of nervousness. 'I should tell her my feelings while I still have my chance.'
"That's good! Good luck, then." As she was about to leave, Sting caught her wrist. Looking back, she questioned his action.
Looking down, he blushed as he coughed. "Um...Well...I just wanted to tell you...ThatIreallylikeyou!" Closing his eyes, he awaited her answer.
Blinking, Sora tilted her head. "Huh? Repeat what you said." Saying it again, she still couldn't understand him since he said it fast again. Chuckling, she face-palmed. "Slower."
"I...really like you..."
"...Well...Uh...I don't...know what to say..." Sora looked down, embarrassed. 'Well...This is awkward...' "I kinda...see you as a friend..."
Blinking, he looked down. "Oh...Okay then...Can you at least tell me who the special person is if you like someone?" He let go of her wrist.
Nervous, Sora looked down. "Well...I do like someone..."
"And they are...?"
"Your friend...Rogue..." Blinking, Sting gave her a look. Looking at him, she pointed at him. "Don't look at me like that!"
"It's just...I never thought someone, especially you, would like a guy like that."
"I don't know! There's just something about him!"
"Wwwoooowww! Opposites really do attract." Laughing, he smiled as she hit him.
"Yeah, yeah. Tease me all you want!" Pouting, Sora crossed her arms over her chest as she looked away.
Smiling, he placed his hand on her shoulder, making her look at him. "Just so you know, Rogue is outside on the balcony." With that, he started walking away.
"Sting, you'll be okay, won't you?"
Waving at her, he smiled. "Yeah. I'll be fine." However, he frowned as he looked away from her. Putting his hands in his pockets, he tried not to cry. However, there was no stopping the tears that fell from his eyes. Wiping them away, he put on a fake smile.
Meanwhile, Sora walked to where Rogue would be. Seeing him in the moonlight, she snuck up behind him, scaring him. "Surprise!"
"Sora?! W-what are you doing here?!" Rogue said, composing himself while she stood next to him, giggling.
Seeing him embarrassed, she covered her mouth. "Just wanted to see ya!"
Blushing, he covered his face as he looked away from her. "I thought you would be enjoying yourself with everyone."
"Well, here I am...Truth is, Sting told me you were here." She smiled as she looked at the starry night sky.
"Is that so?"
"Yeah." As a comforting silence passed over them, Sora frowned and looked at Rogue. "Rogue, I need to tell you something."
Looking at her, he tilted his head. Noticing her seriousness, he frowned. "What's wrong?" Before he could react, she pecked him on the lips. Blinking, he blushed upon realizing her action. Both looked away from each other, trying their best to cover their blushing faces. "Well...that was a surprise..."
"Yeah..."
"...So...Does this mean you like me...?"
Hitting his head, Sora pointed at him. "I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't, you idiot!" Pouting, she crossed her arms over her chest and looked away from him.
Chuckling, Rogue, smiled. "I see."
Looking at his face, she growled. "Hey! Don't make that smug face!"
"What smug face?~" Smirking, he crossed his arms over his chest.
"That one right there!"
And so, the night was filled with Rogue teasing her and Sora complaining. But on the inside, she was giddy with happiness and excitement. By the end of the night, they danced to the songs playing on the balcony. Before the night ended, Rogue surprised her with a kiss.
Smirking, he said, "Guess we found a happy ending to this little fairy tale."
Smiling, Sora playfully punched him in the arm. "Not an ending; a beginning."
"You do know your brother's going to kill me?"
"Don't worry 'bout him. I'll take care of that."
A\N: I finally finished this series!!! I feel so relieved!!! I refuse to make another book for this series! I kindly refuse!
However, I will make another book for a new crossover: Miraculous Ladybug and Code Lyoko! But, not many people know about Code Lyoko. Early 2000s (2001 was when I was born!) kid here! I wish people did! It's such a great show! And, it was from France too! Which is why these two would go purrfect together (see what I did there?).
My advice: go watch Code Lyoko it or read a summary. But really, go watch it. It's soo good. I recommend it! You can find all the episodes on YouTube. I found a playlist that has them in order, too! (danmon1234)
Anyways, Merry Christmas! And hope you have a happy new year!
