Walking forwards, Sting said, "Rogue, stay out of this. Just me alone will be plenty!"
"L-look at this! Sabertooth was just at a clear disadvantage! but now he wants a 2-on-1!" Chapati exclaimed, leaning into mic.
"I imagine he is that confident." Yajima said.
"This is amazing, thank you very much!" Rabian said.
"He's underestimating us." Gajeel said, glaring at Sting.
"Yeah, but do you feel this...? He's strong!" Natsu said, frowned.
Before they could blink, Sting ran forward while laughing maniacally. Eyes widening, Natsu tried blocking Sting's attack which pushed him back.
Turning to Gajeel, he slashed air towards him, enough to send him flying. While Gajeel blocked his attack, he was too late to block the ray of light sent his way.
Getting up, Natsu punched Sting, only to realize Sting caught his fist. Raising his leg up, Sting kicked him in his stomach. Next, he threw Natsu to Gajeel.
Jumping in the air, Sting yelled, "White Dragon Holy Breath!" Light erupted from his mouth, destroying the arena's floor. Natsu and Gajeel kept falling down in the ground's layers.
"Natsu!" Sora yelled. Clutching the railing, she almost made it into the arena if it wasn't for Rufus holding her back. Looking at him, she glared while he smirked. "Let. Me. Go. Now!" Struggling, she tried everything she could think of, but he simply dodged each attack and continued to hold onto her.
"Now, now. We wouldn't want a girl like you to go ruin everything, would we?"
"Shut up!" Screaming in his face, she tricked him and he finally let her go.
"You will regret that greatly."
"Yeah, yeah." Waving him off, she watched the fight commence.
"This match is still on! You can all watch it on the stadium's Lacrima vision!" Chapati explained as the Lacrima turned to the rubble.
As Natsu and Gajeel reached the end, Sting followed after them head-first. "I'm still just getting warmed up!"
Glaring, Natsu looked at Sting. "Fire Dragon's Sword Edge!" He catapulted himself in fire, punching Sting in the stomach.

However, Gajeel appeared next to him. "Iron Dragon Roar!" Sending him downwards, Gajeel blinked as he saw Sting smirk, getting out of the rubble.
While Sting bended down, he put his hands together. Opening them up, he kept his fingers connected as light rayed from his hands. "The flare of the White Dragon will purify all things!" As the large sphere made of light erupted from his hands, he said, "Holy Ray!" White rays fired at Natsu and Gajeel, curving in the process. Yelling out from pain, they were sent to the ground when it was finally over.
Tumbling on the ground, Natsu's eyes widened as he saw Sting generate light from his fist. Getting up, he tried blocking his punch after Sting appeared in front of him.
"Fly!" Sting simply said as he Natsu into a building. Appearing next to Gajeel, he kicked his face. As they tried attacking, Sting dodged and sent punches and kicks their way, laughing at the meaningless attempts.
Smiling, Sting could only think, 'Lector...I'm doing this because of my promise to you! I'm going to win this!'
~~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, a young Sting sat in front of a crying Lector. "Were they picking on you again, Lector?"
"Nobody...will believe me...When I tell them that you defeated a dragon, Sting! I'm not telling anybody any lies!"
"I know. Just ignore those idiots." Sting smirked.
"I can't do that! They're saying mean things about you!"
Chuckling, Sting sighed as his face softened. "It don't bother me none."
"Well I...I never want to hear anybody badmouthing my friend!"
Reaching his out, Sting pat his head, making Lector look at him and stop crying. "Yeah, okay! Then I'll make sure everybody knows you ain't a liar!"
"Huh?"
"There aren't any dragons left, but...there's still that guy called Salamander, right? And there's the Queen of Dragons. I'll take them down. And I'll do it when everybody's watching. That's a promise!"
~~~~~~~~~~Flashback over~~~~~~~~~~
Smirking, Sting raised his fist upwards while Natsu and Gajeel were on the ground, seeming dead from exhaustion. 'Just look at this, Lector!'
Meanwhile, Rogue looked down, frowning. "We're starting a new age. 7 years of constant practice have made us into true Dragon Slayers. The age of the old generation is over."
"You mean not even Natsu and Gajeel can...?!" Alibaba fumed.
"They're supposed to be one of the strongest in Fairy Tail...right?" Muu asked, full of hopelessness. When he heard about Sora being in Saber, he left his hope in Natsu and Gajeel.
"They have to get up...They just have to..." Morg recited to herself.
"Is this it...?" Kouen mumbled.
"I thought they would win...I guess not..." Sin deflated, sitting back in his chair.
Shaking his head, Aladdin smiled. "No! We must not lose hope."
"What do you mean, Aladdin?" they asked.
"I believe they can do it! We've seen how strong Sora is, right?" After they nodded, Aladdin continued. "Then that means Natsu just as powerful as she is!"
Meanwhile with Sora, Minerva and Saber looked towards Sora, smirking.
"Don't you see, Sora? Fairy Tail will never be at the same level as Sabertooth is." Minerva said. "So you should be glad that you're in a Guild this strong."
Clutching her fists tightly, she glared at her. "Who cares?! No matter what you say, Fairy Tail is stronger than any Guild I've seen, especially this one! I know they will overpower you, one way or another!" Turning to the Lacrima vision, she yelled, "Natsu, what are ya doin'?! Get up and show 'em what Fairy Tail is made of!"
As his Dragon force dissipated, Sting looked at Natsu, smiling. "Still...you were strong. Natsu. Gajeel."
"Are both wizards down?!" Chapati asked.
With the crowd astonished, Fairy Tail, Sora included, and Magi hoping it wasn't over, and Saber smirking, Natsu got up. "I hear ya loud and clear, Sora." Panting, Gajeel did the same.
Rubbing his aching head, Natsu dusted the debris off himself. "Now that hurt!" Turning toward Sora, he glared. "And what am I?! Chopped liver?!"
Laughing, Sora smiled at him. "Sorry! Sorry!"
Scratching his head, turning to Sting, Gajeel said, "You're better than I figured."
Seeing Sting's shocked face, Natsu smirked. "But...now I know all you tells!"
"What?!" Sting exclaimed.
"How you time your attacks; your posture when you go on defense; even your breathing patterns."
As Rogue stood behind him, Sting glared. "That's...not possible! I just used Dragon Force on you!"
Natsu laughed, smiling. "You sure did! And it was a real blast! I got pain all over my body, dang it! It's almost matched to Sora's, but not! For instance...you set your pivot foot at an 11 o'clock position when you attack."
"Naw, it's 10 o'clock." Gajeel said.
"It's 11!"
Turning to him, Gajeel glared. "We'll split the difference and say 10:30, but it ain't 11!"
"It's 11! You wanna use military time? It's 23:00!" Natsu glared.
"That'd mean he turned his foot in a full circle!"
Before Gajeel could react, Natsu pushed him in a mine cart that was magically there and unscathed from Sting's attacks. "Shaddap!"
"Whoa!" Gejeel held on the edges. Natsu found a lever and pulled it, letting the cart move. "Hey...! You jerk...! Y-you put me in..." Gajeel started throwing up from his motion sickness.
Turning away, Natsu laughed while hearing the sweet sounds of his friend being sent downwards in the tunnel.
"Wh-what's the meaning of this?!" Sting asked.
"Gajeel..." Rogue said.
Stepping forwards, Natsu sighed. "You guys underestimated us, and we gotta get payback for it." Raising his hand up, he ignited fire on his fingers that said, "Come on." "Just me alone will be plenty! Come at me, both of you at once!" Smirking, he awaited them to make a move. "Fires you up, don't it?"
Meanwhile~~~~
As Gajeel was stuck in the cart, he panted. "Just you...wait...I'm...gonna...kill...Oh no...!"

In an attempt to prevent Earths ensuing demise, it is ripped from the void by an entity known as The Totality. It is then fused with a Lost Dungeon World to increase its inhabitants chances of survival in a new, system-enhanced universe. Cade Vale barely avoids death in the first second. Will he be able to overcome the rigors of this new world and survive? Will he be able to carve a new life out of the aether for himself and those whom he loves most? ...Will he be able to avoid becoming everything he hates in order to do so? Artwork by Kayla Basciano - Instagram: vulpix1323 Inspired primarily by the systems in The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound, The Genesis System, and The New World as well as by Savage Divinity, Azarinth Healer, and Shovels in Spades in general. I haven't been able to get these worlds out of my head and I've been waiting for something to fill the void left by the hiatus of Genesis, but so far nothing has scratched that itch as much as ProfoundMagician was able to with the world he created. I figure if I'm going to be thinking about this stuff as much as I do I might as well get better at writing while playing with a number of those ideas that I love. I have a number of specifics and events I want to show in the story, but a lot of the fun is coming up with ways to branch those together cohesively. This is an attempt to alleviate my depression by channeling my creativity into a hobby. Hopefully it's as enjoyable to read as it is to write.
