《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 37

"And it's day 4, folks! Today is a game called 'Naval Battle'! The rules are simple! Every team chooses one member. If you leave the sphere of water, you're out of bounds, and you lose. The one left in the water at the end is the winner.
"But when only two are left in the water, a special rule goes into effect. The five minute rule. When only two contestants are left, for a period of five minutes, the first one that goes out of bounds becomes ranked last." Chapati explained. However, a knight walked up behind him and handed him a letter. "Oh! It seems that if Fairy Tail Team A's own Sora Dragneel will be transported in Sabertooth if they lose. Well, we'll just see if they can win or not!"
"Whaaaat?!" all of Magi yelled.
"Y-you don't think she'll really have to join them?" Alibaba asked.
"Nah! This is Sora, after all!" Muu said.
After minutes of silence, they yelled, "Sora, you better win this!"
Hearing the crowd cheer and boo, Sora glared towards Saber, crossing her arms over her chest. "Tch! I'll definitely win for sure!"
"How about I go?" Mira asked. Meanwhile, the others started to pick others or themselves.
"Nah. I wanna settle this for myself!"
"Now it's started! The competition for the 4th day!" Chapati announced.
"It's rather like underwater sumo wrestling, hm?" Yajima said.
"I am so looking forward to this, thank you very much." Scheherazade Theater Manager, Rabian said, the guest for day 4.
"And now the members of each team are entering the Arena!" Chapati said.
Entering the water, Sherria said, "I'm giving it everything I got this time!"
"I won't lose this time!" Jenny said.
"Never underestimate a mermaid!" Risley said.
"Even though water is my enemy, I ain't givin' up!" Sora said.
Laughing maniacally, Minerva placed a hand on her hip, smirking. "I am Minerva of Sabertooth! And I have arrived." Hence, the crowd cheered for her.
"I won't lose this either! I'm going to make up for my failure on the first day!" Lucy said.
"This makes a quite lovely picture! We have pretty females from every team, all in swim suits!" Chapati blushed.
"Is that all you can think about?!" Sora yelled, shaking her hand in the water towards him.
"Um, I'm here too! And wild!" Rocker sweat-dropped.
As Chapati heard the gong go off, he yelled, "Let the Naval Battle begin!"
Taking a key from her satchel, Lucy raised it above her head, smiling. "I'll kick this right off...Sorry, everybody! Open! Gate of the Water Bearer Palace: Aquarius!"
Appearing in front of Lucy, Aquarius raised her jug above her head, her face holding determination. "Ohhh! Underwater is my back yard!"
Before she could do anything, Sora swam beside her, poking her shoulder. "Neh, Aquarius, we're friends right?"
Blinking, Aquarius held her jug in front of her, smiling. "Of course!"

"Then, you wouldn't want ta hurt your friend?" Sora gave her the puppy dog eyes.
Her heart softening, Aquarius hugged her. "Of course I wouldn't hurt a girl like you!" Letting her go, she placed Sora behind her. "Now, stay behind me while I rip these people to shreds!"
Sighing, Sora shook her head. 'Sorry, Aquarius, but you're scary when you get like this...Kinda like Erza.' Shivering, she watched as Aquarius created a water cyclone.
"What is this...?!" Risley exclaimed as she was swept in the cyclone.
Swimming away, Jenny smirked. 'Then, this is my chance...' Swimming towards Rocker, she kicked his face. "Now, the first guy!"
"Wild!" Being sent out of water, Rocker hit the ground roughly.
"Quatro Puppy is the first to be eliminated!" Chapati said while Quatro's members were stunned. However, Aquarius sent Jenny out of the water.
Stopping the water, Aquarius looked bored. "This is too easy! I'm bored. I'm going to return!"
"Huh?! Why?! You're the one I most depend on in the water!" Lucy yelled.
Turning towards her, Sora and Lucy saw her blush. "A date!"
"Wait a sec-" Aquarius returned. Before Lucy could finish her sentence, Sherria knocked her towards the end. Frantically waving her arms, Lucy yelled, "Virgo! Aries!"
Appearing in a swim suit, Virgo held her back. "I am your sexy guard, Princess!"
Meanwhile, Aries held her legs while wearing a swim suit. "I'm so puffy! Please forgive me!"
Sighing, Lucy looked to see she was millimeters away from being sent out of the water. "That was close!"
"The watery battle goes on! Hang in there, Sherria! And Fairy Tail A! Why didn't you put out Wendy instead?!" Chapati asked.
"Shut up!" Lucy yelled.
With Sherria, she floated in front of Sora. "You know, you're really useless in water since your element as a Dragon Slayer is fire! This'll be easy!"
Smirking, Sora crossed her arms. "Oh? I wouldn't be so sure of that!" Transforming into her ultimate form, she appeared behind her. Before Sherria could look behind herself, Sora kicked her out of the battle. Waving, Sora smiled as she watched her get sent out, landing on her stomach. "Bye, bye!" Grabbing Risley's swim suit, she threw her out of the water.
"Look at that! Sora just sent two people out of the arena from just her strength alone!" Chapati announced.
Pouting, Sherria sat on her knees. "Aww! I really thought I had her that time!"
Smiling down, Wendy leaned close to the edge of the railing. "You did really great, Sherria!"
De-transforming, Sora turned around, only to be transported out of the water. Blinking, she turned her head. "Ehhh?" Falling on her butt, she hit the ground with her fist out of anger. "How the heck did that happen?!"
"Sora!" Lucy yelled while she saw Sora fall out of the water.
"That idiot!" Gajeel scowled.

"She's outside the arena?!" Cana said.
"How?!" Mira asked.
"She was amazing, but it's just too bad! She's out! But even so, she's third! 6 points!" Chapati commented.
Chuckling, Minerva smirked. 'Now to let poor Fairy Tail see what happen when they mess with Sabertooth.' Placing a hand on her hip, she looked at Lucy. "I would play with Sora, but I wouldn't want to hurt my little prize."
"Oi! I ain't no prize of yours!" Sora shook her fist towards Minerva. "Lucy, beat her up for me, will ya?"
Nodding, Lucy turned her attention to Minerva. "Will do!"
Watching, Sting smirked. "The Princess ain't nice ."
"I must agree." Rufus said.
"The Princess' magic should have been able to put everyone out of the arena in an instant." Orga said.
Frowning, Rogue glared at Minerva. 'Sora...'
"Well, it's only a matter time for Sora to be a part of Sabertooth." Sting said. He couldn't wait for her to be by his side.
"Just two people left, Minerva and Lucy! Now...who will come out the victor?" Chapati asked. "Sabertooth or Fairy Tail?" After a holographic countdown appeared on top of a hourglass, he said, "Now begins the five-minute rule!"
"What's the reason for this rule, anyway?" Yajime asked.
"So we can watch a tense battle to the very end! Thank you very much." Rabian stated.
"With my power, I could eject you from the arena in an instant. But that wouldn't be interesting, would it?" Using Territory, she heated water in her hand while she moved her hands in a circular motion. "So, endure this...Fairy Tail!"
Sending the blast of warm water towards Lucy, she chuckled while Lucy dodged the attack. "That's...!" Before she could react, she felt a stabbing pain on her right side. Yelling out from pain, she held her side.
"Lucy...?" Sora's eyes widened while watching this.
"What's wrong with her?" Morg asked.
"Who knows...But we'll have to see..." Kouen said.
Screaming, Lucy felt another stabbing pain on her back.
"What is that woman's magic?!" Alibaba said.
"I suppose it has to do with temperature." Kouen calculated.
"What do you mean?" Magi asked.
"She can bend the water's temperature however she wants. Once she's done, she could send powerful blasts to her opponents. It's very interesting, I must say..."
"I'm worried about her if that's it..." Aladdin held his staff tightly, praying to God for Lucy's safety.
"This time, it's weight...like it's made of lead..." Putting her hand on her head, Lucy rubbed the aching pain to bring the pain to a minimum. "I can't just stay and be her punching bag!" Bringing her hands to her waist, she tried to grab a key only to realize all her keys were gone. "Huh?! My keys...?" Searching for them, she saw Minerva chuckle while dangling them in her hand. "Huh? When did she-" Before she could do anything, she felt another immense pain send her backwards.
"Lucy! If she goes out of the arena, she won't get any points!" Chapati yelled.
Getting up, Sora rushed to the water. Unfortunately, a barrier prevented her from getting in. Banging on it, she could only watch as Lucy kept getting hurt. "Lucy! Dang it! Let me in there before it gets worse!"
Frantically waving her arms in the water, Lucy felt another aching pain as Minerva saw her almost get out of the water. Being launched from everywhere, Lucy swam towards her. "I'll..." Feeling another aching pain, she tried blocking where they were coming from. "I'll show her I can take any of her attacks!"
While watching Lucy pant, Minerva raised a hand out. "It's about time I send you flying outside."
"If I lose here...I won't be able to face everyone who tried so hard...!" Holding her left throbbing arm, she looked into Minerva's eyes. "I won't betray everyone's emotions. That's why I'll never give up."
Holding her hand up, Chapati was very confused. "Wh-what's going on? Minerva has stopped her attack. At this rate, the clock will pass the 5 minute time limit."
Blinking, Sora looked towards Minerva. Upon seeing her face, Sora's eyes widened. Looking towards Lucy, she tried to warn her. "Lucy, get out of the water now!" However, it was too late. Minerva sent a huge attack towards Lucy, causing her to scream out of agony.
"You have your head in the clouds, Fairy Tail! What kind of heart do you think we have?!" Minerva asked, sending attack upon attack on Lucy. "We are the number 1 Guild in the whole world; we are Sabertooth!"
"For sure she'll land outside now..." Chapati said while watching Lucy float close to the edge. However, Minerva used her magic to make her appear next to her. "She's disappeared?!" Appearing next to her, Minerva smirked while she heard Lucy's scream from kicking her in her side. "She was heading out at full speed! Why is she in front of Minerva?!"
"Why did she purposely bring her back in?" Aladdin asked out of concern. All of Magi were standing up, wanting to do something but knowing they couldn't.
"To torture her...!" Sin said, angered.
"Stop ittt!" Sora, who was still banging on the barrier, and Natsu, who edged closer to the railing, said. When all of Fairy Tail looked towards Sabertooth, they glared harshly upon seeing their smirking faces, chuckling. "Sabertooth!"
"Stop her! She's going to destroy the Celestial Wizard!" Arcadios commanded.
Raising his arm up, Pumpkin told them to stop. "The referee says stop!" Chapati said. Smirking, Minerva held Lucy out of the water by her throat. "The match has ended! The Victor is Minerva! Lucy hasn't been moving for a while. Is she okay?!"
"Lucy!" Natsu, Gray, and Erza moved towards the arena while Sora's eyes widened, sitting on her knees. Getting up, she ran towards Lucy.
"Get the medics! It's an emergency!" One of the staff ordered.
