《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 28

"Now all we have left for the second day of the Games is the very last match!" As the crowd cheered, Chapati heard a change in arrangements. "Hold on! Apparently, there will be a bonus match between the Dragneel twins! Well, that will be an interesting battle between siblings."
"Yes! I've been waitin' for a chance to actually see who the winner in this one would be!" Jumping around, Sora greeted Mira as she came in.
"I get the feeling I've embarrassed myself with all those outfits." Mira said.
"The hardest one to take was that last one." Gajeel said.
"You think you were embarrassed; I felt out of place in that one." Sora commented.
"Sora, don't say that! You have a wonderful body!" Mira encouraged.
"Still...I don't like showin' it off to creeps like them." Sora pointed towards the men in the audience.
Smiling down at her, Laxus said, "Now we have 12p too. That puts us even with Natsu's team."
Noticing Jellal's silence, Sora tilted her head. "What's wrong, Mystogan?"
"Nothing..."
"Mystogan was never much of a talker." Gajeel said, watching him.
"I suppose so." Mira chuckled.
'The second day is almost over...What is this supposed to mean?' Jellal thought as he looked down.
"It's like the old Mira! She's really amazing!" Natsu said.
"So it wasn't a pin-up model showdown?" Gray asked.
"It may have been a pin-up model contest, but I remember no rule disallowing the use of force." Erza smiled.
"I think Erza just said something very illogical." Wendy sweat dropped.
"That's nothing unusual." Lucy said.
"The match now will be Mermaid Heel's Kagura Mikazuchi...V.S...Sabertooth's Yukino Agria! Here we have another match between beauties!" Chapati said.
"Which do you think will win?" Fro asked Lector.
"It'll be Yukino! That's a no-brainer! What's wrong with you that you don't know that already, Frosch?!" Lector yelled.
"Fro thinks so too." Fro covered his head from Lector's fists.
"We lost points in the contest part because somebody didn't gain us any points." Olga complained. Turning away, Sting hissed towards him while Rufus chuckled.

"No...Sting was the victim of unfortunate circumstances. Had he known the race would have been staged on moving vehicles, he wouldn't-"
"Forget that. You know what it means to be on this team?" Sting asked.
"That I must not bring shame on the name of Sabertooth...and to do that, I must win."
With Mermaid Heel, as Kagura walked away from her team, her teammates cheered her on. "Be at ease." Kagura said. "I have seen the path. I know where my sword must proceed."
While Kagura and Yukino stood in front of each other, Yajima turned towards Chapati. "I don't suppose this is a pin-up contest too..."
"No...I can't say that I'd object, personally, but it doesn't seem likely..."
"With two cool girls like these, you shouldn't even hope for that!" Jason said.
"As you all know, Kagura's strength...makers her not only the most powerful wizard in Mermaid Heel, but she always ranks near the top of Sorcerer's Weekly Best Women Wizards' List!"
"I'd hate to get on her bad side." Alibaba said.
"I feel great power from her..." Morg said.
"Yeah...She seems like the type that'd be hard to beat." Muu said as he crossed his arms.
"I feel like if they had Rukh, it would be immense!" Aladdin said.
"Interesting characters, nonetheless." Kouen said.
"Facing her, in her debut match, is Yukino! But just the fact that she's representing the strongest Guild, Sabertooth, means we can expect overwhelming power!" As Chapati heard the gong, he smiled. "That signals the beginning of the match!"
"Fight well." Yukino said.
Nodding, Kagura said, "And you."
"Excuse me...Before the start, others have placed bets on their matches. Shall we do the same?"
"I beg your pardon, but that doesn't interest me."
"Could it be you fear a loss?"
Closing her eyes, Kagura held her sword in her hand. "I have no such emotions. However, when I agree to an arrangement, it is my policy to see it enacted without fail. Therefore, I never gamble for light entertainment purposes."

"Then shall we make it heavier? By placing...our lives on the line?"
"Is she crazy?!" Gajeel asked.
"That's not somethin' you should place a bet on..." Sora said, narrowing her eyes.
"It's her choice. Might as well let her do what she wishes." Laxus said.
"Is she right in the head?!" Alibaba said.
"She certainly seems confident." Kouen said.
"That girl's got some guts." Sin whistled.
Standing her ground, Kagura put her sword behind her. "If you are indeed prepared to see it through...then politeness demands I acknowledge it. Very well. Come!"
"You don't have'ta do this!" Sora yelled.
Pulling a key out, Yukino said, "It is your poor luck that you were placed against Sabertooth. Open! Gate of the Twin Ichthyoid Palace: Pisces!" Two giant fish, black and white, came out of the portal, aiming for Kagura.
'There was another...Celestial Wizard?' Arcadios thought.
"One of the 12 Golden Gates..." Mavis said.
Grabbing another key, Yukino raised it in the air. "Open! Gate of the Scale Palace: Libra!" While Pisces 'swam' in the air, Libra stood in front of Yukino. "Libra, change gravity for the target."
"As you wish!"
While Kagura was close to being on the ground, Yukino yelled, "Pisces!" Which signaled them to attack. However, Kagura dodged. Narrowing her eyes, Yukino watched her dodge every attack. "Will you force me to open it; the 13 gate?"
"The 13 gate?!" Lucy said.
"What's wrong, Lucy?" Wendy asked.
"Just as the name implies, the 12 Golden Gate Keys are 12 keys for 12 gates. But there are rumors out there that I've heard; rumors of some unknown 13 spirit that outshines the 12 Golden Gates!"
Holding her key, Yukino said, "This is an omen of very bad luck."
As Kagura ran, she held her sheathed sword. "From the moment I was born, I never trusted in luck. All is the result of one's own decisions!"
"Open! Gate of the Serpent Bearer Palace: Oghiuchus!"
"I guide myself toward my own fate! Vengeance Sword: Archenemy!" Heading towards the serpent, Kagura sliced it. "Besheathed Longsword Technique!"
Before Yukino could react, Kagura was standing in front of her. Falling, Yukino's eyes widened from shock. "No..."
"Your bet was ill considered. Now and then a mermaid eats tiger meat." Standing a distance away, Kagura kept her eyes forwards.
"T-the match...is over...And the winner: Mermaid Heel's Kagura Mikazuchi! In a completely unexpected twist, Saber tooth gets 0p!"
'I don't recall hearing of anyone like her...' Erza thought as she watched Kagura walk away.
"I-I've been...defeated...Sabertooth was..."
While Yukino cried, Kagura glanced at her. "Your life belongs to me now. Understood?"
"Yes...Exactly as you say..."
Smiling, Arcadios rejoiced with happiness. 'There is another Celestial Wizard here! It must be divine provenance! That makes success even more assured!'
'Something is strange...The second day of the Games is partly finished...but I haven't sensed that strange magic power I sense every year!' Jellal thought.
Tapping him on the shoulder, Sora asked, "What's wrong, Mystogan?"
Darting his eyes, he was conflicted on telling her. "...Nothing..."
Narrowing her eyes, she knew it was a lie upon seeing his movements. "If you say so...Just know, if you need to talk, I'm here for you." Patting him on the back, she smiled as she heard it was time for Natsu and her's battle. "Finally!"
Standing across from Natsu, she grinned. "You ready to see who the real winner is?"
"Yeah! This time, we can actually see who's the strongest out of our power!"
As Chapati heard the gong, he grinned. "Well, everyone! It's time for the Dragneels to fight each other. Who do you think will win, Yajima?"
"I don't know. They're both equal in power. By what I've heard, Sora has won more time than Natsu as they fought at Fairy Tail."
"Then we'll just have to see."
As Magi cheered for Sora, Aladdin asked, "Who do you think will win?"
"Well, we haven't really seen them fight first-hand...so, who knows." Alibaba stated with Morg nodding.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

Demonic forest fires, consumption of souls, rivers of blood and rampant carnage; none of these can get in the way of a dedicated effort to think positively.Newest chapters at: https://manatankmagus.wordpress.com/This location is likely to stay a bit behind. I am very lazy. :DDISCLAIMER: My primary purpose here is Comedy rather than badass skills and righteous adventures (although there's some of that too). The main character can be a little bumbling at times and has a much higher opinion of himself than justified. If you really dislike that kind of thing, this is probably not for you.
