《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 20

Looking towards her, Lucy glared at Flare. 'How cowardly can she get?!'
"Don't make a sound; don't make a move; don't use magic. If you disobey me, who knows what'll happen?" Using her hair, Flare whipped her multiple times. Laughing manically, she kept her pace up as Lucy screamed from pain.
Watching this, Fairy Tail didn't know what they could do.
"Lucy!" Erza shouted.
"What happened?! They were evenly matched 'til just now, weren't they?" Elfman said.
Clenching her fists, Sora harshly glared at Flare. "Somethin's up with her..."
However, while most people in the crowd were confused, others cheered for Lucy.
"What in the world is going on here?" Chapati said as he inched towards his microphone. "The fierce battle from a moment ago is now unfolding in a one-sided manner..."
Meanwhile, Lucy panted as she was laying on the ground. Watching Asuka cheer for her, she closed her eyes as she clenched her fists. She screamed from pain as Flare sent another whipping her way. 'Our goal is to be #1 in Fiore! Wendy...Gray...I'm sorry...' Sitting up-straight, she bowed towards Flare. "I...surren-"
Before Lucy could finish, Flare wrapped her hair around her mouth, sending Lucy back from the force. "Who said it was alright for you to speak, Blondie!" Wrapping hair around Lucy's wrists and ankles, she held her in the air as she screamed.
"Lucy?!" All of Fairy Tail were inching towards the railing as they heard her scream. Their eyes widened while Sora narrowed her eyes.
'Something's off, here...' Crossing her arms over her chest, Sora searched for what her gut told her to do.
"As if I'd let you surrender...I'm going to have plenty of fun with you, after all...Get it? Please don't say a word. However, I will allow you to scream." Finishing her sentence, Flare cackled menacingly as she unwrapped her hair from Lucy's mouth. "Let's see...What should I do to you first, I wonder? I guess I can strip you naked...in front of this huge audience here." Watching Lucy look away and shivering, she smiled. "That'd be interesting, but I just though of something even better...I'll place Raven Tail's brand on your body. A brand that will last for the rest of your life."

Inching her make-shift brand made of hair, she waved it in the air. "Where do you want me to place it? Hmm?" Smile widened, she looked at Lucy's hand that held her emblem. "I see. You want me to put it over your Fairy Tail crest, huh?"
"Please! Anything but that!"
Inching it closer to her hand, Flare shouted, "I told you not to speak, didn't I?!"
"No! Stop it!" With each defiance, Flare whipped her across her body.
"There's something strange about how Lucy's acting." As Elfman said this, Erza noticed Natsu disappeared. Mira also noticed Sora was missing.
"Where's Natsu/Sora?" Erza and Mira asked their teammates.
"Huh? He was just here a moment ago..." Elfman said, searching for Natsu.
With Team B, they looked for Sora. "She's gotta be here somewhere..."
"Guys...I think I found Sora, along with Natsu..." Pointing towards them, Jellal sweat dropped.
"I have good hearing!" Natsu said as Sora and him ran towards a certain area.
"I could definitely hear it just now!" Sora yelled.
Before the members of Fairy Tail, who weren't participating, could react, Natsu and Sora grabbed the hair that was too close to Asuka, and burned it to ashes.
" 'Asuka', that is!"
"Natsu! Sora!"
"Why is that in a place like this..."
Noticing her hair being burned, Flare turned towards Fairy Tail. "What?!" Alarmed, Lucy turned towards where Flare was looking at.
Bending over the railing, Natsu yelled, "Lucy!"
Standing on the railing, Sora finished, "Now's your chance!"
Struggling to get out, Lucy smiled. 'Thank you, Natsu! Sora!' Breaking the hold against her, she shouted, "Gemini!" Hence, they both hit Flare in her face and stomach. As Flare fell to the ground, Lucy nodded towards Gemini. " 'That'...we're going to do it!"
"We still haven't practiced enough."
"We don't know whether we can do it."
"In any case, change into me!"
"Understood." Doing as they were ordered, they transformed into her, except that they were in nothing but a towel.
"Why are you dressed like that!"
"We can't help it. This is how you were dressed when we copied you."

"I see...When I was getting into the bath yesterday..."
As the men in the crowd whistled with hearts in their eyes, Magi, except Kouen and Aladdin who kept a smile on his face, eyes widened, making them almost fall out of their seats. Morg and Kouen kept their composure while Sin and Alibaba had blood trickling down their nose; Muu looked away, blushing as he covered his face; and Aladdin smiled.
Closing their eyes, Lucy and Gemini held hands and summoned a Celestial spell. "Measure the Heavens, open them wide, all the stars of Heaven overflowing with light, make thyself known to me." 'With my magic power now, even with the two of us combined, I still can't bring out the same power as that time...'
Bringing their hands up, they continued. "O Tetrabiblos...for I hold dominion over the stars, complete thy aspect..." 'However...I'll show you.'
As everyone was entranced by the magic power Lucy held, Flare backed away.
Bringing their hands towards the sky, they looked towards the sky. "Release thy malevolent gate." 'This is Fairy Tail!' Standing close, they held hands as they were reached towards Flare, their backs towards each other. 'This blow strikes with the pride of the Guild!' "88 stars of all the Heavens..." Opening their eyes, light shone in them. "Shine. Urano Metria!"
Flare cowered before the power before her eyes. She saw the stars and all the things the universe held in space. When the show was over, Flare covered her face as Lucy fell backwards.
"Huh?" Confused, everyone were speechless on what happened. "It...It was erased..." Stumbling, Lucy looked at the ground.
Looking towards her Guild, Flare smirked. 'Obra! It was you!'
Falling, Lucy started to close her eyes. 'That's...why...'
However, Fairy Tail were beyond confused. "What happened?!" Erza asked.
"The magic disappeared?!" Elfman said.
"What in the world happened?! Lucy's magic didn't activate! Yajima, this is...?!" Chapati said. Looking at him, Chapati feared before the sight: Yajima narrowed his eyes as he gave a disapproving look. "Ya-Yajima?" Looking away, he saw Lucy fell forwards. "Ohh...Lucy is down! The match is over! The victor is Raven Tail's: Flare Corona!"
"Something's strange here!" Happy yelled.
"We didn't even see that redhead try to cancel the magic..." Lily said.
"It's assistance from the outfield." Mavis said as she narrowed her eyes.
"Those guys are dirty!" Romeo yelled.
Magi couldn't believe their eyes; Lucy could've won if it wasn't for that dirty, cheap tactic.
"There's even guys like them, here?!" Alibaba said as he balled up his fists.
"Guess you can't expect every place to be perfect..." Aladdin sighed. Morg nodded.
Meanwhile, Kouen, Sin, and Muu didn't say a word. They were too angry to say anything.
Looking at a smiling Ivan, Makarov held anger in his face. "Ivan...are you hoping for a brawl outside?!"
Getting up, Flare smirked. "I-it's my win. Serves you right. Take a good look, Blondie. Shameful! Unsightly! Pathetic loser!" Laughing, she pointed at her as she mocked Lucy, including the audience.
Balling her fists, Sora looked down. "Shut it, losers!" As they shook with anger, she only heard the same reaction when Natsu yelled to them with Gray and her fight in Pandemonium. Raising her fist to the air, she looked at them as she narrowed her eyes. "Once we win, you Bozos will have nothin' to laugh about! I'll make sure that you eat your words, personally!" This made Fairy Tail smile as they agreed with her. Looking towards Raven Tail, she narrowed her eyes. 'I'll definitely get payback for Lucy!'
As Lucy sobbed, Natsu walked towards her. Stopping, he stood next to her fatal form. "Don't cry, Lucy..."
"But..."
"Let's save the tears for when we win." As he smiled, he held a confident look. As she sit-up straight, she wiped away her tears as more fell. Holding his hand out, he continued. "You were amazing! Thanks to you, we realized that we could fight in this world. 0 points? That makes things interesting, right? We'll turn the tide, now."
Stretching her hand out, she smiled bitterly. "Yeah...I'm all fired up."

An old man's new world
An old man on his deathbed has many regrets, but the one thing he regrets the most is not fulfilling his sense of adventure. What would he do if given a new change? I always try to make the characters as realistic as possible by giving them lives of their own and motivations for doing different actions, but because I'm a new author, I might miss a few things, so please, feel free to tell me if something feels fake or unrealistic. I also write as a hobby, and my motivation tends to go up and down. If I'm not feeling motivated, I won't force myself to write. This means that the upload schedule might have abrupt gaps and sudden spurts.

Cheaters Always Win
Chester Everheart knew that life wasn't fair. Some were born in situations where it was almost impossible to succeed, whereas others were born with a silver spoon with everything at their disposal. A scant few were dropped into another world, filled with monsters and magic and forced to fend for themselves. The latter was a rare, somewhat ridiculous trope; but it happened to him anyway. Despite this he followed a motto that applied regardless of the dimension he was in. Playing fair is for suckers, and cheaters always win. Cheaters Always Win is a comedy-adventure that I've had churning in my head for a couple years now. I'd like to think it still has the charm that most LitRPGs have while also being unique in its own way. Every arc of the story will subsequently have a 'Level Complete' chapter that details all the stats, levels, equipment, etc. gained by the main cast of characters.
