The next day, the audience were cheering for the Guilds that made it through the Labyrinth. For Magi, they had a tough time finding seats, but Makarov asked if they wanted to sit where Fairy Tail were.

"But, we aren't apart of Fairy Tail." Alibaba said.

"Doesn't matter. You're Sora's friends, so that makes you friends of Fairy Tail." Starting to walk, Makarov stopped as he noticed they weren't following. "You comin'?"

"But-" Sin started.

"No buts!" With that, they followed, afraid to anger the 'tiny' man. Getting there, besides Kouen, they were awkwardly standing to the side. Before they could react, Kouen sat down.

"Kouen!? What are you doing?" Sin said.

"He wanted us to sit with them, so I shall do as asked."

"But-"

Before they could react, Cana drunkenly walked up to Sin and put her arm around his neck. "Hey~ pretty boy~! How 'bout we go have a drink alone together?"

Before he could respond, Aladdin catapulted himself into her chest and put his grubby hands on them. "Wow~ Miss! Your chest is really soft!"

"Aladdin!"

"Thanks!~" As Alibaba tried to get him out of her chest, she merely laughed.

Finally getting him out, he hit Alibaba on the head. Turning to Cana, he bowed. "I am so sorry!"

"Don't worry~ 'bout it, Handsome~" Winking, she walked away. Meanwhile, Sin smirked as he looked at her butt while Alibaba blushed.

"E-eh!?"

Standing next to him, Muu crossed his arms over his chest, frowning. "If you love Sora so much, how come you're checking out other girls?"

Surprised, Sin started sweating. "W-well...Seeing as you're a man, you can't help yourself."

"Right..." Looking away, Muu had the urge to punch Sin. He did hear about his terrible habits from people and, especially, Sora. 'If this guy 'loves' her so much, he would know not to do that.' Shaking his head, he said, "I'm pretty sure that's not the way to go about it. How do you know if Sora likes you? Do you think she would approve of this?"

"Well-"

Muu clenched his shirt in his fist, anger written in his face. "If this is a way to make her yours if she loves you, then it isn't the right way to go about it. You claim you 'love' her, but you don't even know how you might hurt her that way. Now I know that she doesn't need to be with a self-righteous, greedy man like you.

"Here's a warning for you: if you hurt her in any way, then I'll have no choice to keep her away from you and destroy you." Pushing him away, he stood by a pillar, fuming with steam.

Meanwhile, Mavis smiled and walked up to him. "You like her, don't you?" Jumping in surprise, he looked at her. He didn't even feel her aura.

"U-uh...Who are you?"

"I'm Mavis, the First Master!"

"How are you so young, then?"

"I'm already dead."

"Eh?! Then how can I see you?!"

"Since you're friends of one of my children, I'm allowing myself to let you and your friends to see me! Now, do you like her?"

Shaking his head, he shrugged. "I don't know. She's almost like a sister I have the need to protect."

"Hmm."

Meanwhile, as he stood there, Sin was surprised. 'Now that I think about it,...' Eyes widened, he realized his mistake. 'Hate to admit it, but he might have a point...' "Tch" Angry, he sat down next to Levy, who was reading a book.

Looking up, she blinked upon seeing his face. "H-hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, just fine."

Getting the hint, she went back to reading her book, but not before looking back at him out of concern.

Meanwhile inside, Fairy Tail Team B were getting ready.

"Guess they're really excited for this thing." Laxus said as he put on his coat.

"Who cares? It's just a game!" Gajeel said.

"Well, let's all have fun while we're at it." Mira said, smiling.

Looking around, Gajeel searched for Sora. "Hey, where's Pinky?"

"For the last time, don't call me 'Pinky'!" Hitting him on the head, Sora looked away as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Hmph! I thought since you loved Levy so much, I thought you only gave nicknames to her?" Smirking, she put her hand on her hip as he stammered out that he didn't. "That's right. I know your 'little' secret! Call me something 'small' or 'Pinky' again, then I'll spill it all to cute, little Levy. You wouldn't want that now, would you?"

Looking away, he crossed his arms over his chest as he blushed. "Whatever..."

Coming up behind her, Mira put her hands on her shoulders. "Sora, you look so cute~"

"I guess."

"You look like a ninja." Laxus said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Hmm..."

Meanwhile, Team A were getting ready.

"Listen to all that cheering..." Erza said.

"There's so many people~" Lucy gasped.

"They couldn't all be mages from Fiore...There's probably a lot of regular people here, too..." Gray said as he put hands on his hips, shirtless.

"Anyway, what's with these clothes..." Natsu said as he looked at his clothes.

"Master said we should be dressed in matching team colors." Lucy explained.

"I think it's a cute idea. I like it." Erza closed her eyes as she put her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, me too." Gray said, doing the same actions.

"Try wearing some clothes before you say that!" Lucy yelled.

"Hold on a sec...you can't possibly expect..." Elfman started sweating. "Me to wear these clothes...?" The outfit he held was too tiny for him to wear.

Laughing, Natsu pointed at him. "Those are perfect!"

"Yeah, I don't think you'd have a chance of fitting into Wendy's outfit." Lucy said.

"Speaking of which, you've gotten seriously buff." Gray said.

"By the way..." Elfman looked down. "I ended up joining you guys out of necessity in the moment...but what about Wendy? Is she okay..."

Lucy looked away.

Running into the Nursery, they saw Wendy and Carla sleeping on a bed with Lisanna standing nearby and Happy standing close to the bed as his paws were on the edge of the bed. Both had worried expressions.

"Wendy!" Natsu yelled.

"She was passed out by some bushes." Happy said.

"There's no signs of external wounds..." Lisanna said.

"Carla..." Happy started crying.

Barely opening her eyes, Wendy mumbled, "Natsu..."

"Wendy, are you okay?! What happened?!"

"I'm sorry...I can't remember very well..." However, Wendy felt a pang of pain in her head.

Before they could react, Porlyusica said, "This must be Magic Power Deficiency. Losing such a huge amount of magical power at once causes the entire body's physical strength to suffer. If she rests for a while, she should recover."

"Porlyusica?!" Lucy said.

"What are you doing here?!" Lisanna said.

"Am I not allowed to come cheer you on?"

"O-of course you are."

"A huge amount of magical power?" Erza asked.

"What could have happened...?" Elfman said.

Remembering, Wendy saw the creature in head as it attacked her. "I can't remember too clearly...but I seem to recall some black creature..." Gasping from pain, she clenched her fists.

"Don't push yourself!" Porlyusica stated.

"Everyone...I'm sorry..." As Wendy trembled, she turned towards them with tears in her eyes. "Even after...everything with the training...I can't be a part of the team..." As Everyone looked down, she looked towards Elfman. "Elfman..."

"Hm?"

"Please go in my place."

"Of course! Just leave it to me!"

However, Porlyusica threw them out. "Alright then, get out of here! She needs rest!" Turning back after closing the door, she saw Wendy hug Carla close to her chest. "Don't sulk."

"But-"

"The Great Magic Games lasts for 7 days. If you recover, you should be able to make it to the Main Event." As she made a concoction, she turned to her. "As Fairy Tail's Advising Pharmacist...I'll get you fixed up, without a doubt."

Smiling from joy, Wendy said, "Thank you, Grandine."

"Don't call me that."

As Team A walked outside, Natsu clenched his fists. "Is the culprit who hurt Wendy in this event somewhere?"

Lucy fixed her pouch that held her keys inside. "It's still too early to tell...But I think that it's very likely."

"Was their aim to try and lower our battle power, or something else?" Gray asked.

"Whatever it was, right now our only choice is to do this! Let's do our best for Wendy's part, too!" Elfman yelled.

"Let's go." Erza said.

Hearing the crowd, Chapati started. "The time has finally come, this year! The annual festival of magic! The Great Magic Games!

"I'm your announcer, Chapati Lola. And Former Council Member Yazima has joined us as commentator. Thank you for being here, Yazima."

"My pleasure."

"For day one's guest, we've invited the sparkling miss Fiore, Jenny Realight of Blue Pegasus."

"We're gonna win this year, so look out~" Jenny said.

"The team members have finally entered."

However, Yazima interrupted him. "Yes, thank you. I'll have a coffee."

"Yazima! Your microphone is still on and broadcasting!" This made the audience laugh. "First off is the Preliminary Round's 8th place. Will they be able to reclaim their past glory? Contrary to their name, they're the wild, rowdy Fairy Tail!"

As Natsu raised his fist in the air while Elfman carried their flag and the rest had walked with serious faces, the audience booed.

"They're...booing us?!" Gray said.

"Even though they've gotten last place every single year, Fairy Tail managed to claw their way through the Preliminaries. Though of course, they made it in 8th place~" While Chapati said this, Jenny waved her hands to the crowd. "With the return of 'Team Tenrou' who have been causing trouble all over the place...can they possibly become the top of Fiore?!"

Yazima smiled at them as he did thumbs up to them. "I'm so glad to see you all...Congratulations, Fairy Tail."

Smiling, Lucy looked down. Erza patted her back. "Keep your cool, Lucy." Looking towards Fairy Tail, she smiled as they cheered them on with Alibaba, Aladdin, and Morg too. "All we need is the cheering of our friends."

"Yeah..."

"Basically."

However, Natsu noticed something. "What's that...?"

"Hmm?"

"No way?!"

"Could that be..."

Eyes widened, Makarov looked to what they were looking at. Doing the same, everyone's, besides Magi who were confused, eyes widened as Mavis cheered them on. However, the crowd were very confused.

"Master Mavis?!"

Looking towards them, she smiled. "I came to cheer you on."

"You came to cheer us on?...But you..." Makarov said.

"It's fine, don't worry. Only people with the Guild crest on them can see me."

"Err...that's not what I was worried about."

"But, we're not a part of Fairy Tail. So, how..." Alibaba said.

"I consider you part of the Guild. Soooo, I let an invisible crest on parts of your body!" Turning to Makarov, she stood up. "Well...being stuck on Tenrou Island forever is really boring."

"Having the First Master here looking over us is reassuring!" Natsu said as he laughed.

"Even as a spirit..." Gray started sweating.

"Next up...is 7th place in the Preliminaries...The hounds of Hell's army, Quatro Cerberus." As Quatro came out, they screamed 'wild' while the Master told them to get first place.

"Coming in 6th place, we have the all-female Guild. The dancers of the deep blue seas, Mermaid Heel." As the members came out, Happy screamed, 'A Guild like that existed?!' while Makao and Wakaba had hearts in their eyes as their jaws dropped.

"5th place is the azure wings that sparkle in the darkness, Blue Pegasus!" Doing a pose, Jenny told them to do their best.

"4th place...the goddess of love and war's sacred destroyers. Lamia Scale." As they came out, Fairy Tail was surprised to see Jura while Lamia's Master complained that they were in 4th.

Turning to her, Shellia apologized. "It was because I'm so clumsy..." However, she tripped.

While she yelled, Lyon shook his head. "Geez...Shellia..."

Looking at him, she said, "Sorry, Lyon."

Natsu tilted his head looking at her. "Who's that?"

"Where's the usual 'love' at?" Gray crossed his arms over his chest.

"There's a person I've never seen before over there, too..." As soon as Lucy looked at Blue Pegasus, she immediately regretted her choice seeing a bunny. "...Person?!"

"Shellia is Shelly's little sister." Yuka said.

"Ooooonnn, she's really strong." Toby said.

Sitting up, Shellia smiled. "Yeah, my 'love' still isn't nearly good enough."

"I was complimenting you!"

Backing away from his face, she closed her eyes and put her hands on her cheeks. "Ah, I'm sorry, Toby!"

"Calm down." Yuka said.

Looking towards Gray, he smirked. "Gray, don't forget our promise. If we win, Juvia joins our Guild."

Gray smirked. "I don't remember promising you anything...but it's not like we're gonna lose to you, anyway."

Before Erza could react, Ichiya started sniffing her. "Okay then, in that case, I'll have a taste of Erza!"

"Quit...it~!" Stepping away, as she panicked, he merely followed her.

"Mmm~ A lovely perfume, as always."

With Morg, she felt a chill run through her spin, causing her to get goosebumps.

"What's wrong, Morg?" Aladdin asked. Pointing at Ichiya, her arm shook from Ichiya.

"He's even worse than you, Magi." Kouen stated as Sin laughed at his bluntness. Laughing nervously, Aladdin scratched the back of his neck.

Before Lucy could react, Ren was really close to her. "I'll take you, though I didn't pick you 'cuz I liked you or anything."

"You've been acting this cool these past 7 years?"

Walking towards Elfman, Eve blushed as he smiled, putting a hand on chest. "Okay, then I'll take Wendy." As Elfman gave an intimidating face, Eve started sweating. "You're really grown...in a...terrible direction..."

"Are you an idiot?"

However, Hibiki smiled as he ran towards Mermaid Heel. "I'm gonna go join Mermaid Heel!"

"You're way off their theme!" Toby yelled.

"Moving on, coming in 3rd place we have..." Waiting for suspense, Chapati grinned. "Now this is quite a surprise, in 3rd place we have a first time-competing Guild! The midnight raiders, Raven Tail!" As Raven Tail grinned evilly, Fairy Tail's eyes widened.

"Raven Tail!?"

"That's Master's kid, Ewan's Guild." Erza said.

"But...that means..." Lucy said.

"A Dark Guild!" Makarov was close to getting out, but people held him back.

"Master!"

"The Great Magic Games is okay with letting a Guild like that participate?! Well?!"

"Master, calm down!"

"I do feel a malicious force." Mavis frowned.

"Did they say 'Dark Guild'?"

"I've definitely never heard of that Guild before."

"Well, according to our official information, Raven Tail existed over 7 years ago. But had only been approved as an official Guild recently." Chapati said.

"If they're approved by the Magician's League, then that means they're not a Dark Guild, right?" Yazima asked.

"Dang that Ewan...He's messing with me...How did he pull this off..."

Among Raven Tail, 'Ewan' smirked. "I've waited patiently and quietly, Father. All for this very day."

"Fairy Tail." The one in the mask said. "That little girl was our way of saying hello."

The black creature jumped on his Master's shoulder, and showed an image of Wendy falling off.

Enraged, Natsu furrowed his brows. "You're the ones...who did that to Wendy...I won't forgive you..."

"Remind me to never get on Fairy Tail's bad side..." Alibaba shook from fear. It was like meeting Sora's rage all over again.

Magi was confused. "If they're a Dark Guild, why would the League let them compete? Wouldn't they just cheat?" Aladdin asked.

"Yeah. Considering they were the ones who tried to capture Lucy, I don't think this'll turn out great..." Sin calculated.

"Enjoy the festival." Maskie said.

"Ewan..." Makarov said.

"There's only 2 teams left that made it through the Preliminaries." Chapati said, confusing the audience.

"It looks like another powerful Guild is still hiding." Gray said.

"I wonder if they have anything to do with that mysterious energy Jellal mentioned?" Erza said.
