《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 11

As Natsu yelled out from the excruciating pain he was under, he put his hands around his neck from the burning sensations. Lucy and Gray backed away from shock.
"I think...I have to take my clothes off. Will he still be able to draw a magic circle?" Gray asked.
"You take your clothes off anyways!" Sora said.
"Well...should we be worried about this?" Lucy asked.
Ultear held her crystal ball in her hands, looking at it. "Come on! It's not so easy to bring out someone's true potential." Natsu cried out more.
Sora agreed with her but she couldn't help to worry for her big brother. "Fine. But you better hope anythin' other than pain comes out of this!"
"He'll be fine."
"Easy for you to say." Sora mumbled.
Lucy put her right hand to her mouth. "Hey...you sure it's okay?"
"Exactly how painful is it?" Gray asked.
Meredy turned towards him, smiling. "Wanna try a sense link?"
"Heck no!"
'Oh Meredy, I see you've loosened up a bit.' Juvia smiled.
Levy held her hands close to her chest, looking fearful. "Do we...have to go through that, too?"
"I wanna cry." Wendy said.
"I-it doesn't concern us. Let's go back." Jet and Droy started walking away.
Huffing, Natsu started crawling. Happy was worried for him. "Natsu..."
"Speaking of which, where is Erza?" Carla searched for her.
"She just left with Jellal." Happy explained.
Sora put her hand on her mouth, smiling mischievously. "Oh~ That sounds suspicious~ Hey Happy, you wanna go see what they're up to?"
"Just the two of them?!" Juvia said. Grabbing onto Gray's arm, she dragged him with hearts in her eyes. "Juvia wants that, too!"
"You want what?"
'Oh...seems the relationship hasn't gone anywhere yet.' Meredy sweat dropped.
Lucy looked towards where they left. "Erza..."
Meanwhile~~~~~~~
As Erza stood watching a turtle, Jellal sat on a rock, looking down.
"Jellal, You said you got all your memories back, right?"
"Yes."
"Which means, the thing about Simon..."
The scene replayed in his head. "...I killed him."
"What about Nirvana?" She turned towards him.
"I remember that as well. It feels strange to remember things I did...while I had amnesia."
"Can I still treat you the same as before?"
"I would be glad if you could. But, about Simon...I understand if you don't wanna have anything to do with me."
Not once did he look at her. Smiling bitterly, she furrowed her eyebrows.
Continuing, he kept his head down. "I've prepared myself for death if you would like to seek revenge for Simon."
"You think Simon would want me to do that?" She watched the sun set. "Setting up your own Guild to eliminate all the Dark Guilds...is something you did to redeem your sins. You'll see it through right?"
"To be honest, I'm not quite sure."
Turning towards him, you could see anger in her face. "What did you say?!" Fed up, she walked towards him.
"I was trying to redeem my sins when I founded Crime Sorciere. But now, I realize no matter what I do, I can never make up for the things I did in the Tower of Heaven. If that's the case, what am I doing all this for? No matter how hard I try, I still can't find an answer. Perhaps, I'd be better off dead." Before he could continue, Erza slapped him. After the surprise wore off, he kept his neutral face.

"Nonsense! Coward!"
"I'm not as strong as you are-"
"So you're just gonna quit living because you're not strong enough? Besides, that's not true! Being alive...is a sign of strength! You're not the same Jellal as before! Not the one who struggled to survive!"
"Maybe you're right."
"You Jerk!" Grasping his clothes, she starting slipping.
"Erza!"
As they fell backwards, tumbling behind the rocks, they finally stopped but with Jellal on top of her. Hands on both sides of Erza's head, he managed to not collapse on her. Shocked, they had no words.
"You're always right." Jellal said after the shock wore off.
"No, that's not true..." Erza smiled a little. "I tried really hard to stay alive no matter how clumsy I was. That's all."
"Erza..."
She put her hand on her eyes. "I don't think we can see each other from now on..." As she frowned, she shed a tear. However, Jellal started to come closer. As she put her hand in front of him to stop him, he clasped it in his and moved it towards the ground. "Jellal..." Lifting her head, she trembled and shed another tear. While they came closer, she remembered all the times Jellal was in the past.
As they were about to kiss, Jellal pulled her away from him and looked away, alarming her. "I can't...I have a fiancée."
Shocked, she got a distance away from him. "Ah, no...I, err...I didn't mean to..."
"No...I just...err...sorry..." Jellal looked down, blushing.
Shaking, she smiled. "Oh, I see! So, then congrats! I...had no idea...Yeah, right...It has been 7 years...yeah." Seeing his blushing face, she smiled warmly. "She must be very important to you, right?"
"Ah...yeah..."
"So, she's your reason for living."
"I think so..."
Time skip~~~~
As everyone was inside a shack, trying to overcome the pain with their screams and struggles, Sora and Erza stood outside, speaking to Crime Sorciere.
"No one can move now, thanks to you." Erza crossed her arms over her chest, chuckling.
"At least we'll al be stronger!"
"How come you two don't feel anything?" Ultear sweat dropped.
"Guess we can stand more pain than them." Sora shrugged.
Pulling his hood on, Jellal smiled. "We can't stay in one place for too long due to the nature of our Guild. We're leaving now."
"If you get any information about the mysterious magical force in the Grand Magic Games, let me know by carrier." Meredy said.
"Will do!" Sora raised her hand in the air.
"I think I should do it." Erza said.
"What does that mean?!"
"Well..."
Sora looked away, pouting. "Erza~"
"Regarding the Games, I'll help you secretly. Don't worry, just try your best!" Meredy said.
"Though, I really want to watch the Games." Jellal said.
"In disguise?" Ultear asked.
"Forget it." As they walked away, Jellal looked back at Erza and Sora. "See you...Hope to see you again, Erza. Sora."
Meredy waved as she walked forwards. "Goodbye!"
Ultear stopped in her tracks, looking at them. "Say 'hi' to everyone for me. Take care of Gray, please."
As they walked away, Erza sighed, smiling. Sora smiled mischievously.
"Ooh~ I think I saw Jellal only look towards you!"
"H-he was not; he looked at both of us!"
Sora made an X emoting with her arms. "Nope! He was definitely looking at you. Could it be? Does he have feeling for the Mighty Erza?!" As Erza blushed, Sora laughed. "So it is true! And who knows, you might have feelings for him." Getting no response, Sora kept teasing her.

Meanwhile~~~~
Crime Sorciere was sitting in a cave with a fire, all sitting close to it.
"I hope the members of Fairy Tail will be alright." Jellal said.
"Those guys will manage to survive. So, I have high expectations for them." Ultear said.
"Yeah. So, Jellal." Putting meat in her mouth, Meredy leaned forward. "Why did you lie and tell her that you had a fiancée?"
"You heard that?!"
Ultear smiled as she watched him. "Isn't it better to be honest with yourself? Or did you decide to continue punishing yourself?"
" 'Punishment' is the rule for Crime Sorciere, isn't it? We all know that I can't fall in love with people who walk in the light. I only hope that Erza can be happy forever."
Meredy tilted her head. "...Even so, why didn't you come up with a better lie?"
"It's really bad. You think that's cool?" Ultear said.
Back with Fairy Tail, Erza was standing outside while Sora was with Natsu, and put his head on her legs, smiling and combing through his hair.
Erza smiled and sighed. 'Fiancee...you're such a clumsy liar. Just like before...It's not that bad. This is our answer...'
As Happy was drawing something in the sand with a stick, he told her to look. Coming over, she saw a broken heart. Trying to keep in his laughs, Erza kicked him in the sky.
Elsewhere~~~~~
Waking up, the Magi crew saw a forest surrounding them. Blinking, they stood up. They asked where they were but remembered everything. Before they could react, Mira's figure was pixelated, making them see through her while she smiled.
"M-Mira?!" As Sin said this, he stumbled backwards. "What are you doing here?"
"I forgot to tell you; all your friends will see what you're seeing in a crystal ball! Also, Sora is close by. Well, ta ta!" Waving goodbye, she went back to her universe.
"Do we ever catch a break?" Alibaba bended over, sighing. "Well, I guess we should look for Sora."
Nodding, everyone wondered around for a way to Sora, after all, she knew this place better then them.
Sin, however, made Muu and Kouen stay in the back of the group. Narrowing his eyes, he said, "I don't want you two getting lovey-dovey with Sora. That's my job!"
Kouen kept his neutral face, which was emotionless. However, he narrowed his eyes. "I see no reason that I cannot have her. Perhaps, a challenge will suffice?"
"What kind of challenge?"
"One where Sora will have a choice between us; if she falls in love with one of us, the other has to give up."
"Deal!" They shook hands.
Muu sweat dropped. "Uh...don't you think we shouldn't think of Sora as a prize?"
"Oh. Playing the innocent, nice guy are we? Well, we'll see who she chooses!" At this, Sin gave them nicknames. Walking away, he left them.
Muu shook his head. However, Kouen looked at him. "You are also in the deal."
"Wha?! Why include me?"
"I can see you are interested in her."
"Oh. And you are? I have a feeling you're only interested in her because she comes from another world with different powers!"
"May well be. But, I will challenge both of you for her hand in marriage." Walking away, he caught up with the others.
Muu sighed, bending over. "Already thinkin' of marriage...Sora...I hope you teach them a lesson..." Standing up, he caught up to them. As he looked down, he mumbled, "Maybe I should get into the challenge so I can protect her from them two..."
With Fairy Tail~~~~
As Sora was holding a tired Natsu's head in her lap, she combed through his hair. However, she suddenly smelled familiar scents. Standing up, she forgot about Natsu, and walked outside. Before she opened the door, she heard him fall to the ground.
"Sorry Natsu..." Wincing, she found a blanket and a pillow, and placed them where they should be. Going outside, she started smelling the air.
"What's wrong, Sora?" Erza came up to her, putting her hand on her shoulder.
"I need to go to them..." Without anymore words, she started her journey.
"Sora...?" Erza followed her. Catching up to her, she walked beside her. "Sora, what's wrong?"
Sora stopped in her tracks, looked at Erza, and frowned. "There're people that I need to see."
"Alright, but I'm coming with you."
Thinking, Sora nodded. "Alright. But, don't hurt them. I don't know if they're here, but the scent smells familiar..."
"Okay. But, if they aren't the ones who you really are looking for, then, that begs the question..."
"I know..." Nodding, Erza followed Sora.
Finally, Sora stopped in her tracks after a while. "Sora-" As Sora saw her eyes widen, she looked towards what the problem was. Looking at the mysterious people, she saw they were walking towards them without noticing Sora and her.
"Sora has to be here!" Alibaba said.
"Well, Mira said she was around here, somewhere..." Mor stated.
As they continued to talk, Aladdin stopped in his tracks. "Guys..."
"What is it?" Sin asked.
Pointing, Aladdin made them look towards his line of sight. However, everyone's eyes widened, aside from Kouen who, even if he was surprised, kept his façade.
"Sora!" they all shouted, aside from Aladdin.
Running towards her, Sin was about to hug her but a sword was held close to his neck. Gulping, he stopped moving and followed to where the handle was. Looking at Erza, he was surprised to see her intimidating face.
"Who are you?"
"U-uh Miss...my name is Sinbad and-"
"I don't know you."
Shaking her head, Sora put her hand on Erza's wrist. "Erza! They're friends! I told you not to act too rash."
"Fine." Making the sword go back into her inventory, she surprised the Magi crew.
"How did you do that?!" Alibaba pointed at her.
"It's my magic." Looking at Sin, she bowed to him. "I apologize. I acted too rash against you. If you're Sora's friends, then you are my friends.
"That's more like it!" Sora smiling, she patted her back after Erza straitened herself. "At least ya didn't cause blood to fall!" As she continued to talk to Erza, a thought suddenly occurred to her. "Hey. What are you guys doin' here?"
"Well..." Alibaba wanted to tell her, but thought against it. "Let's just say we wanted to see your world."
"What do you mean by 'your world'?" Erza raised one of her brows.
"They're from a different world! The one I told you about."
"I see." Looking towards them, she smiled. "Well, then, I welcome you to our world."

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.
