《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 8

'It'll begin in another 3 months...the one great event that decides the number 1 Guild in Fiore! The Great Magic Games; this is a festival featuring many different kinds of magic competitions. In the span of 7 years, our Guild has become the weakest in the Kingdom of Fiore. In order to make Fairy Tail the number 1 Guild in Fiore...we resolved to enter the Great Magic Games. 'However, to us of the Tenrou gang, perhaps those 7 blank years...have left us unable to match up with the battles of these times. There are 3 months until the festival. Therefore, we...held a training camp by the sea!' As Lucy jumped in the air, she raised her arms in the air. Meanwhile, everyone was either walking around and looking at the beach or doing the exact same thing as Lucy, meaning Levy.
"You guys! We didn't come here to play!" Carla said in her bikini with snorkeling gear on.
"That's right!" Happy wore a hat, covering his ears, and a tube around him to float with.
Droy sweat dropped. "Dressed like that...even if you say that..."
"Of course we understand..." Erza started blushing with excitement. "Having some variety is key!" She stood in the water. "Playing well, eating well, sleeping well-"
"You totally left out the main point of training..." Jet sweat dropped.
"By the end of your training camp..." Droy started.
"At the very least, we'll have you be able to defeat those of our level-" Before Jet or Droy could react, Gray and Natsu ran, leaving dust behind the, and sending Jet and Droy flying. Natsu and Gray did many battles.
But the last..."Sun-tanning battle!" Afterwards, they were tired and stretched. "Ahh...let's go back to the lodge and sleep..."
"They're totally enjoying themselves..." Jet trembled.
"Ahh, well...let's be lenient for the first day, at least..." Droy shook.
While Juvia dreamed about Gray, Wendy was reading the papers she was given. "Umm...this...how should this be read..."
With Lucy and Levy, they were in the water. As they stood, Lucy held a ball. "Huh? Now that you mention it...of the Tenrou group that came to the training camp, this is it...?" Lucy started searching around for the rest of the members.
"It seems like the others are having their own training camp somewhere else...It seems like Mira's group went to the mountains...(Which included her siblings and Cana) Laxus and his crew went somewhere else as well..." Levy explained.
Lucy started poking her chin. "Hmm...I feel like we're forgetting someone..."
"Gajeel and Lily..." Happy said.
"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen them lately..." Carla said.
"They said it was some sort of secret training! I tried to go along with them, but they turned me down..." Levy's brows furrowed.
Lucy put her left hand over her mouth, smiling. "You tried to go along...? Oh...Levy...?" She laughed.
"N-no...! It's not like that at all!" Lucy merely laughed. Annoyed, she started splashing her. "Come on already! Give me a break, Lu!"
Meanwhile, Jet and Droy were having dirty thoughts as they saw the girls in their bikinis...
"Ahh, well...it's the first day, after all...This is fine, right?" Droy asked.
"That's right..." Jet said as they both blushed.
Back with Lucy, she still pondered the person they forgot. "But I still feel like someone's missing."

"Now that you mention it..."
As they pondered, Erza walked up to them. "Have either of you seen Sora?"
"Sora...? No. Why do you ask?"
"She's not in sight." Walking away, Erza went back to her quest. Looking around, she had the faintest feeling of going in to the lodge. Walking there, she went inside seeing Sora in her daily clothes sitting on a chair with her eyes closed. Standing before her, she put her hands on her hips, clearly irritated. "What are you doing here?"
Opening her eyes, Sora had a chill run through her spine. "E-Erza...what a-are you doin' here?" She started to laugh nervously.
"I thought I would find you on the beach in your swimsuit. But, instead, I find you inside, sleeping, in your clothes not appropriate for swimwear. Mind explaining?"
"Well...uh...you know...yeah...that thing! So, yeah..." Sora stood up and inched away.
"Oh...? I see. Well...in that case...shouldn't you be done with this 'thing'?" Erza started to walk towards Sora, intimidating her by the minute.
However, luck wasn't on Sora's side. Unfortunately, she back into a corner. "Um...not really." She waved her hands in front of her, frantically.
"I see. Then, how much longer on this 'thing'?"
"I-it's gonna take all day."
"How important is it?"
"V-very!"
"Wouldn't you want someone to help you get it done quicker? I could help with that."
"Uh...I'm good! So...yeah...I'll be going now." Attempting to escaping Erza's wrath, she tried to walk around her, but to no avail. Before she could react, Erza threw her over her shoulder. "Wha...Erza! Put me down!" Sora pounded her fists against Erza's back.
"No can do. You will borrow one of my swimsuits and play in the sea."
"But-"
"No buts. Now, off to my room!"
Time skip~~~
Finally reaching Erza's room, Erza threw Sora on her bed. As Sora watched her get out various swimsuits, all of which were too revealing to Sora, she tried opening the door without her noticing, but Erza closed the door quickly.
Smiling wickedly, Erza bended over Sora. "Now, how about we try on those swimsuits?"
"Yes Ma'am!" After Sora saw all the swimsuits, rejecting many, Erza pulled out one that caught Sora's eyes.
Though Sora liked it, she wouldn't admit it.
Erza caught her stare and took it in her arms. "Now, I think this will suffice. Let's get you changed, shall we?" As Sora struggled, Erza dragged her into the bathroom and stood at the door, preparing to close it. "You better get into that swimsuit, or I will force you." Closing the door, she waited 30 minutes, of which hearing no sound made to dress in clothes. "You wouldn't want me to come in there and dress you myself, would you?"
"N-no!"
"Then change!" Hearing frantic steps, Erza smiled. When she saw the door opening, she frowned; Sora made no attempt of changing.
"I change my mind! I'll just go like I am." As Sora was about to hand over the swimwear, Erza pushed her inside the bathroom and slammed the door shut. Shaking, Sora walked backwards, falling into the bathtub in the process. "N-now Erza...you know we're friends, r-right?"
"Strip."
"Huh?"
"You heard me. Do as I say, or I'll do it for you."
Thinking over her options, Sora gulped. "A-alright, but get out!"

"No. Now, change!" Sora looked at her pleadingly. Sighing, she closed her eyes. "If I do, will you truly change?"
"Y-yes."
"Fine, but you better do it!" Closing the door, Erza huffed. After a few minutes, Sora opened the door. "Now, was that so hard?"
"Maybe." Sora looked away, blushing out of embarrassment. "Can we just go and get it over with?"
"Yes."
Time skip~~~~~~
As Erza dragged Sora to the beach, she left Sora and went to lay on a beach towel.
Sora stood there awkwardly; she kept fidgeting with the bottom half. "Erza...I'll get ya back for this!" she mumbled. Walking in towards the water, she sat down to where anyone who saw was only her head and eyes. Bubbles of water kept coming up on the surface.
Noticing her, Lucy waved for Sora to come to them. "Sora! Over here!" As Sora, hesitantly, came over, she greeted them. "Where were you?"
"In the lodge."
"What's wrong?" Levy noticed her attitude.
"Let's just say I had a rough time coming here."
"Was it Erza?"
"Yeah...How'd ya know?"
"She asked us where you were."
"Well, thanks Luce!"
"Uhh...what did I do?"
"...Nevermind..." Sora shook her head. "Just let me stay in the water away from Erza." Lucy and Levy looked at each other, shrugging. "Anyways, where's the rest of the crew?"
Lucy explained. "And, Levy even asked to go along with Gajeel!"
"Oh~ That sounds interesting. So Levy~...is there a certain reason ya wanted to go?~" Sora wiggled her eyebrows.
"I-it's not like that!"
"Sure it isn't~"
While Levy tried persuading them, she blushed. Splashing them both, all three smiled.
Later~~~~~
While watching, Lucy sucked in her breath. 'But it's going to be proper training fro the afternoon onwards!' She crisscrossed her legs, meditating with Capricorn. 'In my case, I want to do something about my weakness of always having my magic power run out at crucial junctures...'
"Training your willpower will raise your magic capacity as well. Fell the earth...feel the wind...feel the energy...feel it with your skin. And then align your respirations to become one with nature." As Lucy sucked in and out, magic started forming around her. "That's it, Miss Lucy. Keep going." As she struggled, she started sweating. "Please release a little more magic power..."
However, she merely fell backwards, panting. "It's hard..."
"Miss Layla also honed her stellar spirit magic with the same kind of special training."
Looking up, she said, "Hey...have you heard of 'the one magic'?" Sitting up, she kept her eyes upon Capri. "It's the magic at the root of all magic...right? The one Hades was talking about...the one he wanted to obtain...I...heard about it before from my Mother." Looking down, she averted her eyes. "Zeref, the great world of magic...it didn't have anything to do with dangerous things like that..."
"...What do yo mean?"
"If...'the one magic' that Mother talked about was real...Hades back then could never have obtained it...he couldn't even have conceived of it...It's not something that can be obtained so easily...and while indeed it's a formidable power that can triumph over anything, at the same time it's an incredibly fragile power as well...Mother said that...all magic began from love..." Closing her eyes, she opened them and put her right hand over her chest, smiling. "Therefore, I think that 'the one magic' is 'love'."
Capri smiled. "That's quite a splendid interpretation."
"If only Hades had been able to think like that as well...perhaps he wouldn't have veered towards the depths of darkness either..."
Meanwhile~~~~
As many practiced their magic, Sora, Natsu, and Happy practiced with strength. Natsu and Sora tied boulders around their waist, running, while Happy was trying his best to keep up.
"Stronger!"
"Aye Sir!"
"Stonger and stronger!"
"Aye, aye Sir!"
"I'll shut up everyone that looks down on our Guild!" As Natsu said this, Happy was really behind.
"I'll show you the strength of Fairy Tail!" Sora yelled.
"We both will!"
"Hey Natsu!"
"Yeah?"
"Let's make this a race! First one there gets to clean up the mess in the other's room."
"Okay!"
Time skip~~~~
At the Sana, the girls and guys were separated. Unfortunately, the boys were trying to get a peek of the girls.
"Let's have a look, shall we..." Natsu smirked, blushing.
"Ahh well...it's a promise, after all..." Gray blushed.
"That's not fair, Natsu! Don't go ahead of us...!" Jet said.
"Ugh...I ate too much~" Droy crawled.
On the girls side, Erza's eyes were closed. "As expected...the bath after moving your body around is on a whole different level..."
"It can take away all the fatigue, huh..." Wendy said.
"It's said that the water here beautifies the skin..." Carla said.
"Uh...by the way, why is Happy here?" Levy covered her chest, blushing.
"It's because I'm a cat!"
" 'sides, Happy isn't that bad, right Happy?" Sora held Happy in the water.
"Still..."
"Juvia is embarrassed..." Juvia hid behind a rock.
"Look! The stars are beautiful..." Lucy pointed out, smiling. All the girls looked at the stars.
"I wonder if everyone else is hard at work training right now..." Levy said.
"They might be watching the stars like us..." Wendy said. It was true.
"I mean, we're all connected to one sky..." Sora said.
"I have to try harder too!" Lucy smiled. Everyone agreed.
However, Erza fest presences. Throwing rocks at the bamboo fence, she said, "Who is it?!"
Alerted, Lucy covered herself in a towel. "What's wrong, Erza?"
"No...I thought I felt some suspicious aura...Was it my imagination?"
"Maybe they came to peep on us...?" Levy covered her chest, shaking her head.
"T-they're the worst!" Wendy blushed and covered her chest with both hands.
"Gray-sama wouldn't do something like that!" Juvia stood up.
"Juvia, he's a guy though..."
"He wouldn't do a shameful thing like that!"
"But..."
However, Erza started walking to the fence. "Natsu and the others? I wouldn't mind...Let's call them...Why don't we get in together?"
"No way!" Lucy blocked her way as she held an arm over her chest.
On the boys side, Natsu, Gray, Jet, and Droy sat down while their heads hurt from the force of Erza's throw.
"I-I thought I was going to die..." Natsu said.
"I shouldn't have gone along with you..." Gray crossed his arms over his chest.
"Weren't you pretty excited as well?" Jet said.
"Oooooh..." Droy moaned.
"How did you get stuck there?!"
However, Sora smirked. "Natsu~ Remember: you have to clean my room! I made it especially dirt for you! After your little attempt, I wanna see it spotless, now!"
As everyone asked Natsu and her what that meant, they explained with Sora laughing and Natsu beating the cement. "I'll beat ya next time, Sora!"
"Sure ya will~"
