《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 5

A/N: Hey guys! I'm gonna go to Louisiana for Spring Break to visit my grandmother and I don't know when we will arrive at her house on Sunday. So, I'm gonna make that up to you!
~~~~~~~~~~
"Apparently, they've come back." said the blonde haired one.
"What are you talking about?" said the black haired one with his back turned.
"The core members of Fairy Tail that disappeared 7 years ago."
"I'm not interested."
Blondie turned to him, smirking. "Don't lie to me, Rogue. Especially when you looked up to Natsu-San that much."
"That was a long time ago." Blackie looked towards the sky. "What about your crush on his sister? You always did want to be with her and protect her."
"S-shut up! Don't tell me you didn't have a crush on her either!" Blondie pointed at him as he stood up, brows furrowed as he blushed.
"T-that's in the past!" Rogue blushed
"Sage Aug, thank you for your work today at the Council." said Laharl.
"Mm."
"Have you decided on the Guild Trade Agreement Reform proposal?" said Doranbalt.
"More importantly, you all should have heard by now, haven't you?" said Aug.
"I assume you're talking about Fairy Tail's core members returning?" Laharl said as Doran looked down. "Looks like that's one load off your chest, right, Doranbalt?"
"I..."
"The magic world will probably get stirred up again." Aug said.
Brows furrowed, Doran looked down. 'I had already discarded them from my thoughts.'
"7 years ago, when Acnologia and Zeref were sighted..." Aug looked towards the garden. "I apologize...their whereabouts are still unknown. Our Reconnaissance Squad needs more personnel assigned to it. These 7 years have been too quiet. "We've been keeping watch of Sabertooth's exploits...but Tartaros has shown no suspicious activity. The same goes for the remnants of Grimoire Heart. There is also no new information on Zeref and Acnologia." He looked down, sighing. "But the circumstances of this silence is strange...it's almost like a never ending night. Perhaps day is about to break through the night? Will it be the magic world's great sunrise?"
Doran looked up. "Are you saying the cause of this...is Fairy Tail...?"
Before Doran or Laharl could react, Aug laughed. As he walked away, he left them in confusion. "Expecting that much out of Fairy Tail in spite of how much dislike I have for them...I've gotten older, too, haven't I..."
As Lucy was getting ready in her apartment, she smiled. 'Two weeks have passed since our return from Tenrou Island. Throughout the country, rumors of our return...have spread like wildfire. As expected, Sorcerer Weekly rushed in quickly to get the scoop on the details. As if to make up for 7 years of lost time, everyone parties their hearts out every single day. I've also started to work things out with my Dad, little by little. Everyone is here. Right now, to me that is happiness.'
At the Guild, Natsu, Romeo, Lucy, Sora, Wendy, and Gray were seated at a table while Happy and Carla stood on it. Erza, Bisca, and Alzack stood near it while Asuka played with Lily.
"Sabertooth?" Natsu asked.
"A tiger with sabers for teeth...Sabertooth, get it?" Gray asked Natsu.
"Tenma and Lamia even disregard them...they're currently the strongest Mage Guild in Fiore." Romeo explained.
"I've never heard of them." Gray crossed his arms over his chest.
"They weren't anything special 7 years ago." Alzack said.
"You're saying they grew suddenly over these last 7 years?"
"Sounds like they stole the glory while they had the opportunity." Sora said.
"I didn't even think you could use such a big word, Sora." Gray said, amused.
"Hey! I'm not that stupid! I'm not like Natsu!"
"What's that s'pposed to mean?!" Natsu stood up.
"Just that ya don't have a very big brain!" Sora pointed at him.
"Tch~" He sat back down. "I can be smart if I wanna be." Natsu looked away, pouting.
"Suuure~"
Turning around in his chair, Max frowned. "It started when their Guild Master recruited five very strange, but very capable mages."
"5 people alone made that much of a difference?"
Natsu and Sora smirked, looking at each other. "Ohh? I like his style."
"So what rank does that leave our Guild in now?" Wendy asked.
"You really wanna know?" Happy asked.
"You haven't heard yet?" Carla crossed her paws over her chest.
"Ehh?" Wendy looked between the two of them.
"Absolute last place." Romeo said.
"A super tiny weak little Guild." Alzack said.
"The weakest Guild in Fiore." Bisca said.
"Ahh, I'm sorry for asking!" Wendy coward, putting her hands on her head.
Laughing, Natsu put one foot on the table. "Sound great! How interesting!"
"Wha?" Gray looked at him, annoyance written on his face.
"I get what ya mean, but how is us bein' in last place great?!" Sora hit him on the head.
"Oww!" Natsu rubbed his head. "You get it, don't you?! I'm looking forward to the chance to try and climb our way higher! How many opportunities like that do you get?! I'm getting all fired up now!" He pumped his fist in the air, blushing with excitement.
"Ah, geez." Gray looked away as Lucy laughed nervously.
"Natsu-Nii is just the same as ever..." Rome smiled as Alzack and Bisca laughed.
"Yeah, I'm excited, too!" Wendy said.
Suddenly, Cana came up to them. "Hey, have you guys seen Gildarts...?"
"What now? Are you lonely you aren't next to your Daddy for a second?" Gray joked.
"Jerk!" Sora hit him on his head.
"Hey, I was only kiddin'!" Gray suddenly didn't look so happy; he realized his mistake. Looking towards Lucy, he started to sweat. "Ahh! Sorry...!"
Lucy waved him off as she smiled. "No, it's fine...don't worry..."
However, Juvia stood behind a wooden pillar with her grip tightening. 'He was noticed by Gray-Sama?!'
Erza put her hands on her hips. "If you're looking for Gildarts...then Master...er...I guess I have to call him Makarov-San now..." She looked down.
"I think Master is fine." Lucy said.
"He went with Master to the old Fairy Tail building." Before Erza could react, Cana smirked as she dashed away.
"Alright! I'd better take this chance to go do my work!" She grabbed a barrel of alcohol on the way.
"Kana's devotion towards Gildarts is really amazing, isn't it...?" Happy said.
'What about your devotion to Carla...' Lily thought as Asuka petted his head.
"That's the most powerful strength of this Guild." Carla blushed with happiness. "What a weird Guild..."
As Gildarts followed Makarov downstairs, Gildarts walked behind Makarov. "Is it all right to be entering on our own? This building's been foreclosed, hasn't it?"
"It's going to be taken back soon."
"But, I had no idea...there was an underground passageway this huge under the Guild..."
"Because no one was told about it."
"But why?"
Finally at the end of the stairs, Makarov stood in front of a door. "Well...you'll know when you see it..." This caused Gildarts to become confused. Taking ahold of the handle, he opened it. "Behold." It was a room with the Fairy Tail emblem on the ground with another door across from them.
"W-what is this place..." As Gildarts looked around, Makarov walked to the other door and made hand signals in the air. Appearing on the door were enchantments, shocking Gildarts. As the door opened, Gildarts couldn't believe what was before his eyes.
"Our Guild greatest secret: Lumen Etoile."
As Makarov stood there gazing at the weapon, Gildarts backed away, hyperventilating. "W-what is this...how can this be..."
"This is what Mavis wrote of Fairy Tail's true nature..."
"I-I can't even find words to..." Gildarts started to sweat profusely.
"That's perfectly natural. When Purehito showed this to me...I was at a loss for words, as well."
"What is something like this doing beneath the Guild...and more importantly, why are you showing it to me?!"
As Makarov turned towards Gildarts, he was serious. "Because you're going to be the next Master of Fairy Tail...Gildarts."
At the ruins, Sting sat on cement while Rogue stood up, facing away from him.
"Man, talking about 7 years ago really makes me nostalgic...I was this small back then." Sting put his arm out to point out his height. "Ah! You were Gajeel's apprentice back then, right? Man...Gajeel was really scary!"
"Don't cling onto the past, Sting. Those people were not there on the path we took."
Before they could continue their talk, someone interrupted them. "I found you!" Aiming his arrow at them, he released it. "Die!" Before Rogue could do anything, Sting caught it, chewing on it. "He ate...the arrow...huh?" As the intruder watched Sting eat the arrow, he started shaking in fear. "No way...he can't be...!"
After eating the arrow, Sting released light near him, creating a hole in the wall behind him. As the man panted, Sting stood up and walked towards him. "Ooh? You let your bad side slip out a bit, didn't ya?"
"S-so it was them...they're...the Double Dragons of Sabertooth...The White Dragon, Sting,...and Rogue, the Shadow Dragon. The Dragon Slayer Duo!" Rogue crossed his arms as Sting stood in front of him with his left arm outstretched and his right on his hip, smirking while Rogue frowned.
Running away, the man fell on the ground. "Hey, hey. Are you going to just abandon your comrades? You're really scum." Sting said.
"They're a Dark Guild, after all..."
As Lector and Frosh watched this, Lector said, "Sting really overdid it again, didn't he..."
"Riggit."
"Where did Lector and Frosh get off to?" Sting searched the horizon.
As Lector walked forward with Frosh behind him, Lector said, "We were just doing a bit of reconnaissance~" Stopping in front of them, Lector pointed at Frosh. "Yoo~! It's the Fire Dragon and Iron Dragon...and we won't be second best to the Sky Dragon!"
"Fro thinks so, too~"
Sting and Lector high-fived. "Right?" Sting smirked.
"After all, you're the most powerful Dragon Slayer, Sting! Yup! You could even impress Sora! Yup!"
Turning around, they all started to leave. "I think as of now, I'd definitely be able to beat Natsu. And who wouldn't wanna go out with this piece of work~" Sting flexed his muscles.
"Yeah, of course you would! Yup!"
"Wanna go have a duel with him, Rogue?"
"Not interested."
"Fro, too."
"Then I s'ppose you wouldn't mind me claimin' Sora?" Sting started smirking. In return, Rogue was silent. Turning away, Rogue blushed. "Guess that's a yes."
Awakening to the bright sun, Mira glanced around her surroundings. Blinking, she remembered what she came to do. Standing up, she transported to Sindria's castle. Arriving in front of it, she walked in without the guards noticing her. Giggling, she continued to find Sinbad and his Generals.
As always, Sin was walking around in his palace without doing his duties as king. Before he blink, Mira appeared in front of him, smiling. Screaming, he stumbled backwards.
"W-where'd you come from!"
"Hello, King Sinbad. I know this is sudden but-"
However, Ja'far stomped right towards him with fury in his face. "Siiiinnnnbbbaddd!" Once standing beside him, he grabbed his ear. "How many times have I told you: do your work!"
"But Ja'far-"
"No buts! You are going to go straight back to your desk and do your paperwork!" As Sinbad struggled and whined to get out of Ja'far's clutches, Ja'far kept shouting at him.
Coughing, Mira caught their attention. "Excuse me, but I would like to talk to King Sinbad and the 8 Generals."
Letting him go, Ja'far cleared his throught. "Have you set up a meeting?"
"Well, no, but-"
"Ja'far, a beautiful lady such as herself shouldn't need to set up a meeting with me." Bowing, he took hold of her hand and kissed it.
"But Sin-"
Taking her hand away from him, she smiled and bowed. "I apologize, but it's urgent that we talk. If you be so kind as to hear me out..."
"Certainly." Straightening up, Sinbad put his arm around Mira's neck and led her to his office. "Ja'far, make sure to gather the Generals."
Sighing, Ja'far bended down. "Of coarse..."
Time skip~~~~
As the Generals were all gathered with Sin and Mira, he asked her what the problem was.
"Well, the thing is...I'm from a different world-"
"Like Sora?" Pisti asked.
"Yes. The thing is, Sora's world is in grave danger."
"What do you mean?" Sin put his chin on top of his hands, interest peeked.
"In her future, dragons destroyed the world. I know that I'm not from her universe, but..." Mira looked down.
"Not from her universe...? But you said you were from her world." Yam said.
"Well...I am from her world, but there's a different universe where there's barely any magic. Fairy Tail transported through a portal, my portal, called 'Anima'. I helped make that portal so that everyone from my universe could sap Sora's universe's magic so we could have all to ourselves." As she explained more, Sin and the Generals gave her looks of disgust. "But, Sora and her friends made us realize what we were doing was wrong, and they beat the King. Afterwards, they were transported back to their universe with all of Fiore back to how it should be. Though, some don't remember anything..."
"That still doesn't explain why you needed to tell us." Ja'far crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well, I want you to go to the time before the dragons appear, and stop them from destroying everything." Getting on the ground, she dropped her staff and bowed. "Please, save them."
"How do we know we can trust what you say?"
"Ja'far-"
"I know you don't know me very well, but I'm begging you to save them. If not for me, do it for Sora."
Thinking, Sin nodded. "Very well."
"Sin-"
"Ja'far, you know that Sora's our friend." Turning to Mira, he told her to stand. "However, I would like only three people to join me."
"Certainly. Thank you, Your Highness." Bowing, she started to disappear. "Now, I must be off to gather more people to aid this mission."
Without anymore words, she disappeared to the Reim Empire to recruit Muu. After she acquired his help, she went towards Kou Empire to acquire Kouen's help. After many arguments, he agreed to help, putting Koumei in charge.
Back with Sin, Ja'far put his hand on Sin's shoulder. "Are you sure about this?"
"Yeah. Besides, I'll get to see Sora again!" At this point, he was a lost puppy in love.
"Exactly who are you taking, My King?" Yam asked.
"I'm gonna take Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morgiana."
"But Sin-"
"While there, I need you guys to protect Sindria. Think you can handle that."
"Of course." All 7 Generals said. Ja'far on the other hand...
"Ja'far, I'm leaving you in charge of the paperwork." As Sin started to walk away, planning to talk to Aladdin, Morg, and Alibaba, Ja'far was fuming with anger.
"You always leave me in charge of the paperwork, you good-for-nothing!" Ja'far shook his fist in the air. Masrur put a hand on his shoulder. Sighing, Ja'far smiled. "Oh well...Let's just hope he actually does his job."
Time skip~~~~~~~
As Sin, Aladdin, Alibaba, and Morg were stationed at the location of where the portal would be, they noticed Mira with two other figures. Eyes popped out, Sin pointed at them. "What are these two doing here!"
Mira laughed. "I thought these two could aid in the cause. Besides, I have a feeling that something hilarious will come out of this situation." Before they could say anything, she opened a portal. "Now, I think we've wasted enough time. Off you go!" She kicked all of them in the portal. As they yelled, with Sin cursing at her, she merely waved at them. "Have fun~ Oh, one more thing; when you get there, you'll have all the information from this world and Sora's memories will be implanted in your brains."
