《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 1

A/N: So, I decided to start the chapter off with the Tenrou gang arrive. Also, Mira will be in here. If you don't remember, she's the one who fought Sora in chapter 1 of the first book, and they went through a portal to get to the Magi world, ultimately dying there. However, just roll with her helping create Anima since she can create portals... She will transport Magi characters to Fairy Tail world. Note: the narrator speaking will be in italics.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A young boy bearing the symbol of Fairy Tail stares off into the ocean... Those silent, mysterious eyes...what are they looking at; what are they thinking...?
Coming up behind the boy, two people stood behind him, a woman and a man.
"How long are you gonna just sit there staring at the ocean?" the woman asked
"Our work is over, let's head back to the Guild." the man said. Getting no reply out of him, they both smiled. "If you don't hurry and get back, your Dad will worry." Arsack said
"Makao asked us to take care of you...Romeo." Biska continued
Looking down, Romeo looked distraught. "Okay."
"Romeo...we understand how you feel, but..."
"Biska." Turning her head towards Arsack, he shook his head.
Looking at the ocean, Romeo watched the seagulls fly and a ship sailing.
"Has Romeo not come home yet?!" said Makao, the 4th Master, as he smashed a cup of beer on a table, clearly angered. "That Arsack and Biska! They probably ditched Romeo and went off to party in the town!"
Wakaba, the 4th Master's Advisor, turned towards him. "Pipe down...you're not a kid anymore, Old Man... So calm down and have a seat, Makao."
"I thought I told you to call me Master!"
"I've never heard of a Master with a complete lack of dignity like you!" They started butting heads, sparks flying much like Natsu and Gray's fights.
Afar, Max simply scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, well, anyways...picking on people again?" He looked at the entry of the Guild with Raki standing at the door, looking at it. Jet and Droy were close to the door, sitting at a table.
"Not like it can be helped...no work is gonna come around to a little Guild like ours." Warren said
"Look! At how few job offers we have! This has nothing to do with people like you who don't work!" Nab stood next to the Request Board, hand stretched towards it, indicating his point. There were about three jobs hung there.
"C'mon look, I've almost finished my new dance!" Bijiter sat on a chair and wiggled his arms in the air. "I call it the 'Puny Dance'."
"That looks disgusting... Get him outta here." Max sweat dropped.
Raki stood in front of Droy and Jet's table, tilting a bit to the left. "Hey Droy...have you felt 'pressure in the earth' again?"
This angered Droy, who was eating a hot dog and turkey leg in his hands, clenching them. "You trying to tell me I've gotten fat, you jerk?!"
"Man, you have no self-awareness..." Jet sweat dropped. He looked at Reedus, who was painting. "Look at Reedus; how slim he got!"
"Yo...well, I was originally like this in the first place."
"I've been working out every day! Can't you tell?! Just look at these muscles!" Droy swung the leg around, sweating.
"If Levy could see you like this now, what would she say..." Jet almost continued but Droy interrupted him.
"Levy's not coming back!" He stood up. "Ah!" Realizing his mistake, he watched Jet quiver, sweating, while Raki was silenced, not knowing what to say. Before they could say anything, five men of Twilight Ogre opened the door and walked in like they owned the place.
All smiling, one laughed while the leader of the group said, "Just as always, it's only noon and you already look so serious..." His friends smirked. "That's why you're a puny little Guild."
"You don't have any ambition! Ambition!" one of the men to the left said
"Teebo..." Wakaba said, looking at the leader.
"I thought I told you not to come here anymore!" yelled Makao
"Hey, hey...is it really okay for you to be talking to me like that? After all, we are the Guild that represents Magnolia, Twilight Ogre." Teebo and his pals merely smirked, clearly amused. That got Makao to shut up. "There was a time when Fiore was the strongest, but who knows now... Your era has come to an end. Compared to that place built on a beat-up old tavern (indicating Fairy Tail)...and the Mage Guild of the new age, Twilight Ogre. It's obvious which one would be more beneficial to the advancement of Magnolia, right?"
"Acting all mighty just 'cause they have a bigger Guild..." Max's brows furrowed
"Yeah! We have spirit!" Warren announced out of pride.
"You can't survive off of spirit alone..." Teebo looked towards them.
Makao was shaking in anger, sweating, and trying to control himself. "What did you come here for, Teebo?"
"This month's pay."
Alarmed, Makao was silence until Wakaba broke it. "You didn't again, Makao?!"
"I thought I told you to call me Master!"
"You're late on your debt payments." said the one who had his arms crossed.
"We haven't gotten any work this month! We'll pay you next month, just please wait!" Makao begged
"Come on now, when you were on the verge of collapse, who was it that came to the rescue of this run down tavern?" said the shortest out of the group
"We were the ones who stepped in and loaned you money, weren't we?!" crossed-arms continued
"Why did you accept their help when you knew they were this stupid..." Jet asked out of annoyance
"Did you say something, you brat?!" said the one with wavy hair(?), clearly angered by Jet's statement.
Before it could escalate, Makao put his arm in front of Jet. "Stop it, Jet!"
"But-"
"Wait until next month...we'll pay up." Makao was sweating
This only made Teebo smirk, his smile widened. Before Makao could react, he kicked him and sent him flying.
"Makao!" Wakaba yelled
"Master!" Raki did the same.
Everyone saw Makao crash into a table. The force of his fall broke it. While Twilight Ogre was amused, practically laughing, Max and Droy were about to fight them but Makao yelled, "Don't touch them!" This made them stop, trembling in anger.
Twilight Ogre laughed and started wrecking Fairy Tail. "How pathetic; so this is Fairy Tail...?! Pitiful!" As wavy-haired guy flirted with Raki, the rest of Teebo's goons continued to wreck the place. Turning towards Makao, his smile widened and his face darkened. "Don't forget, now...it's next month."
After Twilight Ogre finally left, Fairy Tail was quiet. As they looked down, something caught Reedus' eyes. It was his sketch book with some pages, especially of the Tenrou gang, that fell out, catching everyone's attention. Looking at all the drawings, some cried while others looked saddened.
"It's been seven years since then." Wakaba puffed out some smoke.
"That really takes me back..." Max's brows furrowed while looking down.
As Warren cried, he said, "After that, nothing has changed at all..."
As a tear fell from Jet, he looked out the window looking towards the sea. "When we heard that Tenrou Island was destroyed, everyone searched with everything that they had."
"But not a single one of them was found..." Bijiter sat on the counter, looking down.
"If the story of the Council is true, then Acnologia was what eradicated the Island." Nab continued
Reedus wiped away his tears. "In reality, all different kinds of organizations worked together in the search...but none of their efforts resulted in anything."
Jet crossed his arms over his chest, looking down. "Yeah, that day...there was a strange emptiness in the Eternano Waters around Tenrou Island that day... Because it was of a level that no living being could even endure..."
Before he could continue, Warren interrupted him while he held a book called Dragon Historia, crying. "That was the force of Acnologia's roar...! Long, ago, just that one dragon by itself was able to destroy an entire country on its own?! There's no way any human alive...would be able to take on that thing..."
"Why...our own comrades..." Droy said
Max was trembling, tears threatening to form. "Ever since the moment they disappeared...we've turned into this weak, pathetic Guild."
As everyone was crying, Wakaba continued to smoke. "Magnolia has built a new Guild. Our time to close may be coming..."
"I don't wanna hear it!" Makao shouted
"What's wrong, Makao?"
"...My heart feels like it's going to break." He was trembling with sadness.
"You've done well, Master."
Makao started clenching his fists. "Ever since that happened...Romeo hasn't ever smiled, even once..." Putting his hand on his face, he cried.
As they cried while Romeo, Biska, and Alsack were walking towards Fairy Tail, everyone at the Guild heard something coming form outside, confused.
When some of them ran out to see the commotion, they found it was Christina, Blue Pegasus' ship. On the ship, Ichiya was sniffing.
"It reeks of sentimental perfume." He started to fall, ultimately slamming into the ground. "Maaaan!" This caused everyone, Max, Warren, Bijiter, and Reedus, to become shocked.
"You fell?!" Yelling in unison, their jaws dropped.
"I'm Ichiya, just for you~" While saying this, he lay on his back.
When Wakaba and Makao ran outside, they were surprised to see Hibiki, Ren, and Eve floating in the air.
"We understand how you feel, Ichiya-sama, but won't you settle down a bit?" Hibiki asked
"I...am a user of air magic." Ren said to absolutely no one.
"It's been a long time, everyone." Eve smiled
"Yoo~" Hibiki winked.
"Hmph!" Ren smirked.
"Getting older, Makao-san?" Eve continued smiling.
"Blue Pegasus!" Droy started sweating.
"What the heck is going on..." Jet started sweating.
Before Raki could blink, Ren, Hibiki, and Eve walked towards her and circled around her.
"You're as beautiful as ever, Raki-san..." Hibiki patted her head.
"T-those glasses really suit you." Ren stammered
"Do you mind if I call you, 'Baby'?" Eve asked
"Do something other than flirt!" Max was astonished.
Getting up, Ichiya dusted himself off. "Hey! You guys!"
"Please excuse us!" As Ren, Hibiki, and Eve bowed to Raki, she was startled.
"I don't forget the perfume of camaraderie of those I've competed and fought with."
"Something matching Christina's movement characteristics that we've recorded in the information archives...has been detected in Fiore's Eternano reading." Hibiki looked at Fairy Tail with Makao and Wakaba shaking and sweating, confusion and shock on their faces.
"In other words, Tenrou Island still exists." Ichiya radiated with sparkles.
