《Slave (Magi FanFiction)》Chapter 8

Maharagaan was filled with excitement. "There wasn't a place I've ever seen so...so...magnificent!" I yelled with excitement. Sinbad and the other eight generals were at the top of palace as I roamed the attractions going on. Alibaba and Aladdin were trying to chase me down after I ran off.
"Hmm, what should I do?"
I was pondering what to do when all of the sudden someone tapped me on my shoulder. "Yes?" I turned around to see a lady in a dark, green cloak. "Can you come with me for a second." I was just about to run behind me when she grabbed my arm and dragged me away before I could even pull away. "W-WAIT!!!"

The lady dragged me around the corner and into an alley. Soon a couple of others came out of the shadows. They were wearing the same type of cloak. The same one grabbed my shoulders as her hood fell off. "You're perfect!" I looked at her, confused.
"What?"
"I said, you're perfect! You can be our substitute!" That's when they all took their cloaks off. Leaving on their masquerade-like masks. They were dancers here to perform.
"So what do you say?" Before I could even say anything she tossed me an outfit and tried to put it on me. "W-wait!!" The next thing I knew is that they were dragging me away to a stage.
There were some other dancers with the same masks. "Here, put this on." One of them said as they handed me one of the alike masks. They taught me the routine of the dance. Before they started, the woman came up to me.
"My name's Chizuku. I'm sorry if I forced you to do this." I shook my head. "Not at all. I'm happy to help, it seems fun." She returned back to her original smile as the dancers took their places. I took mine as the music started.

It was my turn. I spun around and leaped with the beat. My body felt as if it was floating in air. My blue and purple dress fluttered as I moved along with the dance, swaying and following my part.
The crowd was cheering and clapping along when I was in the lead. I continued to dance, even though I had a bit of stage fright. The crowd was getting louder and the music ended.
We all took a bow and took off our masks. When I looked up, I saw Morgiana, Alibaba and Aladdin, shocked. They started clapping and cheering on with the rest. As we all exited off stage, Chizuku came up to me.
"Thank you so much! You were great out there!" I blushed a little. "T-thank you." Alibaba came from behind her. "That was amazing, Mira!" Aladdin and Morgiana nodded. "But what about the dress?" I asked Chizuku. "You can keep it, it suits you." I bowed in thanks as we headed back to the palace.

Sinbad and the other generals clapped as soon as I walked onto the rooftop. "You were great." Sinbad said. "You looked so beautiful in that dress!" Pisti cheered. "T-thank you all." I said. I was probably blushing from ear to ear now.
"You're sister would be proud of you." I turned around to see Morgiana come from the other room. I looked down at the roof floor. Shina...
I looked back up. "Yeah." I smiled back at Morgiana who gave me a worried look. Then she retuned to her smile.
'This was the best night ever!' I thought as Maharagaan continued, everyone enjoying it.

13.AI
AI means Artificial Intelligence. But those words don't match Al, either of them. Neither Artificial, nor Intelligent. At least not at the beginning. No, an AI requires input, trial & error, and careful observation. But at that point, what makes it any different than human? How are binary choices any different than the choices in a human life. I wager that there is no difference. But what will he think?

"Do you know what to do, Amunet?" A voice as sweet as silk whispered into the young girl's ear. Amunet didn't look over her shoulder, but shifted uncomfortably on her bare feet before nodding her head. A soft hand touched her back and urged her forward. All eyes turned towards the girl dressed in transparent linen with her dark hair tumbling down her back and her violet eyes lined by kohl. Every movement caused the jewels on her wrists and ankles to dangle and shimmer in the light. She raised her head and found the Pharaoh's transfixed stare. His jade eyes narrowed in on hers and the room became still and silent. Amunet bowed and, at the pluck of a harp string, began to dance.---cover by @AddietayDoes contain reference to some mature themes that may not be suited for a younger audience.
