Chapter twenty five
Sinbad and Nishi sat in Sinbad's study with Ja'far. The three of them were alone so Nishi could answer their question honestly without awkwardness. Although Nishi knew it would still be extremely uncomfortable.
"So...What's your question?" Nishi sat across from Sinbad at his desk, and Ja'far stood beside him.
"Well, I spoke with Yunan the other day," Sinbad started.
"What? He came here?" Nishi was surprised the older magi would leave his darkness.
"Yes. He brought up a peculiar idea that you are intimate with another magi."
Nishi's eyes widened, Yunan knows! And he told Sinbad?! Without telling me! W-Why...? "Oh... D-Did he?"
"Mhm. Is this true? Are you in a relationship with Judar?" Sinbad asked, although by her reaction he and Ja'far already knew the answer.
"If you're going. Don't bother coming back."
The green eyed magi's eyes became sad as she remembered what Judar said. "I was..."
"Seriously?!" It was Sinbad's turn to be surprised.
"Not anymore though..." Nishi added, a sad tone to her voice.
Sinbad and Ja'far exchanged a look. Neither knew exactly what was going on. Were they supposed to comfort her? Say that she could've expected that? They were both still shocked that she even was with Judar.
"I'm sorry I lied to you. But I am loyal to only Sindria." Nishi became serious again.
"Even if that means killing Judar?" Ja'far asked.
Nishi paused for a few moments before forcing herself to answer, "Even...if it means killing Judar."

It was a bit awkward for Nishi as she walked around Sindria's palace. All the generals now knew of her relationship with Judar, and they seemed to look at Nishi weirdly. Her first few weeks back in Sindria were very weird. No one talked to her and when she tried to make conversation it always ended awkwardly.

Luckily, after a few weeks everything returned to normal, and everything seemed fine. Seemed being the key word.
"Hey...Where the hell did you come from?" Nishi looked at her rukh in confusion. It wasn't too many, but several black rukh fluttered around her. She let one land on her hand as she examined it, "Are you mine...?" If so, this is a problem... I can't let Yamuraiha see this. She checked around her to make sure no one was there.
Nishi knew it was impossible, but deep down she really wanted to find Judar hiding somewhere. She sighed as she finished examining her room and outside the door, "Of course not, he wouldn't be able to get past Yamuraiha's barriers..."
But what to do about these rukh? I can make them harder to see, but I can't get rid of them completely... Nishi remembered how Yunan could tell something was off about her the last time she'd seen him. She looked at the small birds more before using her magic to make them harder to detect. "It'll work for a little while..."
"Nishi? Are you coming to the festival?"
The magi groaned inwardly as she heard Pisti knocking on her door. I don't want to go.
"Nishi? Come on, let's get a drink or something!" Pisti entered the room and grabbed Nishi's hand in an attempt to pull her from the room.
"Aren't you a bit young to be so obsessed with alcohol?" Nishi complained as she lazily followed the shorter girl.
"I'm the same age as you!"
"Yeah, but I'm not an alcoholic at nineteen." Nishi pointed out.
"Oh sh, you. You should enjoy yourself!" Pisti smiled. "Stay here, I'll get us drinks."
"Ok, ok." Nishi sighed in defeat. She plopped down in a chair and leaned her arm against a table to support her head.

"Ah, so you decided to join us."
Nishi raised her head to see who was talking, "Oh, hey Sin."
"Here," Sinbad handed her alcohol before sitting across from her. "Enjoying the festival?"
"Yeah, Pisti just dragged me out here." Nishi took a sip of the drink before wrinkling her nose in disgust.
Sinbad chuckled at her reaction, "Don't like it?"
"I remember why I don't drink." Nishi choked out as she pushed the drink away from her.
"Nishi!! I got your drink!" Pisti ran over. "Oh hey Sinbad!"
"Oh...thanks..." Nishi forced herself to smile and take a large sip.
"Good evening, Pisti." Sinbad greeted his general. He smirked as he watched Nishi take another sip of her new drink, resulting in another disgusted expression.
"Oh! Spartos is here! Sorry, I'll see you later Nishi, Sinbad!" Pisti apologized as she ran off to catch up to the red headed general.
"Ugh." Nishi shook her head as she tried another sip. "Stop laughing." She glared at Sinbad.
"You'll get used to it eventually." Sinbad chuckled.
"I don't want to get used to it." Nishi grimaced.
"Well, I'm glad everything's back to normal now." Sinbad changed the subject.
"Yeah, me too." Nishi smiled a little, but her thoughts said differently. She still wasn't okay. Her first life still haunted her, and she missed Judar. Why can't I just forget about everything? About Kana, Rin, Judar... I just want to move on already... But how am I supposed to get over what's happened to me? Everyone who thinks it's okay to hurt others should die. Everyone like Kana's dad. Like the people who killed Rin... Everyone like Al and that other dick should be killed. All of them.

Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.
