Chapter thirteen
Nishi looked around as she walked through the Kou Empire. She wasn't exactly sure where she was going, but it was obvious the palace wasn't too far away as it was much larger than every other building and a lot more expensive looking. The citizens in the area seemed content with their lives, not paying much attention to Nishi as she walked past.
"I wonder what the Ren's are really like?" Nishi thought out loud as she continued walking. It's going to be so awkward with Judar there too... She also hoped Kougyoku and Kouha hadn't told anyone else about them.
~
"Hey, Old Hag, she's here." Judar called to Kougyoku lazily.
"Really? How do you know, Judar-kun?" Kougyoku walked over to where Judar sat on the railing of the palace entrance, Ka Koubun at her side.
Judar shrugged, "I felt it. See, there she is." He pointed to the bottom of the stairs as Nishi walked to them, looking slightly nervous.
"Oh! She is here!" Kougyoku exclaimed happily. "Nishi!"
Nishi smiled at the princess when she got to top of the large staircase, "Hello Princess Kougyoku." She noticed Judar walked over as well, but she decided not to address him.
"Hey, Judar, is this her?" Nishi jumped at the sound of another person beside her. She looked the young man standing to her left. He had pink hair and eyes like most of the Ren family and was a bit shorter than Nishi.
"Uh..." Nishi wasn't sure what to say.
"Nishi, this is Brother Kouha. He's the third prince." Kougyoku introduced him.
"Oh!" Nishi realized this was the prince who knew of her and Judar's friendship. "Hello Prince Kouha." She bowed her head to him. Her braid swung over her shoulder and hit her in the face, causing Nishi to blush a deep red and hope no one noticed.

"Hmm...She's cute I guess." Kouha circled Nishi. "Good job, Judar."
"What?" Nishi lifted her head and turned towards Kouha who was now standing beside Judar. Good job!?
"Ah, so she has arrived. Welcome, Nishi." Nishi looked to see two more people coming out from inside the palace.
Nishi knew they had to be the first and second prince so she bowed her head to them, "Thank you for allowing me to visit...uhm..." She glanced up and looked at the men. They had the same pink hair and eyes as Kougyoku and Kouha and wore expensive clothing. She knew Sinbad had told her all of their names, but she was having a hard time remembering theirs.
"Kouen Ren. First Imperial prince. This is my brother Koumei, second Imperial Prince." Kouen introduced himself and his younger brother. "I see you've already met Prince Kouha and our magi, Judar."
Nishi lifted her head and smiled a little, "Yes, I have."
Kouen nodded, "Feel free to stay here as long as you'd like."
"Thank you." Nishi thanked him, then looked to Kougyoku to see what would happen next.
"Come on, I'll show you around the palace." Kougyoku offered, smiling.
~
Nishi sat in the middle of a field of flowers with Kougyoku. The princess had shown her around the palace, Judar and Kouha tagging along. She had even gotten a chance to apologize to Judar, who just shrugged it off. Now, Nishi was making flower crowns with Kougyoku and talking about anything that came to mind.
"So, I hear you've got a thing for Sinbad, huh?" Nishi teased.
"Huh?!" Kougyoku blushed. "I guess I like him..."
Nishi smiled, "Yeah? He's a lot older than you, you know."
"I don't care. He's not that old!"

Nishi chuckled and placed a flower crown she'd finished on the princesses head. "I wouldn't be surprised if he liked you back."
"R-Really?! You think Sinbad would like me?!" Kougyoku blushed more, getting excited.
"Why not? You're young and pretty. Plus, you're a princess."
Kougyoku smiled happily, her eyes wide. Once she relaxed she asked, "What about you? Do you like anyone?"
"Me? No, no...I don't like anyone." Nishi could feel her cheeks heating up despite her words.
"You sure?" A sly smile spread across Kougyoku's face.
"Hmm...Well your brothers are pretty hot." Nishi smirked.
"What?! All of them?!" Kougyoku exclaimed.
"N-No, no! I'm joking!" Nishi laughed, shaking her head. "I swear!"
"Oh!" Kougyoku laughed. "Okay."
"You mean you actually believed me?"
"No..." The princess pouted and turned her head to the side.
Nishi chuckled quietly and shook her head. This is fun...I'm glad I came...

Tale of Family - Book 1 - WIP
The world is peaceful in 2063. Fusion reactor and Diamon battery had taken care of the energetical problem. Countries were stable. Automation was everywhere. Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." (courtesy of https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlotArmor I love you guys ^^) So now that this is said, do my characters have plot armour? No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger... For the tropers around here, a list of tropes that I like to use (note that I may not use all of them ^^) (this list will be updated as I dive deeper and deeper into our dear trope wiki.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BodyHorror- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SealedGoodInACan- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YouAreNotAlone- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieAdvocate (In particular since I see a lot of things that aren't human as worthy to live and to live with)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasLovedOnes- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EvenEvilHasStandards- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HeelFaceTurn- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CorruptTheCutie (Note: being corrupted don't mean you're a villain, only different than before.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DefectingForLove (Of course.)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VillainousRescue- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InterspeciesAdoption (For the same reasons as zombie advocate, since I love family stuff)- https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrokenBird (to go with corrupt the cutie if it's a girl)Cover: "The Bard" by John Martin, 1817.

Ghostified City
‘Ghostified City’ is a post-dystopian sci-fi tale, set in a fading world that might be a future version of ours, running out on autopilot into oblivion. Adaman Yimmand is a simple robofactory operator in The City who's working with robots and machines every day. He doesn’t even realise that he might not have met another actual human being in years. Everything begins when he breaks his routine for once and enters a bar where he meets Evelith. This pesky other person does not let him go after he has had his -rather terrible- beer, because according to her actual humans are much rarer than he’s aware of. And from then on ‘the genie is out of the bottle and won’t get back in’, to use her words: Adaman meets more people, and gradually he has no choice but to accept that the reality of The City is not what he always thought it was, and to face the darkness of a fading humanity on the brink of self-inflicted extinction. Is there any hope left for him, and for his species? I have selected 'sexual content' and 'traumatising content' to be on the safe side, because there is a stripclub-like venue in the background of the story, and an almost-extinct humanity that has institutionalised suicide which might be disturbing to some. Apart from that it's not really a heavy 'adult' story.('Ghostified City' is my first long story in English as opposed to my native language Dutch, and an earlier version was published on my fiction blog 'Oranderra' until I stopped updating. This is a slightly altered version of the first series.)
