Chapter Twelve
*Warning- Kinda bad? Mentions of rape/abuse*
"My name was Kana Adachi. I was human, living with my mother and father in a small country. It's been so long I don't even remember the name of the country," Nishi chuckled sadly as she spoke. "My mother's name was Amelia, and I don't remember my father's real name... I never needed to know his name. I was only ever allowed to call him 'Sir', or 'My King' if he was really angry." She scowled and Sinbad frowned. He never would have guessed this was what she wanted to confess.
"Amelia was a good person, she tried so hard to protect Kana -me- but she was terrified of going against my father..." Nishi began explaining how her father had abused and raped her and her mother countless times. How he called her worthless and her mother a filthy whore. Sinbad remained quiet the entire time, occasionally nodding to encourage Nishi to continue.
"One day I just couldn't take it anymore." Nishi could already feel her eyes beginning to water. "I was so angry. I just wanted him to die. For everyone like him to die. I even wanted my mother to die for not standing up to him..."
"You cursed your fate..." Sinbad watched her with curiosity. No one would ever guess someone as kind and gentle as Nishi could be like that.
Nishi nodded, "I thought killing my father would help, but it didn't. I even accidentally killed Amelia too, but I was still angry." She could feel the tears starting to run down her face. "I kept stabbing him, over and over. Once I realized he was really dead I just started laughing..." Nishi wiped the tears from her face. "I thought I was free for a while...but it didn't last."

"I remember every single thing that happened. A mother and her child took me in one day. They knew I was homeless, so they gave me food and a place to sleep, but instead of being thankful, I killed them too. I killed so many people..." The tears started again. "I kept killing, until one day I met him."

"I was in my early twenties by then, and so was he." Nishi thought back to that time.
"What the hell?!" Kana snapped as a man her age bumped into her, knocking the basket of food she was holding to the ground.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry Miss, let me help you." He stopped and began picking up some fruit that had fallen from the basket.
"Fuck off, I don't need your help." Kana hissed and he backed away.
"Oh...okay."
"I don't know why he kept trying to talk to me. He had no idea what he was getting himself into. But he kept trying." Nishi smiled a little as she thought of one of the few happy moments in her first life. "Surprisingly, I ended up falling in love with him."
"Kana! Hey!"
"Rin, what do you want now?" Kana grumbled, watching the man with blonde hair and bright blue eyes run over.
"He knew what I was, but he didn't care." Nishi continued to smile. "I think he wanted to help me."
"I got you something, here!" Rin handed Kana a red rose.
"A flower? Why would you even waste your time on that?" Kana rolled her eyes.
"W-Well...I've wanted to tell you something for a while now." Rin began blushing.
"What? You're as red as that damn flower." Kana managed to smirk a bit.

"Kana...I know you had a rough past, but you were able to give up hurting people for me. And I...I never want you to suffer like that again. I love you."
"I couldn't even look him in the eye. I did love him, but I never gave up killing, I just got better at hiding it." Nishi's smile faded into a frown.
"You idiot." Kana snapped. "What do you think you're doing, falling in love with me? What if I were to hurt you?!"
"You won't. I know it." Rin walked closer to Kana and hugged her.
"Y-You!" Kana squirmed, but found the hug was slightly comforting. She stopped moving and sighed while mumbling into his shoulder, "Whatever..."
"It wasn't long before he realized I kept killing. He was so upset with me and I didn't care, I just yelled at him to leave. And he did." Nishi closed her eyes as she continued, "I should've gone after him. I should've apologized, or done something."
"What happened to him?" Sinbad asked.
"A gang of thieves mugged him. I remember hearing him scream and trying to find him, but when I got to him it was already too late. They killed him." Nishi spoke, her voice sad. "I tried hunting the thieves down, but I could never find them. I started killing more, I even posed as a dancer to lure men. Until I messed up one time...The same group of thieves found me, and the same man who killed Rin killed me." Nishi went silent as she ended her story.
"Why were you reincarnated?"
"I have no idea...I wanted to start over so bad. I just wanted to be happy for once. I guess someone heard me." Nishi shrugged. "I'm sorry I never told you before, Yunan is the only other one who knows. I was too ashamed to tell anyone."
"I appreciate you trusting me." Sinbad nodded to her.
"You're not going to make me leave Sindria...right?" Nishi spoke slowly.
"Of course not. We've all done things we regret. This life is supposed to be your second chance, isn't it?" Sinbad smiled at her reassuringly.
"Y-Yeah..." Nishi managed to smile. "Thank you, Sinbad." She felt a lot better now, like a million ton weight was lifted from her shoulders. She thought of how she acted when she killed the gang of rapists before, I haven't gotten over it though...I'm still angry, and I don't think anything will change that. Nishi then thought of Judar and smiled a little, I'm going to have to apologize for leaving like that.

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
