Chapter seven
Nishi smiled in amusement as Alibaba and Morgiana panicked, trying to get the people of Sindria to leave the area they were in. It had been a little less than six months since Nishi and Judar's fight. She kept meeting with Judar in the same place, usually at night so no one would notice. But right now, a 'Rampaging Moray' was attacking the island, meaning they'd be having another festival that night.
Nishi continued watching as Aladdin ran over to his friends, the pair still very confused as to what was happening. Some soldiers began baning gongs ontop of a ledge, making the citizens even more excited. A large, blue, fish-like monster was on the shore, causing a lot of destruction.
"Sharrkan! It's up to you to get todays prey!" Sinbad and the eight generals appeared beside the soldiers.
"Leave it to me, Your Highness!" Sharrkan smirked. He jumped from the cliff onto the sea monster below, "Over here, you big monster! Household Vessel: 'Foraz Saika!" Sharrkan activated his household vessel, making around his black sword glow blueish white.
He cut off the monster's head in one swift motion. "Next, open up the organs, backbone, stomach," Sharrkan sliced up the monster with ease. Nishi chuckled at Alibaba's amazement.
The townspeople ran under the abundance of meat that was now falling from the sky, catching it on a very large cloth. The inedible parts, like the head and spine, landed in the middle where Sharrkan stood bowing, while the rest of the monster was served in a large circle around him.
"Divide it fairly, okay!?" Sharrkan sheathed his sword and yelled to the surrounding people.
Nishi cheered with the people, this had happened many times since she got here, but every time it still amazed her. Sinbad was able to take a terrifying situation and turn it around, making it enjoyable for everyone. Nishi watched everyone for a while: Sinbad was introducing Alibaba and Aladdin to their new mentors, Sharrkan and Yamuraiha; who were already arguing again.

She shook her head and walked off, deciding to help the townspeople move the food for the celebration that night. "Hey, you guys need some help?"
"Oh! Miss Nishi!" A man carrying a slab of meat with a few others smiled.
"Here, let me help some." Nishi pulled out her wand and pointed it at the meat. She had taught herself some gravity magic during her time in Sindria and was able to move object for a short period of time. Hopefully I'll have enough time to get it to where they can cook it...
"Thank you, miss magi!" Nishi smiled at the man as he thanked her.
~
"To king Sinbad and the blessings of the southern sea!" The citizens of Sindria made a toast. Nishi mingled among the people, passing out flower necklaces like some other woman were.
"Miss Nishi, King Sinbad has called for you." A soldier approached her.
"Really? Ok!" Nishi gave her last flower necklace to a small girl who smiled happily and thanked her in return.
She then went to where she assumed Sinbad was, finding him introducing the generals to Alibaba, Aladdin and Morgiana. "-And lastly, this is Nishi. Sindria's magi." Sinbad smiled at her.
"Hello again." Nishi smiled at the trio.
"Oh, it's you!" Alibaba looked up at her from where he sat. Aladdin went to say something, but was cut off as Nishi was pulled backwards.
"Nishi! Spartos won't play with me!" Pisti pulled on Nishi's arm some more.
"So I have to?!" Nishi tried to pull her arm away.
"Yes!"
"Wait! No!" Pisti dragged Nishi away from Sinbad and the others. Not again...
~
Nishi sighed, she finally had gotten away from Pisti and the 'games' she forced her to play. "No wonder Spartos didn't want to play..." Nishi muttered to herself. Being smothered in woman wasn't exactly her kind of party. "Aw. It's almost over already, huh?" She looked around as everyone made another toast to Sinbad.

She sighed contently and watched the stars, leaning against a nearby wall. Nishi had heard a prince from Kou was to be arriving in a few months, it had been part of Sinbad's negotiations with them. I wonder what he'll be like? She didn't know any of the members of Kou, besides hearing what they're like from Judar. From his perspective, they were all annoying and useless, and she was sure she couldn't really go off that.
"Hmm...It might be fun to travel to Kou one day..." Nishi thought out loud. She knew Sinbad wouldn't like it much, but she figured if she went as herself and not Sindria's magi, she'd be fine. "Speaking of Kou...I wonder what Judar's doing?" Nishi thought for a while, then remembered she was going to meet him that night. Oh, crap! He's gonna kill me!

The Polyglot's Rune
Fear. Regret. Memories. They all flashed before my eyes as my life began to fade away. I felt a darkness encroach upon my heart followed by a sinister foreboding. Within that moment I was asked a single question by a powerful, mystical being. “Brave being, do you wish to accomplish a great deed in your life?” “No,” I refused, but the voice did not listen. It summoned me to its world only to try to have me slaughtered. But then, I was saved by him, the princess who disguised herself as a man. He was hellbent on revenge, and he was determined to drag me down with him. This story is meant to be a bit of a mix of genres and cultures, so there are some elements that may seem xianxia like, but it's not exactly the same so I didn't tag it. It also has multiple lead characters but is written in first person. Schedule: Dropped Normal Chapter Length: approximately 3000 words Warning: Tagged [15+] for Strong Language and Violence (Gore and Profanity aren't very prevalent, but I added the warning tags just in case).
