Chapter three
"Ooh~" Nishi marveled at the dense forest that stood before her. "I bet it's really dark in there!~" She smiled. Nishi was a lot like Yunan, she even looked like him a bit, although they weren't related. Just like the Wandering Magi, she loved the dark, maybe because she grew up in it and it made her feel safe.
Nishi left Sindria, explaining to Sinbad and the other generals that she wanted to explore and she'd be back in time. She wasn't exactly sure where she was, but she knew it was somewhere near Kou, but not inside the empire.
She wandered into the forest, careful not to trip over anything. Nishi watched the rukh around her fly about happily, all of them a pale white color. She walked deeper into the forest and saw a small clearing that allowed some light to shine through the leaves. Nishi walked towards it, admiring the dark forest around the clearing. Everything was silent besides the chirping of birds and the occasional squirrel that would break a twig as it walked.
Suddenly she stopped walking. She felt something change in the rukh surrounding her. It was the same feeling Nishi got when she met Aladdin. There was another magi nearby.
Nishi walked into the clearing, curious as to who the magi could be. She gasped when she noticed the abundance of black rukh fluttering about.
"Hey! Who're you? Go away." A young man around Nishi's age sat leaning against a tree, his legs stretched out in front of him. He wore a black short-sleeved choli and also black pants similar to arabian harem pants.
"Uhm..." Nishi noticed he was barefoot and had gold bracelets from his elbows to his wrists, a and wore a similar necklace. "Why are you here?" She wondered if this was the third magi that was supposed to be in this era.

"I could ask you the same." The man seemed annoyed. He paused and looked at Nishi's rukh, then narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"
"My name's Nishi." Nishi smiled a little. She walked over to a bolder that sat in the middle of the small clearing and sat on it, facing the mysterious man. "And you are?"
"Judar. Now go away, I'm trying to nap." Judar dismissed her, and why she had so many rukh surrounding her.
"I knew it! You're a magi!" Nishi felt proud of herself. But why are his rukh black?
"Yeah, and?" Judar had his eyes closed, clearly uninterested.
"I am too!"
Judar opened his eyes and rolled them, "Yeah, right. You know how many times I've heard that recently?"
"I'm serious! Can't you see the rukh?" Nishi had a feeling she should be afraid or intimidated by this person, but she wasn't. She felt like she shouldn't be talking to him, but something else was telling her that she should.
"There's already three magi, me and those other two idiots."
"I know, but then there's me and this other kid, Aladdin." Nishi tried to convince him.
"Huh? You know that pipsqueak?" Judar seemed to be gaining some interest in the conversation.
"Mhm. And now that I've met you, I know all the magi." Nishi smiled again.
"Hmph. How are you a magi?" Judar already didn't like her cheerful personality.
"What do you mean?"
"If you're a magi, prove it." Judar challenged, although he wasn't really in the mood for a fight- surprisingly.
Nishi frowned a bit, "I'm not going to fight you."
"Whatever." Judar didn't have the energy to really care. That was the only reason he didn't kill her the second she bothered him.

"But I really am a magi." Nishi insisted. "I'm Sindria's magi." She hoped mentioning Sindria would convince him.
"Eh? Sindria?" Judar laughed, "You're Sinbad's magi? Why would he want anyone like you!?"
Nishi pouted and crossed her arms, "I'm stronger than you think. If you know Sin, then you know he wouldn't get a fake."
"You do have a point." Judar thought for a while. He couldn't tell what he thought about her. It wasn't like when he met Aladdin and he instantly really wanted to fight him. It was bothering him.
"Miss Nishi!!" Nishi gasped when she heard Aladdin call her. She remembered Yamuraiha had given her one of the magic tools she made, 'Eye of the Rukh', so Nishi could call if she had any problems.
"I -uh- I gotta go. Nice meeting you! We should meet here again! Say...the night after tomorrow?" Nishi called to Judar, trying to quiet the magic tool as she backed away from the other magi.
Judar stayed quiet for a while before finally answering, "Yeah, whatever."
Nishi smiled and ran off, getting some distance between her and Judar before retrieving the Eye. "Aladdin? Yam?" She saw the two in the circular magic tool.
"Hi, Nishi. You forgot to say goodbye to Aladdin and he wanted to make sure you were alright." Yamuraiha explained, smiling happily.
"Oh," Nishi laughed. "I'm sorry, Aladdin."
"That's okay. Where are you going?" Aladdin asked.
"I'm not really sure. Wherever I end up going, really." Nishi shrugged casually.
"Nishi!" Sharrkan appeared in the Eye of The Rukh, shoving Yamuraiha and Aladdin out of the way. "When you get back we need to rematch! And no cheating!"
"Of course, of course." Nishi chuckled.
"Get out of the way you stupid swordsman!" Nishi rolled her eyes as Yamuraiha yelled at Sharrkan.
"She's my disciple too you know!" Sharrkan argued.
"Guys, please stop fighting over me." Nishi tried in vain to stop them. She knew it was hopeless. "Hey, Aladdin?" She tried to get the young magi's attention.
"Yes?" Aladdin struggled to get to the magic tool, Yamuraiha and Sharrkan still arguing.
"Tell Alibaba and Morgiana I said hi, okay? I'm gonna go, they should eventually stop fighting." Nishi looked around where she ended up. The forest seemed neverending.
"Okay! I will!" Aladdin agreed, then they both ended the spell.
Nishi walked around the forest some more, trying to find her way out. "Oh...Don't tell me I'm lost..." She began to panic. Crap....I'm just gonna have to fly out.

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
