I woke up in my bed with the sheets on the floor. I slowly got off of the bed and stretched. I looked at my dresser and saw an outfit sitting on top of it with a note. I picked up the note and read it.
I smiled at myself amazed that Aladdin bought me this. I put the note down on the bed and layed the outfit on the bed. There was a pouch for the egg and a sword to go along with it.
"Wow, Aladdin has good taste in clothes, but the skirt is a little short for my liking, I'll wear it anyways." I said as I changed into my new outfit. There was a large mirror above the dresser were I looked at myself in it. I smiled as looked at myself. I tied my hair into a high ponytail and went out of my room to go find Alibaba to do sword training. I walked around, passing guards making them look at me.
"Is that the girl who beat up Judar yesterday?" one of the guards whispered to the other.
"I believe so, she looks cute in that." said the other. I smiled at myself and blushed a little from the compliments. I turned the corner and ran into Jafar.
"Oh, Jafar, how are you." I said with a smile. He blinked a couple of times before smiling back.
"I'm good, I didn't recognize you for a minute there." he said seeing my new outfit. I blushed shyly looking away but looked back up smiling brightly.
"Thanks, have you seen Alibaba, he promised he would help me with sword fighting today." I said getting tired of trying to find him.
"Oh, just go down this hall, and make two left turns, he's training with Sharrkan." he said pointing down the hall.
"Ok, thank you, have a good rest of your day!" I said running down the hall waving. He waved back smiling. I followed the route he told me before coming to a large area. I stood by one of the pillars while I see Alibaba training with a man. He had white hair and a chain hooked onto his ear. Their swords clashed and echoed around the opened space. I stepped out catching the attention of the man. Alibaba looked at me as well with a bright pink dushed his cheeks with wide eyes.
"Ashlin." Alibaba said making sure it was me. I walked over to him and patted his head.
"Yup, I came for training like you said yesterday." I said smiling sweetly.
"You look n-nice." he said stuttering on the last word. I giggled at his flustered face.
"Thanks, Aladdin bought it for me, I'm guessing you Sharrkan." I said face the man and holding out my hand to shake with his. He took it and lifted it up kissing the back of my hand making me blush a little.
"Yes, and you must me Ashlin, Alibaba has told me about you, you sure are pretty." he said with a wink.
"Thanks." I said getting a little uncomfortable with him. He stood next to me and placed an arm around my shoulder, pulling me close to him.
"Oh, I don't think so!" I said pushing him away, he frowned at me.
"I was just teasing." he said bring his face closer. Alibaba grabbed my arm and yanked me away from him, hiding me behind him.
"That not a nice way to treat her, Sharrkan." Alibaba said glaring at him. I peeked out from behind Alibaba like a little kid make Sharrkan smile.

"But she's so cute." he said smiling down at him. I stepped out from behind Alibaba with a small smile.
"Let's get this straight, I don't care if you are one of the generals, if you touch me in any creepy way, I will break every bone in your body, got it." I said with a really creepy smile. Both men shivered at me from fear.
"Yes ma'am." Sharrkan said scared.
"Haha, I have never seen you scared of a girl before." said a lady walking up to us. She wore a black hat and had light blue hair and blue eyes. She had a staff in her hand while smiling warmly at me.
"My name is Yamuraiha, I'm a wizard." she said introducing herself.
"I'm Ashlin, nice to meet you." I said smiling.
"What do you want, are you here to tell me that swordmans ship is better that magic." Sharrkan said with a mischievous grin.
"Here we go again." Alibaba said rolling his eyes. I looked at him confused and then looked back at the two.
"Yea right, like your stupid swordsmanship ship is better then magic, ha don't make me laugh." Yamuraiha said with a huff. Sharrkan had an annoyed look.
"Like the hell magic is better, you stupid witch." Sharrkan said getting into battle stance, Yamuraiha did the same as they glared each other down.
"Hello, you forgot about us." I said waving my hand making then both look at me.They rushed over to me scaring me a little.
"Ashlin, you decide, is magic better then swordmans ship?" she asked pushing Sharrkan.
"Isn't it obvious, she's going to pick swordmans ship." Sharrkan said pushing her back. I took a couple of steps back from them before sighing.
"I choose neither." I said straight forward.
"Wait, what?" they both asked at the same time.
"I said I choose neither because people like different things and just to let you know I prefer hand to hand combat." I said making it obvious. They both blinked and looked at me weird but they both started to argue again about which one is better.
"Are they always like this?" I asked Alibaba, he just sighed and nodded. I started to laugh at the two as they looked at me confused.
"You two act like an old married couple." I said making Alibaba cover his mouth trying not to laugh. They both blinked before glaring at me.
"We do not!" they yelled at me at the same time.
"Ugh, I'm leaving." Yamuraiha said stomping away. Sharrkan just huffed and looked the other direction in disgust.
"Ok, I had my fun, now can you teach me swordmans ship." I said looking at Alibaba pouting in a adorable way. He just smirked and flicked my forehead.
"Hey, what was that for!" I said puffing my cheeks out in a angry manner.
"Because your never patient." He said grabbing is dagger and walking a few feet away before turning around. He pointed his dagger up to me in a ready position with his hand behind his back. I drew my sword I had at my side and held it out in front of me.
"Wow, this thing is light." I said playing with it in my hands.
"I think it's best to focus, Ashlin." Sharrkan said standing off to the side watching. I nodded at put my focus back onto Alibaba. I moved my blade up and charged at him aiming for his chest. He swiftly moved to the side, going behind me and hitting me in the butt with the flat part of the blade. I stopped in my tracks and tighten my grip on my sword.

"That was a really bad choice to do." I said turning around with a mischievous smirk on my face. I held the blade in front of me taking deep breaths focusing onto my target. I closed my eyes waiting for him to attack. I learned this technique training with my brother, if you focus on your target your senses become more sharp. I heard him run forward, hearing the blade go through the air on my left. I spun blocking the blade with my sword while opening my eyes, swing my blade at his neck and stopped, placing the blade on the side of his neck making him freeze. I heard clapping from Sharrkan off to the side. Alibaba stepped back and smiled at me while I smiled back.
"Have you every use a sword before?" Sharrkan asked walking up to me.
"Only once to help my brother practice." I said placing the sword back into its case.
"For having no experience, you are a natural at this." He said patting my head. I smiled at him warmly, glad that I was that good.
"I want you back here tomorrow morning, then you can face off with me." He said before walking away with a small wave. I jumped up and down with joy knowing that I did well.
"Wow, you are good at things after all." Alibaba said in a teasing voice. I playfully punched his arm making him laugh.
"I don't know about you, but I'm going to go check out the garden." I said walking away.
"3, 2, 1." I counted in my mind before I heard Alibaba call my name and run up to me. I smiled at myself as I keeped facing forward making him wonder.
"What's up with you?" he asked as we walked through the hall ways.
"Just thinking about something funny, that's all." I said has I put my hands behind my back. He just shrugged as we walked to the garden in complete silence. Once we arrived at the garden I stepped out onto the sidewalk and smelt the beautiful sent of flowers. I walked around see tulips, Lily's, and many other flowers decorating the garden. I stopped at saw a beautiful white rose bush making me walk over to it and look at it.
"I see you like the rose." Alibaba said walking up beside me.
"Yea, it's really pretty." I said still looking at it.
"-pretty as you." I heard him mumble. I liked at him confused.
"Did you say something?" I asked looking at him. His cheeks grew a little pink before he looked away.
"Nothing, don't worry about it." He said not even glancing at me.
"Well, ok." I said before going back to looking at the flower.
*Alibaba's pov*
"Man that was a close one." I thought as I sighed in relief. I looked back at her as she happily looked at the flower. I smiled at her being cute like a small child.
"Let's go see what other plants are in here." I said standing up and started to walk. She quickly got up and followed me. I've never been in the garden yet so I don't know it at all. We came to a big cleaning to find a pond with really beautiful water fall.
"Wow." was the only thing she said before running up to the small pond.
"Alibaba, come here." she said looking at me smiling. She sat down on the ground as I sat down next to her. She layed in her back and looked at the blue sky above.
"This is my new favorite place." She said flopping her arms off to the side. There was a patch of small yellow flowers next to me. I picked then and laced them around making a flower crown.
"Can you sit up for a moment." I said hiding the flower crown from her. She sat up and looked at me confused.
"Close your eyes." I said, she did what she was told as I placed the flower crown on her head. She opened her eyes and looked into the pond to see her reflection.
"How did you make that, can you teach me." She said looking back at me with a large smile.
"Sure, watch closely." I said as I picked the flowers making another flower crown. She watched carefully with a small smile on her face. She then picked some flowers and started to do her own.
"You sure learn fast." I said as she carefully weaved the flowers. Her steady hands finished as she place it on my head.
"There, now you look like a prince fit to be king." she said giggling. I smiled kindly at her as she just looked at me.
"Hey, sorry I never told you right away that I was a prince." I said looking away with a frown.
"Don't worry about it, I don't care if your a prince or not, your my friend and that will never change." she said leaning forward to look at my face with a cute smile. I couldn't help but smile back at her. I looked at her beautiful blueish green eyes captured by there beauty.
"I never really notice, but you have really pretty eyes, they remind me of the sea." I said making her blush and look down.
"Thanks." she said getting all shy. I started to chuckle and stood up.
"Let's see how Mabel's doing, she never came out of her room yet after she explored the palace." I said as I held out a hand. She took it as I helped her up of the ground.
"Oh, I almost forgot." she said facing me. She soon pushed me making me fall into the water, which was freezing cold. She laughed her head off as I sat there shaking. I got out of the water shaking like crazy, she soon realized and frowned.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didnt know it was that cold." she said apologizing. I smirked at her making her step back.
"What's with the scary smile." she said stepping farther away I walked forward making her taking more steps back.
"Revenge, that's what." I said as I ran at her. She screamed before taking off, running away from me.
*Ashlin's pov*
I ran away for my life knowing that I more likely will get wet as well from him. I ran threw the halls, him hot on my heels. I laughed as I ran from him and he just chuckled trying to catch me. I turned the corner to see Sharrkan walking down the hall. I ran to him and quickly hid behind him.
"Help me, Alibaba is trying to get me." I whispered to him. He nodded understanding. He pointed to a room off to the side as I quickly ran inside closing the door.
"Hey, did you see Ashlin run through here?" I heard Alibaba ask panting.
"She went that way." I heard Sharrkan say soon hearing foot steps running off. I cracked open the door and looked out in the hall.
"You can come out, he's gone." Sharrkan said opening the door. I stepped out and sighed in relief, but soon felt a wet pair of arms hug me.
"Ahhhhh, that's cold!" I yelled.
"Got you, know your wet." Alibaba said soaking my clothes from his.
"Sharrkan, you traitor." I pouted making tears form in my eyes. Both started to freak out as they saw me cry.
"Ashlin, I'm sorry, please don't cry." Sharrkan said waving his hands not sure what to do.
"Just kidding." I said smiling at him making him glare at me. I pushed Alibaba off of me since my new clothes are now soaked.
"Alibaba, I just got these today." I said scolding him. He scratched his head smiling happily. I pushed him and started to run away from him again. I was about to round a corner but stopped.
"Nice try Alibaba, but you will have to do better then that to surprise me." I said teasing him before running down the hall to Mabel's room.

What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
