《Magi Judar x Reader Oneshots》۞ Judar x Reader: Human

Let's just say that I got this idea from Fairy Tail new episodes . . .
"(First Name)! Fetch me my food and make my bed, now!" Judar ordered like the boss he is.
However, that doesn't work on you at all. "Who do you think I am? Your servant? Do that yourself," you coolly replied to him.
"Well, aren't you?"
"I just said so, didn't I?"
You and Judar were arranged in a political marriage. I know strange, right? The Magi and a magician, who happened to be a princess as well, set to get married? Just what on the earth entered the Emperor's mind when he decided this?
Although the Emperor's words are final, you didn't pay any attention to the black-haired Magi, until recently— when he started talking to you.
And now, this past week, you were always with Judar and he was always with you. The two of you becoming close as ever.
Judar sat down on a couch full of pillows as you took your place across from him, a table between you two. You placed your right arm on the table, opening and closing your hand repeatedly as you looked at Judar, smirking. Upon getting what you meant, he floated over to you. Take note, floated— because he'd take any chance to flaunt the fact that he is a Magi. As soon as he was in position, the both of you locked hands and started arm wrestling.
Both of you were struggling to bring the other hand down. No one was giving up as seconds and minutes passed by. Getting tired of this, you exerted much force as you can, immediately bringing Judar's hand down in the process.
"I'm right-handed, that's why," Judar quickly mumbled, reasoning out. He then opened and closed his hand repeatedly with a sheepish smile on his face.
Little did you know that he actually let you won that one. Although, even if you knew, you'd argue that he is just physically weak.
Slowly, both of you were falling in love with each other. You are a princess, but there was no one else who gets along with you as Judar does. And you know that Judar feels the same way.
And then there was this time . . .
As you were sitting, Judar knelt before you. You raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Is there something wro—"
"(First Name), I want to properly ask for your hand," Judar said in a serious tone, as he held out his hand. "Be my wife," he added.
Caught off guard, you stifled a giggle. This caused him to have a dumbfounded look on his face.
"I don't understand why you have to ask. Did you forget that we're already engaged?" you asked, with an easy smile sporting your lips.
"I know that, brat. I just want to—" he stopped himself from saying anything.
"Yes, I will be your wife, Judar. Just don't die on me," you answered, letting out the usual warm smile that always causes Judar's heart to flip.
Like his heart wasn't flipping a few moments ago, Judar smugly asked, "Who do you think you are talking to?"
"My future husband?" you smirked at him, to which Judar easily returned.
With that, a silent promise was formed. Well, sort of.
This time around, Judar asked you to braid his hair and out of boredom, you did. As you were finishing off the long black hair, you felt Judar's hands over yours.
Suddenly, the braid was undone and his long black hair was now tied up in a ponytail, with the balls in his hair filled with air: his usual hairstyle.

"JUDAR, YOU PIECE OF—" you weren't able to finish your sentence as Judar's hand covered your mouth.
"Come on, a princess shouldn't say such words," Judar said, sporting a smirk that irked you so well.
When he moved his hand away, you quickly crossed your arms. "The more magnificent your braid is, the better a Magi you are," you said, mimicking the way Al-Thamen tricked Judar.
"(First Name)!" Judar whined, as he playfully pressed his knuckles to your temples. As luck would have it, he's physically weak so it didn't hurt much as you thought it would.
"(First Name), come with me!" Judar suddenly demanded out of nowhere. He then began dragging you by holding your hand.
"It's been so long since we've seen each other and this is how you greet me?" you said with an accusing tone, despite the small smile appearing on your lips.
"What, you want a kiss first?" Judar inquired as he immediately leaned to kiss you. The kiss was short and quick, though— not giving you any time to process anything at all, he was just so intent on dragging you to wherever he wanted. But the blush in your face satisfied him greatly.
"Where are we?" you asked, looking around. You two are in... the back of the palace?
"Let's stroll, (First Name)!" Judar announced while smiling.
"Aren't we... already?"
"No, I mean through air," Judar said as he pointed up.
"Oh... but I can't do Gravity Magic," you said, frowning at the revelation. Truth be told, you didn't want to tell him because you didn't want him to see you as someone weak.
"Then, I'll teach you," was his quick decision. "What magic are you under?"
"Light Magic, stupid. You don't even remember after sparring with me once?"
"Your second compatibility is—"
"Strength Magic, yes, yes."
"That makes it easier," he announced and then proceeded to teach you about Gravity magic. To no one's surprise, you managed to learn it within half of an hour.
"Wait, shouldn't we have just used a carpet if you wanted to air stroll?" you asked him, almost face-palming.
"I was just thinking about the same thing," was his idiotic response, while shyly scratching the back of his neck.
You were alone with the Kou Empire Magi, leaving you with no choice but to be in charge of the breakfast. Coincidentally, you are a princess and you can't cook well and the only thing you're good at is using the knife, cutting things off and such. And so the breakfast is—
"VEGETABLES?!" Judar complained in a very loud voice.
"I'm only good at cutting vegetables, so yes. Bear with that."
"I am not eating that shit," Judar continued to protest. As he was about to stand up, you gave him a murderous glare— in which Judar complied wordlessly.
"Did I hear you say something?" your voice was seething with anger and annoyance. If he stood up, you swore at that moment, his head is off.
"I didn't say anything."
In the end, he ate the meal you prepared for him but there were still leftovers on his plate.
"JUDAR..."
"Y-Yeah?"
"Finish your food," you ordered sternly as you shoved the plate back to his hands.
"B-But... (First Name)... I'm full now and—" your glare was enough to shut him up for good.
You raised a basket of peaches to show him, "If you finish that, you'll be getting this."

His red-ringed eyes sparkled in delight at once. I gotcha! you thought as you watched him forcing the vegetables down his throat.
Days passed ever since that day, and you haven't seen Judar that much anymore.
One day, he came by and talked to you. He told you stuff about Hakuryuu— how they're going to take back the Empire from Kouen and such. It was a good thing that you were sent back to your kingdom when the death of Empress Gyokuen was announced, as to avoid you getting involved with the issues of the Kou Empire.
"So? Why are you telling me this now?" you asked him, raising an eyebrow.
"I'll be leaving you here for a while. When everything's done, I promise I'll come for you right away," Judar announced as he smiled at you, the proud and silly one he always gives.
"Alright, then," you let out a sigh. "I guess I have to wait?"
Judar smiled at you, and then he hugged you tightly for the last time until then.
With that, he bid you his greetings and flew back to Hakuryuu's side.
Time passed, honestly, you lost count of the days.
You haven't heard anything from him, not even from the Kou Empire. You were slowly getting impatient hence you decided to take matters into your own hands to pay a visit to the Empire.
It was widely declared that the war was over and it was Hakuryuu's victory. After all, he had the Seven Seas Alliance with him.
Upon arriving in the Empire unannounced, you received such treatment. Everyone was busy with their own businesses and no one paid any attention to you. Not that you care, because you were concerned only for Judar— and no one else. You could not even careless for the others right now.
At least let me see if he's doing well.
Judar...
Where are you?!
"Where is Hakuryuu?!" you screamed all of a sudden.
The surrounding soldiers immediately restricted your movements. As you struggled, you did not let them have their way with you by not giving them a good time for it, so you went as far as addressing their Emperor in a very informal way possible. "Hakuryuu is no Emperor if he can't come to see me now!"
"(First Name)-san?" you heard someone called you, which calmed you down. It has been a while since someone called you by your name. Everyone from your kingdom neglected you and addressed you as the princess.
"Morgiana?" you asked as she embraced you.
"Wh-Where is..." you couldn't find the words anymore.
Hakuryuu refused to see you. You can't see Judar no matter where you look for him. Kouen, Koumei, and Kouha aren't around anymore. The silence was deafening you badly and you began weeping because of it.
"Please, leave us alone," Morgiana said, directed the soldiers from before. She helped you walk towards who knows where.
"H...Have you heard about what happened, (First Name)-san?" Morgiana asked you with a sad look on her face.
That already tells you half of what happened.
You shook your head, trying your best to stop the tears falling from your (E/C) eyes and the hiccups that were slowly rising from your throat.
"That day, Alibaba-san and Aladdin-san went to talk to Hakuryuu-san with Judar-san on his side. It resulted in a death fight..."
In the room that you and Morgiana have entered, you saw Alibaba's lifeless body on a bed. People you haven't seen before were crying their lungs out beside him.
"It resulted in Alibaba-san's... state and Ju..." Morgiana stopped as she couldn't bring herself to say it.
"Thanks, Morgiana... But can I ask you to help me with something?"
Morgiana nodded in agreement.
"I want to talk to Hakuryuu now. Can you help me, please?"
With Morgiana's help, you managed to request an audience with the current Emperor Hakuryuu.
"Hakuryuu-san, (First Name)-san wanted to talk to you, so please..." Morgiana said, pleadingly. She then looked at you once and then turned away.
Sensing that she was about to walk away, you held her hand and gave it a squeeze. "Morgiana, stay with me..." you said. Morgiana looked surprised, but she nodded nevertheless.
You let out a breath and looked at Hakuryuu dead in the eyes, "Hakuryuu, I want you to tell me. What happened with Judar? Is he... dead?"
"I want to know why you're asking me instead of Aladdin," was Hakuryuu's response.
"Aladdin? I am asking you, Hakuryuu," you said menacingly, poison dripping from every word you just uttered.
"He was the one fighting against Judar."
"But Judar was fighting with you, Hakuryuu! Don't you dare tell me now that it's a necessary sacrifice or that shit?" you said, lips etched into an emotionally— detached straight line, though the corners dipped down ever so slightly.
"That's right, Judar's death was a necessary sacrifice. I lost many things when he was gone and no one could have replaced him." The answer was so curt and calm, and for some reason, it packed a harder punch more than you could've imagined. It was cold and condemning; it felt like a death sentence.
With shaky hands, you slapped Hakuryuu's face hard enough that it stung and your hand was imprinted to his pale face.
"Alright, I get it. Shut up," you said, wiping those angry tears that were falling freely. I can only take so much, you thought as you walked away, leaving Morgiana and Hakuryuu alone.
Hakuryuu leaned back on his seat, looking up. "What should I have done instead?" he asked himself. There was nothing else Morgiana could bring herself to say or do, so she stood there in silence.
You walked away from the Empire, not even knowing where to go. You let your legs take you wherever just not to see Hakuryuu or anyone at all.
Before you knew it, you were in front of a lake. You looked blankly at the water, staring at your reflection. All of the sudden, you saw a familiar figure on it— but when you looked next to you, no one was there.
You smiled bitterly, wiping the tears that suddenly fell from your eyes, "You broke your promise, you stupid piece of shit."
He peered at your reflection while wearing his infamous smile— the same one that has caused the entire world to fall completely in love with him. "I know."
"Why did you leave me?"
I-I lost to Aladd—
"I don't want that petty excuse! If you really intend to keep your promise, you wouldn't have fought with Aladdin in the first place!"
...
"Judar, talk to me," you begged, as your sight became more blurry due to the tears.
We're just humans, (First Name). You and I are.
"Didn't you ask for my hand? You said we'll be together and now you left me all alone here?"
I know and I can't do anything about it. That makes me just a human.
"But—"
(First Name)... I am sorry. Until the next life.
You stared as his figure started to fade away from the reflection.
You smiled, pulling out a small dagger and pointing it on your neck, "There's no need to wait."
You could have sworn that you saw him smirking as you close your eyes. "Let's see each other soon, Judar."
I will be waiting then, (First Name)...
if this didn't make you teary-eyed or shit then i don't know anymore.
this is my first time writing or attempting to write angst. anything you would like to tell me?

8 178The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.
8 185Restless Night, Pleasant Dreams
I lived my life as a dream. Waking up to attend parties with those of my elk, sleeping with the bright and pretty, leaving behind many promises and lies. I woke up from all of that nonsense. No... it is better to say that I was— shock awake.. I watched my father die like a dog trying to protect my mother. I watch my mother take her own life after my father died. I clearly remember sitting in the steam carriage, nursing a hangover. Praying for this trip to be over. I clearly remember the amber eyes and twelve foot wing span. I clearly remember the sound of iron doors being ripped open as if it was paper wall. I clearly remember other drivers screaming and the sound of collisions and explosions as people rekt in panic of escaping. I remember the death around me and the fear that gripped me. The soul stirring feeling that sent me fleeing while my parents were suck clean of blood. I remember thinking, berating myself hours later. Gripping my hair, slapping my palms into my forehead, questioning why I didn't carry my tools. Weeks pass since that time.. My guilt is gnawing at me and this pain isn't something I like. I almost feel like the man in the mirror isn't me. The me I used to be. Maybe, if I take revenge. I can put these demons to rest? Maybe, if I put these bastard in a grave. I can be someone new? Maybe, after they all die. This mirror won't haunt me with their faces?

Not only that, but mom and dad have been on edge ever since uncle returned from his latest travels. I hope everything is OK out there. Surely, my recurring nightmare isn’t a bad omen or anything, right?
