"Mommy?" Olivia walked towards her mom.

Y/N blinked and smiles, opening her arms for her daughter. "Yes, my love?" She asked once Olivia's sitting on her lap.

"How are you?" Olivia asked, smiling at her mom.

Y/N smiles tenderly, "Mommy's fine, Liv. What about my baby girl?" She asked.

"I'm great, mommy!" Olivia answered, smiling. She cupped her mom's face with her small and cute hands. "Thank you for taking care of me, mommy! I love you!" She said and kissed her mom's lips.

Y/N smiles, "Of course, I'll always take care of you, Liv. You're my life." She said.

"Here, mommy, feel my face." Olivia said and grabbed her mom's hand.

Sighing happily, Y/N gently feels her daughter's face. That's how she gets familiar with Olivia's face, but every single day she wishes that she could see her daughter's face and looked into her eyes. Her dad told her that Olivia looks like her and they have the same eye color, and she was glad. But deep down, she knows that even if Olivia would look like... him, she will still love Olivia with all her heart. That's her daughter, it was simple as that. Her daughter.

Y/N smiles when her daughter giggle, she slightly pinched Olivia's cheeks. "I love you."

"I love you too, mommy!" Olivia said, smiling widely. "You know mommy, I'm very happy that you're now friends with Mama Scarly! She can make you smile and I love seeing you smiling."

True to Olivia's words, it's been a few days and Scarlett and Y/N's friendship is going well. Y/N appreciates how helpful and gentle Scarlett is, and she's always smiling and laughing around Scarlett. Y/N feels good if she's being honest. It's been so long since she let someone in, and she knows that Scarlett is genuine. She can feel it.

And Scarlett is making an effort to hang with her. She knows Scarlett is currently filming for an upcoming movie, but she still makes time so they can hang out. It's also good that Rose and Olivia spend more time with each other now. Those two love each other so much; it's so adorable.

"I am happy, Liv." Y/N said, smiling. "Scarlett is a good woman, she's an amazing friend."

Olivia nodded her head, smiling. "That's right, my mommy! So keep being friends with Mama Scarly, okay?"

Y/N chuckled and nodded her head. "Okay."

"Me and Rosie have been thinking, mommy." Olivia giggled. "We should all live together so we can always be with each other! And since you're now friends with Mama Scarly, we can totally do that, right?"

"Oh," Y/N raised her eyebrows. "Well, that's really cool, baby, but that's not how it works. We're all just friends and sometimes, friends don't need to live together, they can just take turns going to one another's houses. Like what we've been doing with Scarlett and Rosie." She explained.

Olivia hummed, "Really? But we asked Mama Scarly and she said it's fine."

"Oh," Y/N said for the second time. "Really?"

"Yeah, mommy. She said that it's a cool idea and maybe she can take care of you better if we all live together." Olivia said, smiling. "So I think it's possible, mommy."

"Wow," Y/N said and chuckled softly, that actually melted her heart. "I mean, maybe, my love. Maybe someday, yeah?"

Olivia smiles, "Someday, mommy!"

Y/N smiles, "Alright, are you done with your homework?" She asked.

"Yes, mommy! All done!" Olivia said, smiling widely. "Don't worry, mommy, if I don't know something in my homework, I'll ask you!"

Y/N smiles, "And you finished all of it without asking mommy?"

"Yes!" Olivia answered, proud of herself.

"Such a smart girl!" Y/N said and hugged her daughter.

"Of course! I'm like you, mommy! And I'll be a doctor too when I grow up!" Olivia said and giggled.

Y/N's heart clenched upon hearing that. Olivia always says that she'll be a doctor someday, like she was. And it would bring a bittersweet memory for her. But she missed her work, she missed being a doctor, she missed helping people.

She missed her old self.

She knew she had changed a lot, but she couldn't help it. And it was a natural reaction for people that went through that. She just wished that she could somehow take her life back. She gets her eyesight back and has the chance to work again.

She was the best surgeon before, she was outgoing, she was bubbly, she was... living. But everything was stolen from her just because a man was rejected.

Don't get her wrong, she's happy with her life right now because of her daughter. But if Olivia's not there or she didn't get pregnant, she probably went insane. She's probably just a human being, breathing. Just existing and not really living.

But even though she's got Olivia, there's still some days that she feels empty. Especially when she's all alone at her home, and she's alone with her thoughts and there's nothing she can do but to listen to her head. And it's painful. She would remember that she hasn't been really living her own life ever since that accident, she's just living because of her love for Olivia. There's a lot of times that she wants to try things out, to try and live her life again, doesn't matter if big or small steps. But then her anxiety and panic attacks will follow, blocking her from doing things for herself.

She wants to live for herself. She wants to heal, she wants Olivia to be proud of her. She wants to be fully ready for the day that Olivia will start asking her all questions about her life, about her past. And she wants Olivia to know everything about her and be inspired to be a better person. She wants Olivia to be proud that she's her mother.

"Mommy?" Olivia spoke when her mom didn't say anything.

Y/N blinked and shook her head, she hugged her daughter and kissed her head. "Do what you love, baby. Mommy's here for you and I'll always be your number one supporter." She said.

"Thank you, mommy! I'm also your number one supporter!" Olivia said. "And I will protect you, I won't let anyone hurt you, mommy!" She said and hugged her mom tighter.

Y/N smiles, biting her bottom lip to stop herself from getting emotional. "I love you, Olivia. You're my life."

"You're my life too, mommy. I love you." Olivia said. "You're the best mom." She added, yawning.

"Sleep, darling. Mommy got you." Y/N whispered, supporting Olivia's weight. "Mommy always got you, little one."
