[~Prior To Huntress Meeting Evil~]

The red lass lost count of how many years have passed. How many painful years did she endure after coming forth to accept the death of her mother? Though she couldn't recall anything from the past that allowed her some recollections about her birth mother, her father had always told her stories about the white riding hood. He described her as kindhearted, gentle, and someone that he could call 'home'.

Standing in the pure white snow, rose petals flew from her sides as she stared down at the tombstone, her red cape draped around her shoulders. The girl hadn't said anything, but was there a need to? Words cannot suffice her wistful heart and melancholic mood.

The red riding hood turns herself around and begins to walk off into the frozen forest. The wooden structure of branches and limbs had blackened. Dead leaves had either withered into the sky or plunged into the large mass of snow. The trees were encased in ice and frost. Despite the cold front, the young girl continued to make her way back.

The girl told herself that spring would come, and eventually the season will come. Even though she tries to not remind herself of that person –of her mother– time was still cruel and winter felt like an eternity. She misses her mother, and just saying this makes her miss the female parent even more.

The red riding hood fought back her tears as she found herself situated in the middle of the snowstorm. Blinking back her tears, she looks up to find that she had been surrounded by large, black wolf variants: the Grimm. A pack of them surrounded the young girl, crawling and shuffling their feet.

Their mouths dripped with the crimson life force of either a human or an animal. The young girl scans all around her, and at the same time, three of the beasts rush in to devour the character. However, they were only met with the face of snow and rose petals. Confused, they looked around to find the mysterious girl. One directed their eyes on the radiant moon, and there she was, fluttering in the air with scattered rose petals and unsheathing her red artillery.

Performing a series of somersaults, she's able to accurately aim and shoot at the wolves, blasting their heads with the silver bullets loaded into her large-caliber rifle. As a wolf charged in and slashed at her with his claws, the red riding hood bounced back and altered the mechanical weapon into a massive scythe.

Catching onto a volant wind, the young girl wasted no time and began to storm in, lacerating the Grimm with her red scythe. More of them started to appear as she mowed down the first pack of wolves. There were too many to count, but the red lass wasn't worried about the abundance of dark wildlife.

She reloaded the chamber of her rifle with fresh cartridges and brought the majority of them down with a few shots. As soon as the wolf variants got closer, she leapt to the night sky and twirled her scythe in a spiral pattern. The Grimm jumped across to attack, but they were caught up with the assault and succumbed to the girl's wrath.

The lasting minutes of loud, sharp gunfire being fired and hacking sounds from the mechanical scythe propagated outward and freely into the night. Crickets and crows were the only ones still alive and active to make noise.

Walking out cleanly, the young lass spun her red caliber in her hands, getting rid of the blood stains and chunks that were stuck onto the weapon. A small smile engraved her lips as she saw the pristine state of her red artillery. Sheathing the weapon back into its original spot, the girl walked off and left the bloody massacre to be seen.

《PURE WHITE SNOW》

Today was the day where she had to endure another day of her father's malarkey. The heiress didn't mind singing and hadn't cared how much money she made with the concert, all she wanted to do is break the thick glacial period of the financial gobbledygook that her father ratted to her about.

She was kept in ice, encaged and frozen by her father's decisions and will. The man had his eyes on her, overpowering the young lass with his established superiority. The ice heiress knew of this, but didn't dare fight against his wishes. She wanted to become the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company in order to fix and reform the corruption of the family organization; and for that to happen, she had to stay on her father's good side, to build an ice casing around her true self.

Headlights and cameras flashed in the spotlight as she began to sing in front of the large audience. Everything about her –her long white hair, pale blue eyes, white clothing and accessories– it all screamed that she was trapped in ice and frost. Yet, underneath her jacket is a line of red. A color so bright screeched and bellowed out fire under her glacial deposition.

She stood in the center of the stage and continued to belt out melodic notes. Deeply engrossed in the musical composition, the ice heiress opened her eyes to see that she was no longer on stage. Instead, she found herself in front of a soulless colossus. Inside the reflective world, a large set of gleaming gray armor rose to its feet and clasped a broadsword.

With sudden and striking realization, the female flipped backwards to avoid the physical upbringing of its sword. She quickly drew out her silver rapier and slid across the room at high speed, slashing and hacking at its armor before prancing away from the giant.

Due to inertia, its heavy set of armor had proven to be a great burden to the monster as it slowly swung its sword at the Schnee heiress. Like lightning, the heiress slid across and emerged from behind, dealing several blows to the colossus. However, her attacks were futile against its armor plate, and the colorless Pneuma knocked her back with the flat edge of its blade.

Her heels skidded to a halt, she glared up at the colossus as it made the initiative to push forward, lunging towards her and pounding at the female with its sword. She managed to keep up with its attacks, but it soon wearied her and the beast was able to launch a hit, slamming its armed fist against the female meister and forcing her back.

There was a sign of struggle and blood trickled down her left eye. But, the blue-eyed heroine was unwilling to surround the battle. The dribble of blood gleamed crimson from the moonlight, and the girl utilized one of the slots on the hilt of her rapier.

Choosing a red vial, the blade takes on a rosy glow and the heroine waits until the cold-blooded brute forges closer to strike. At the right time, the girl raises her radiating weapon, diverting the attack back at the soulless creature. The brute was in imminent danger of being swept away and losing its balance. Before it could recover its equilibrium, the Schnee heroine shifts to the usage of the blue Dust.

Stabbing the blade down into the ground, ice jetted from the crystal and confined its feet. She pulls out the blade and runs toward the monster, latching onto the flat edge of its broadsword as the knight attempts to inflict a blow. Not wasting any more time, the young meister glided past the giant and bashed away its sword.

Left with no artillery, the barbarian darted across the room, aiming to punch and pummel the girl. She ducked and dodged its assault and generated an array of glyphs with her weapon. The snowflake symbol underneath the monster blasted it into the air, then another set of glyphs were shot and prorogued its movements.

The female meister bounded off the glyph and swerved, the revolving hilt altered and chose a white vial. White passages of scriptures had materialized all around the rapier. She flew down at high speed and severed the living entity. Alighting on the ground again, the singer closes her eyes, opening them back up after rendering the last harmonic note.

The audience gave an enthusiastic ovation for the Schnee heiress, clapping and whistling at the performance. Exhaling deeply, the female singer bows, then stares up at the clear sky, where the full moon shines as the brightest star. She smiles with real warmth as the moonlight slowly melts the pure white snow in her heart.

"We need to go, Blake. It's time." A Bull Faunus tells her, clutching onto his weapons: a red sword and a scabbard that also functions as a rifle. The Cat Faunus in front of him was sitting on a medium-sized boulder, peering through the cloudy sky as petals of crimson-colored lotuses fell to her feet.

She's had enough of his hopes. It became a great burden to her and she once saw his true colors, but Blake had her doubts. Was this man the same person she had once defined as righteous and faultless? They had a good start, but apparently it wore her down. They had their ups and downs, but the Bull Faunus had hope, whereas the Cat Faunus questioned aspiration and reality.

Not only did he drain her emotionally but also physically. Everyday, they raid trains and ships in gains of what? Dust? Money? Blake couldn't recall anymore — it was an endless game of seesaw. Her mentor sat on the light end, burning with red as he claimed to be delivering justice. Blake was on the heavy end, strained by the darkness as she debated whether she should leave the matter behind or take off on her own.

Blake wanted to see and confirm for herself if it was worth staying with him. Should she stay with the person that made their beginning? Or should she put an end to this once and for all? The Cat Faunus reluctantly agrees to follow the man, and they both run towards the moving train. Springing from one side to another, the duo managed to board onto the top rail.

Dropping into one of the cars, they're met with an arsenal division of androids. Sensing intruders, they quickly transformed and one of them had instructed the Faunus' to identify themselves. Unfortunately, its question was never answered as the pair demolished the robotic assembly.

With the coast cleared, Blake and the Bull Faunus reached the cargo hold. The man smirks, looking very pleased with the contents and crates. Although very shallow, the symbol engraved atop is the Schnee Crest. The red-haired male ushers the Faunus to the other side of the train as he sets the explosives, but she wasn't going anywhere without the other faction members.

"What about the crew members, Adam?" Blake asked worriedly, looking over her mentor's shoulder. His irritated tone contradicted with the noirette's unsettling voice. "What about them?" His response and body language had allowed Blake to make a decision, but she didn't dare reveal her choice.

During the spur of the moment, a spider-like droid interrupted them, dropping to the ground and aiming its firearms at the Faunus pair. Having no choice but to take it down, Adam and Blake dove forward and sawed at the droid with their blades. Yet, it was a fruitless attempt as they were shot back, crashing into a door and landing onto another flatbed filled with similar equipment.

Blake and Adam acted swiftly and picked themselves back up. "Buy me some time!" He commanded, earning an uneasy response from the female. "Are you sure?!" The Bull Faunus groaned. "Just do it!" With a sigh, she obliged and struck at the droid on her own. But the battle became short-lived as the robotic arachnid prepared for a mighty launch.

The noirette falls back and hides behind Adam as the droid hurls an energy stream at the Bull Faunus. The man unsheathed part of his sword, which is designed to absorb and retain its power. After soaking up its energy, Adam lets out a sinister laugh, his hair and attire glimmering as he drives his blade upward with one powerful thrust, obliterating the droid.

Putting his sword back into its scabbard, Adam turns around to see Blake on another flatbed, across from him. There was no need to keep repeating this dark game of seesaw. Their journey together had been dragged out for far too long. She acted like they were okay and that they were comforting each other. But in reality, Blake grew exhausted and tired of his aspirations.

This man was no longer the same person that she once knew. Even if he hadn't said anything, their relationship was darkening and sickening. They were only together because of their greed to match up with another. She didn't need to do this anymore, so she made the decision to cut things off with him. Blake was the first to get off of the black seesaw.

"Goodbye." She says softly before cutting the line that connected the train cars. Adam reached out for her with one hand, but the latter faded further into the crimson lotuses. She's no longer playing this repetitive game of seesaw.

The wind howled about the buildings as a blondette pulled up outside the nightclub. She removes her helmet and parks her motorcycle, backing the yellow vehicle into the driveway. Once finished, she sauntered into the venue. Upon her entrance, a pungent smell of alcohol and copulation filled the air and music blared through the speakers.

Couples were dancing to the music, while some people stood by the bar or in the center of the dancing floor, conversing with one another about their day and so on. As she strolled across the club to find the owner of the club, the blondette received lecherous gazes from the opposite sex. She rolled her eyes at them, unbothered and uninterested in men.

She came here in search of someone special. Whatever it takes to get intel about the whereabouts of that person –her mother– she had to try and resolve these conflicting feelings within her heart. The blondette always wondered why her mother had abandoned her. Was she perhaps a mistake? Was she a waste of life? She couldn't help but think negatively like that.

Although she was always glooming on the inside, the burning mask she puts up to conceal the partial darkness had said otherwise. The one thing that allowed her to stay zestful and exuberant was because she had no dreams. So many people were striving for their dreams, but what happens to them when things don't turn as planned? The separate reality from their fantasyland emerges and crushes them.

The blondette knew she wanted to be a Huntress, but it wasn't her dream. Traveling around the world and fighting against the Grimm was ideal, but she wanted to be surprised by the following days, months, and years. Many dangers, adventures, and events that await the girl became her holy grail.

Spotting the gentleman from afar, she notices another man next to the club owner and two females that wore different-colored strapless dresses, one red and the other a cyan. As the orange-haired man left his side, she walked swiftly to his side. The blondette grinned at the bartender and ordered a strawberry sunrise. "No ice though. Oh, and can I get one of those little umbrellas?"

The middle-aged man stole a glance at the blonde, downing his drink. "Aren't you a little young to be in this club, blondie?" He raised a brow, rotating himself to face her. The lilac-eyed blonde spun around, looking over him with a mischievous smile. "Aren't you a little old to have a name like Junior?"

He stepped closer to the blondette. "So, you know who I am. You got a name, sweetheart?" She chuckles, moving into his private space and trailing a finger down from his chest to the lower region of his body. "Yes, Junior. I've got several, but instead of sweetheart you could just call me sir!" She sharply pinched and squeezed his clothed gonads, causing the club owner to screech with pain.

Her smile fades into a slight frown as she retrieves her black scroll to show him a picture of a mysterious woman. "People say you know everything. Tell me where I could find her and I'll let you go." Junior answered painfully, "I've never seen her before! I swear!" A scowl crept onto her face, tightening her grip on his lower region. "Excuse me?" Realizing that he forgot to input the name, Junior quickly responds, "I swear... sir!"

Sooner or later, a group of suited henchmen appeared on the scene with red cleavers and artillery. The blondette was feeling smug at his humiliation and glanced at the gentlemen, then back at Junior's pained expression. "Hmm, looks like we have an audience. This must be kind of embarrassing for you, huh. Awkward!" She begins to taunt the middle-aged man.

"Listen...! Blondie, sir...! If you want to make it out of this club alive, I'd suggest you let me go! Now!" She grins and pulls her hand away from his groin. Feeling relieved, Junior exhaled deeply and glared at the blondette. "You'll pay for that!" He begins to walk away from the bar, fishing out his red sunglasses from his vest pocket.

"Oh, Junior! I was just playing with you! Don't be so sensitive!" The young lass follows him to the center of the dancefloor. He stops his tracks after hearing her persuasive suggestion. "Come on, let's kiss and make up, okay~?" Men like him were so easy to manipulate. A simple gesture or a couple of sweet words, she already had them under her spell.

"Huh? Okay..." They both lean in but as Junior nears her lips, the blondette sends him across the club, punching him with a gloved fist. Shattered glass flew over her and his henchmen. After witnessing the physical assault, the suited henchmen made their way towards the young fighter, readying their weapons. A self-satisfied smirk slid onto her face as she moved her arms, actuating a switch on her yellow gauntlets. Now fully armed, she easily overpowered Junior's henchmen, pummeling them until they became unconscious.
