《My Vampire (Book Three)》Chapter 14

I couldn't help it, I slept through the day for centuries and when I feel the sun up my body works for itself and I must have fallen asleep in Isaac's arms. When I wake up I see the moon shining brightly and I'm in a bed that smells exactly like Isaac, that dog smell, I've actually grown to like it coming off of him.
"It's all coming true..." I feel the familiar warmth building in my eyes again and Isaac dabs at my eyes with a tissue.
"What is?" He asks and I notice he's a brought a chair up to my side of the bed just to watch me carefully.
I groan as my head pounds painfully and those memories rip their way back into my head, the old woman. She knew Isaac would come for me. But what about Desi? My family. I had a family.
"You've been crying in your sleep all day." He says and dabs at my eyes again, my throat is burning more than before because of all the blood I'm losing with my stupid tears.
Why would I sleep during the day? I had chores to do I needed to help my mother!
"Where's my mother is she mad at me?" I ask sitting up but look at the strange room I'm in, practically fit for a king.
"Ada.." the man at my side says worryingly and I scream as the pain returns to my head.
"Isaac!" He gets up and finally gets in bed with me, laying me on top of his body and holding me tight, his warmth distracts me from the pain in my head.
"Ada....Ada. That's what my name was." I say and Isaac rubs my back soothingly.
"That's still your name Ada relax. Who did this to you? To your memories?" He asks sounding angry and I whimper when memories of Desiderius come back to my head.
"He must have....he's a monster." I cry reliving all the abuse he put me through and saw it as his way of loving me.
"Shh it's okay don't cry" he says and I apologize for letting my tears stain the shirt he wears. I can't let him keep seeing me like this, I look pathetic. Before Isaac can even realize it I'm off his body and in the bathroom washing the blood around my eyes.
"Jesus. Rebecca said vampires were fast, but I didn't think it was that fast." I hear Isaac say in the door way of the bathroom.
"Get used to it then wolf." I say and once again use my speed to place a kiss on his cheek before laying back in his bed. He turns around just as I find a comfortable spot to lay in.

He shakes his head and laughs and I watch as he takes his shirt off to find a new one to put on.
"Come here wolf." I say extending my arms before he can put a new one on. He gently lays over me and I trail my fingers slowly down the 3 scars, they feel so rough compared to the smoothness of the skin around it. He grabs my wrist and I realize my hand trailed dangerously low to the top of his jeans. I smile mischievously at him but his chest just rumbles with a low growl.
"What's wrong? You don't want to play?" I ask and he looks at me for a moment as if he thinks I'm lying.
"What happened here?" I ask letting my fingers trail the scars again.
"A few years ago I had to protect Crystal from a rogue and he got the upper hand and left me with something to remember how young and stupid I was." He says and I can't stop myself from trailing them up and down, they make him appear like a true warrior.
"I suppose she rewarded you for that." I say mischievously but he doesn't take it that way and growls loudly.
"Those thoughts I had for her are nothing compared to how I think about you. You're my mate." He growls and I see the brown in his eyes turning black. I decided to push his buttons even more just for the hell of it.
"A mate thats killed your brothers." I say keeping eye contact with him to watch his reaction. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes and I see him slightly shaking, I've gone too far.
I lift my hand to touch his cheek when he grabs my wrist roughly and slams it back down on the bed. He grabs my other hand and now has me pinned down against the bed, I could easily break lose, but i let him be. He needs to release his anger.
He opens his eyes and I see those black eyes of his wolf again. "I'm sorry Isaac. I didn't know you or who they were. I would have let them live." I say truly meaning my apology.
His eyes don't change and he continues to growl at me.
"Isaac..." I say softly and try to wiggle my hand away from his grip, he notices and growls even louder.
I grunt softly when out of nowhere he sinks his canines back into the same spot where his mark healed off my neck.
"Isaac!" I cry feeling this amazing warmth wash over my body making me clench my thighs together. I moan as he growls against my skin and I feel like I'm floating again. I smile as the warmth spreads between my legs and I finally break free of his hold on my arms to drag my nails against his back. He sinks his teeth deeper and thats all it takes to push me over the edge. I cry out and arch my back, letting my chest press against his. He finally pulls his mouth away and I moan quietly as the sparks of my orgasm still jolt through my body.

"Did you just..." I nod my head, answering his question before he could finish.
"I've never had one like that.." I say almost as a whisper. He growls and I whimper feeling his mark heal on my neck again and the warm feeling is lost.
"Never?" He asks and I see his eyes returning to their normal color. I shake my head again and place my head in between his neck and shoulder moaning quietly.
He growls and gets up from the bed taking his warmth with him.
"I wanted to hurt you." He says and I sit up and stare at him and shrug my shoulders.
"You would not be the first person to wish for my death." I say and get up to get closer to him, I miss his warmth. My throat is starting to burn again, it hurts to talk but I don't want to tell him and interrupt whatever he has to say.
"Don't remind me of my brothers. I decided to try and forgive you for what you've done. I won't say that same about my mother." He says and I glare at him.
"Why does she even have to know?" I ask crossing my arms.
"She deserves to know what monster killed her sons." He spits out in anger and I know he regrets the moment the words leave his mouth but that doesn't stop me from attacking him and knocking him off his feet. He growls and tries getting up and I only push him back down again moving to different sides of the room each time with my speed so he can barely keep up with where I am.
"Ada." His voice sounds like a father scolding his child. I decide to stop playing with him and kneel by his side as he lays on the floor knowing that if he tries to get up I will easily push him back down.
I lean my head over his and I notice his eyes aren't angry anymore but more full of sorrow. I stare at him fuming with anger but not finding the words to lash out at him. My eyes widen in surprise when I see a drop of my blood land on his cheek.
"Your nose is bleeding." He says and I lift my hand to wipe it and see that he's right. He sits up and I let him as puts his hand on my thigh.
"I haven't eaten." I say quietly and he nods his head understanding and brings his hand up to my mouth. I push it back immediately.
"I don't want your blood." I hiss at him and run out the bedroom and front door before my name even leaves his mouth.
His blood won't help, those memories will come back even stronger. They can't be true. Desi saved my life he would never....my thoughts are interrupted when somehow someone has caught up to me and has tackled me to roll around in the dirt and leaves of the forest ground. I growl and stand up ready to drain my attacker when the familiar scent hits me immediately.
"Desi." I gasp feeling my eyes heat up. He's wearing a tailored black suit that looks unaffected by our struggle in the dirt. His hair is combed back neatly, its shorter and reaches the bottom of his neck now. He smiles at me and opens his arms ready to embrace me. I do so willingly but hold my tears back. The memories fight back to my mind as I take in his scent. I groan and slowly sink to my knees in front of him holding my head.
"What's happened to you?" He hisses and looks down at me. I look into those glowing blue eyes and don't hold back my tears, he had that same look in his eyes when he raped me. When he confessed to killing my family, when he tried to erase my memories.
"They're back." I growl at him and extend my fangs. He growls back not liking my show of anger.
"I know what you've done!" I scream and lunge at him to attack.
I'm a fool. He's almost a thousand years old, I had no chance against him. He grabs me by my waist and throws me to the ground harshly and jumps on top of me and holds my wrists down and hisses at me.
"Someone has been messing in here." He says and leans his forehead against mine.
"I'll have to fix it again." He kisses my forehead and I struggle even harder to fight against him as that familiar pain starts coming back to my head.

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online
