《Control [Carlisle Cullen]》+ bonus

Eleanor's body trembled, her growing anxiety causing her to shake as she wrung her hands together. After almost four years, Eleanor had finally graduated college with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She had been thrilled when she had walked across the stage a few months prior, but now all she felt was nerves.
Carlisle had brought her back to Isle Ellie a few months after graduation. After talking about it for nearly a year, Eleanor was ready to accept the change into a vampire.
She didn't realize how nerve-racking this experience would be though. Carlisle had left her alone to prepare for her final moments as a human, leaving her in the bedroom with her nerves. They had decided Isle Ellie would be the best place for the change, to give her a little time to adapt.
Eleanor took a deep breath as she sat on the bed and placed her hands in her hair. Her mom and Jess had been told that her and Carlisle were going away for a while and wished them the best on their trip. Ellie was hopeful that she would be able to control herself around them, just like Bella had with Charlie.
She jumped when Carlisle knocked on the door and entered the bedroom. Her lips formed into a tight smile as she untwisted her hands from her hair. "Hi."
"Hi." Carlisle leaned down to press a kiss to Eleanor's forehead before sitting next to her and entwining their fingers. "I can practically feel your nerves from the other room."
Eleanor breathed a laugh. "Sorry."
"Don't be." Carlisle said. "It's okay to be nervous."
She nodded, laying her head on his shoulder. "What if it doesn't work?"
"It will." Carlisle told her, voice hopeful. "This isn't my first time doing this, you know?"
"I know." She nudged him. Carlisle leaned back slightly to look at her. His amber eyes were warm and comforting, enough so that Eleanor was relaxing against his side. She could feel her anxiety melt away, especially when Carlisle's hand cupped the side of her face.
"We can wait longer if you want to El." Carlisle said but she shook her head quickly.
"No." El said, locking eyes with him again. "I'm twenty-three now, and that's when you were turned. We're doing this now."
Carlisle sighed deeply, leaning forward to kiss her lips. He felt familiar and, though his body was cold, Eleanor could feel her body growing warm. Carlisle's own lips broke away from hers to trail kisses down her jaw to her neck, right where he would bite her.
Eleanor felt her heart jump, causing Carlisle to pull back. He lifted in brow in question, but Eleanor only gulped, feeling her anxiety rise once more. She closed her eyes, fisting her hands in Carlisle's shirt before nodding stiffly. "Just do it."
Carlisle's lips were on her cheek, kissing the side of her face before trailing down her jaw. Eleanor felt herself relaxing under his touch but kept a tight grip around his wrist and shirt. She had tried asking Bella if the change was painful but the girl didn't remember any part of it.
Rosalie and Alice said it was painful at first but then faded out into nothing. She wasn't looking forward to the pain, though she was excited to spend eternity with Carlisle.
Carlisle's hand moved to the back of her head and, before Eleanor could think of anything else, his teeth broke her skin. The pain was unbearable - it felt as if Carlisle had just set her entire body on fire and Eleanor cried out. A rolling wave of scarlet escaped from El's body and Carlisle was pushed away from her. Before El could reach out for him, she fell back onto the bed, drifting into unconsciousness.

Fire.
It felt as if her entire body was burning. She could feel it traveling through her veins and into each part of her. This burning was the only thing she could think of, only think she could concentrate on. It started at her feet, traveling up her legs before the fire spread to her finger tips.
The burning pain licked at her sides though paused at her chest, instead moving up her neck and towards her head. Eleanor wanted to scream and thrash around - this was the worst pain she had ever felt - but her body wouldn't move and her mouth wouldn't open.
Just when Eleanor thought that it couldn't get any worse, the venom began to spread to her heart. She felt the venom slow, dragging the burn to a slower pace and grip at her insides. It crept towards her heart with each dying beat. A burst of heat exploded throughout her body and then it was over.
She opened her eyes.
It was bright, nearly blinding but Eleanor didn't feel the need to blink the light away. She moved her eyes to the left, noticing she was in her and Carlisle's bedroom still. The large windows showcased little dust particles that she had never noticed before and she could hear the faint sounds of bugs and waves from where she laid.
El moved her eyes to the right now, looking at the loose strings on her bed and the pieces of sand on the floor. She pushed herself up, feeling lighter than she ever had in her life. She lifted her left hand in front of her, noticing she was much paler and a section of her skin was shining like diamonds from the small sliver of sun in the window.
Her ring was shining too and Eleanor admired it even more in the new light. When she moved her eyes from the ring to look around more, she caught sight of Carlisle leaning against the bedroom door.
A wide grin split across her face and she stood to greet him. She was by his side in a moment and the sudden flash of movement made her pause for a moment. He was even more beautiful than Eleanor had thought when she was a human. His skin didn't feel as cold anymore and she smiled at the thought.
Carlisle gripped her hand and her chin, turning her face towards his. The soft smile that was on his face fell and Eleanor furrowed her brow. "What's wrong?"
"Your eyes." Carlisle murmured. "They're blue."
"What?" She asked, spinning out of his grasp to stand in front of the mirror in their room. Eleanor gasped when she saw herself - she looked beautiful. Her skin was pale white and smooth, free of any scar and blemish that she had had before. Her body was slimmer, some of her features more exaggerated but not in an unflattering way.
But her eyes were blue.
"What?" She whispered again. Everything else about her proved that the change was successful but not a single spot of red showed in her eye.
"I've never seen this happen before." Carlisle appeared behind her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "Every newborn has red eyes."
"Maybe it will change when I feed." She said and swallowed for the first time since she awoke. Her throat caught on fire, similar to the feeling of venom spreading through her body. "Which we should do soon, please."
Carlisle chuckled at her but nodded. He gripped her hand again before leading her out of the house. She was amazed by how different her senses were now. She felt as if she could see, hear, and smell anything.

The ocean was her favorite thing to see so far. It twinkled and shined in the bright sun, the color as light as the sky above.
Carlisle led her into the jungle on their island at a normal pace. Neither of them wanted to hurry as Eleanor explored. She wanted to see everything and she was in awe by nearly everything she saw. Carlisle pulled her to a stop and came to stand behind her.
His lips trailed over the scar on her neck and El shivered. She felt him grin against her skin before he spoke. "Listen to your instincts. Follow what you want."
She closed her eyes, listening to the sounds of nature around her. Eleanor nearly forget what she was doing as she listened - the sounds of animals and water running was amazing to her and she didn't want to stop.
But then she heard the sound of heavy paws landing on leaves and her eyes snapped open.
Eleanor rushed forward, running through the forest at a supernatural speed. Her senses were leading her right towards this animal and she could feel her thirst growing the closer she became. She could hear Carlisle running behind her but ignored him, pushing her legs to move faster.
She stopped right behind a tree, peeking out from behind it. A large jaguar sniffed around the area, clearly looking for its next meal. Eleanor didn't know how to approach it and looked at Carlisle for assistance.
"This is all instinct now, El." He reassured her, quietly. "It may be clumsy but you'll know what to do."
She nodded, taking a deep breath which only increased the burning in her throat. An idea popped into her head and she grinned, wickedly. With a twist of her hands, the jaguar's neck twisted and it fell to the ground.
"Well." Carlisle's voice was light and Eleanor could hear him chuckling as she walked towards her prey. "That was the easiest hunt I've ever seen."
"Just full of surprises today, hmm?" Eleanor grinned at him before crouching next to the jaguar and sinking her teeth into its neck. She drank as much as the animal would give her before sitting back.
The ache wasn't nearly as bad but she could still feel a burning in her throat. She sighed, wiping her mouth with the back of her head before staring at her husband. His face was stretched in a proud smile as he leaned against the tree with his arms crossed over his chest.
"I'm still hungry." Eleanor huffed.
Carlisle moved towards her and Eleanor stood. "You will be until you feed a few more times. If you fed on a human, you would be much more satisfied. It's taken Jasper fifty years to adjust to our diet but he had worse newborn years."
"Fifty years of this?" Eleanor complained, placing her head on Carlisle's chest. He groaned, rubbing the area around where El's head was. She apologized under her breath and Carlisle kissed her head.
"You should be able to control your thirst a lot better than Jasper has. It's different with every newborn - Bella and Esme were great. Emmett struggled a bit but he got the hang of it after about a year." Carlisle said, trying his best to reassure her. "Come on, let's find you a few more things to eat before we go back."
After Eleanor's thirst was thoroughly quenched, the married couple found themselves back to the house. The sun had dipped beyond the horizon and the sky was painted with colors of pink, yellow, and orange - Eleanor felt as if her breath was taken away as she watched the colors change.
Everything was so different now that she had been changed and a part of her wished that she had done this years ago. Though she was glad she had maintained her humanity throughout college.
She sighed as Carlisle nosed the side of her neck and gently wrapped a hand around the wrist that held her waist. She had already learned to be careful with her new strength when she touched Carlisle, keeping in mind that she could injure him with too much pressure.
"You've done amazing today, Eleanor." Carlisle murmured against her skin, causing Eleanor's eyelids to flutter. "You'll learn how to control your thirst in no time."
"I hope so." She said with a hum. The two of them stood in the stand as she sky continued to grow dark. "I hope I have enough control to see Mom and Jess again."
"You will." He promised. "It'll just take some time."
Eleanor fell silent, rolling through the day's events in her head. She was still shocked that her eyes had stayed blue after the change and wondered if she was having a delayed response or if they'd change after she adjusted to the animal diet.
She hadn't had a chance to test her abilities other than during her first hunt, since Carlisle insisted that she should actually try to catch something, but she was curious. Her abilities were strong as a human and she assumed that she would be unstoppable as a vampire.
She smirked - her and Emmett would absolutely have a field day once she learned control.
"What are you thinking about?" Carlisle's voice was full of amusement, obviously having caught the growing grin on his wife's face.
Eleanor huffed a laugh as she turned in his arms. "Do you think my abilities will get stronger?"
"It's possible." Carlisle answered, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "When you're changed, your greatest strengths are usually amplified."
Eleanor turned her head and looked around the small area they were in. The ocean was still in front of them, small waves just lapping at the shore. Eleanor could hear the small feet of crabs shuffling through the sand as they stood there. The only lights came from the moon and the house.
She twisted in his arms again, pulling away from him and moving further into the jungle. Trees swayed around her, the leaving lightly brushing in the gentle breeze. Small animals hopped between the palms, squeaking as they played.
Carlisle followed behind her, his footsteps quiet against the sand. He didn't stand too close to her, curiously waiting to see where she was headed. After walking deeper into the trees, Eleanor stopped and closed her eyes.
She could feel the gaze of Carlisle on her as she listened but he didn't say a word. Before she did anything, she wanted to make sure there were no animals around that stood the chance of getting hurt.
With an idea swirling in her head, she held her hands out to the side and opened her eyes to watch the scarlet tendrils float into the trees. They were a deeper scarlet now, different to the light color they had been as a human. When the forest fell silent around her, she faced her palms to the ground and pushed.
What used to be thin rivers came out as thick waves and Eleanor watched in awe as her magic wrapped around the roots of the trees nearest to her. Wood groaned underneath the power and a small tree to her left snapped in half.
She angled her palms slightly and watched as the roots were ripped from the ground and began to rise. The area she was in was dark red against a black background and Eleanor reveled in the sight.
Carlisle appeared in front of her suddenly and Eleanor watched as his proud expression morphed into one of wonder. He moved his hands to her face, careful to not get in the way of her magic.
"Your eyes are glowing, Eleanor." He murmured, taking in the sight of scarlet red eyes, more vibrant than he had ever seen them. He stared at her in a way that made her feel warm throughout her entire body and Carlisle smiled. "You are radiant."
They stumbled into the house in giggles, not bothering to kick the door shut behind them. The lights were off again as they stumbled through the house, too caught up in one another to really see where they were going.
Every emotion was heightened now and Eleanor felt overwhelmed with how much she was feeling. The kisses Carlisle placed on her skin tingled in a way they never had while she was human.
They had been intimate before, but this was different. While it had always been passionate and full of love, Eleanor had never felt this electric in her entire life. Every touch Carlisle placed on her skin felt like a spark and she was ready to catch on fire.
Carlisle pushed the door open to the bedroom and the two of the flashed through the room before they ended up laughing together on the bed. They laid side by side for a moment and Eleanor took the chance to observe the man in front of her.
His amber eyes were dancing with happiness and Eleanor bit her lip to hide her smile. His skin was free of any imperfection and as smooth as marble underneath her touch.
"What are you thinking about?" Carlisle asked and, though his voice was hushed, Eleanor could hear him perfectly.
"How beautiful you are." She answered, easily. "I knew it as a human but as a vampire..."
"You're one to talk." Carlisle teased. "You're stunning."
A kiss. "Radiant."
Another. "Exquisite."
Another, longer, heavier on her lips. "Perfect."
Eleanor straddled his waist before he could say another word and placed her lips on his. Her hands tangled in his hair, just like they had done a million times before. Carlisle placed his hands on her hips and pulled back just slightly. "I love you."
Warmth flooded her entire body and Eleanor shyly smiled before she kissed him once more, fully giving herself to him.
