《Control [Carlisle Cullen]》0.8

The Cullen house was filled with a tense silence during the passing days. The day after Bella had passed had been interesting, to say the least. Eleanor had never imagined Edward to be a hostile man, but he had snapped at anyone who tried to speak with him. He couldn't even look at Renesmee.
While everyone was certain that Bella had venom inside her, they were uncertain that she was going to wake up. Until the next day, of course.
Eleanor was the first to notice the changes. It started with her skin. Instead of the shallow, purple skin that adorned her body, she now had beautiful creamy skin covering her. Her hair changed next - the once thin hair had transformed into a thick, brunette mop on top of her head.
That's when Edward started to interact with Renesmee.
The newborn grew at an alarming rate. No vampire in the house had ever seen anything like it, including Carlisle. It frustrated him to no end- the man hated not being able to figure things out.
Jacob was terrified of her growth. Instead of looking like a newborn, Renesmee looked to be a few months old. He was scared that his imprint wouldn't have a long life, and that he wouldn't have a lifetime to spend with her. Eleanor thought it was a little weird that an eighteen year old had imprinted on a baby, but at least he would move on from Bella.
Eleanor sat on the window sill with her legs crossed and hands delicately placed in her lap. Her head was tilted to the side as she watched Bella's transformation. It was unreal how fast her body changed in the past few days. Carlisle had told her that it would only take three days for her to change. It had only been two.
"Eleanor."
The witch moved her eyes from Bella to Alice's hands. She eyed the hairbrush momentarily, then looked back at Alice with a raised brow. Alice smiled, "brush her hair. We want her to look great for her birthday tomorrow."

Eleanor gave Alice a look, "she's dead. There's no reason for her to be celebrating anyway."
"Don't be like that," Alice scolded, "besides, it gives us an opportunity to give her her present."
El sighed and took the brush from Alice's hand. She had forgotten about the cabin the boy's had been building for Bella and Edward. It wasn't too far from the Cullen house, but it would give the small family plenty of privacy.
The two girls worked in silence now. Eleanor moved the brush through Bella's silky hair, slowly as Alice began to place her in a royal blue dress. Eleanor glanced down at the fabric, then at Alice, "what colors do you think I should use in the wedding if we're having it in the spring."
Alice threw Eleanor a sly smile, "I thought you said you didn't want my help."
Eleanor rolled her eyes, "I didn't say that. I said I wanted to plan most of it."
Alice chuckled, "I'm just messing with you. What's your favorite color?"
"Red," Eleanor answered quickly, "but you can't use red in a spring wedding."
The vampire pursed her lips, "what about a light pink and white?"
Eleanor sighed, her hands pausing in Bella's hair. She tried to picture her wedding venue, "what about peach and grey?"
Alice thought for a moment, "that'd be pretty. You could do peach and white and we could hang white flowers from the trees or something."
"That kind of reminds me of Bella's wedding, honestly," El told her, "anyway, we have plenty of time to think of colors. I'll look up decoration inspiration whenever I get the time."
"You might want to include the groom in some of the planning," Eleanor whipped around to meet Carlisle's teasing gaze.
She grinned widely, "I thought we could have one of those weddings where the bride picks everything."

Carlisle hummed and pulled Eleanor away from Bella, "I don't think so."
El giggled and reached up to peck Carlisle's lips, "I'm joking. We were only talking about colors anyway."
She studied her fiance for a brief moment, and a soft grin fell upon her lips, "you look really good in light blue, though."
"And you look really good in red," Carlisle winked.
Eleanor raised a brow, "but I'm not wearing a red dress, Carlisle."
"We'll incorporate it in there somewhere," he teased, and leaned down to capture her lips once again.
Day three. Bella would be waking up.
The entire family - and Jacob - sat in Carlisle's office, where Bella was still being held. She looked beautiful. Apart from her dress, her hair laid behind her in waves and a soft brown eyeshadow laid upon her eyelids.
Eleanor didn't realize how beautiful Bella would get when she changed. It wasn't like she wasn't before, but as a vampire, she was glowing.
Bella's daughter laid in Eleanor's arms as the witch cooed at her. Renesmee watched with wide eyes as Eleanor waved her fingers in front of the baby. Renesmee reached up to grab the scarlet waves, but Eleanor pulled them away before she could.
Carlisle watched the two of them silently, wishing there was some way that he could give Eleanor a family. He felt selfish taking away her choice. His fiancée looked up at him with a grin, and he mustered one back. Eleanor frowned at him.
She proceeded to give Nessie to Rose, and then moved over to Carlisle. She grabbed both of his hands, and opened her mouth. However, before she could speak, she heard Alice gasp and turned to look behind her.
The vampire's eyes laid on Bella's form. Jasper, Emmett and Esme now focused their attention on the new vampire. No one moved, and Eleanor's breath hitched in her throat as she waited for Bella to wake.
It happened suddenly; Bella's eyes snapped open in an instant, and Eleanor jumped at the color. Blood red eyes stared up at the ceiling in confusion, and then Bella focused on Edward.
Carlisle nudged Eleanor's waist, and guided her to the staircase. She could hear the rest of the family behind her, as the lot moved down the stairs. Eleanor grabbed Carlisle's hand, and tugged him to the side.
She waited for the rest to pass by them, then narrowed her eyes at the doctor, "what's wrong?"
He shook his head, "nothing, my love. Let's go finish up the cabin."
"Carlisle," Eleanor tugged him back to her with a stern look, "what's wrong?"
Carlisle stared at Eleanor for a moment, before sighing, "seeing you with Renesmee made me realize how much I'm taking from you. El, you're not going to have a normal life. You won't be able to have children."
"That's what we all thought," she teased. Carlisle closed his eyes, and shook his head again.
Eleanor frowned, "Carlisle, I don't care about that stuff. I don't care about having children, or growing old. Hell, I've never had a normal life, and that's not going to change! I want you."
"Are you sure?" He asked, "because once I change you, there's no way to turn back."
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life," she breathed, and gripped the back of Carlisle's neck, "I love you."
"I love you more," Carlisle smiled.
"Not possible," Eleanor grinned, "and besides, if I ever did get tired of you, I could just run away to the Volturi, and become one of them."
Carlisle narrowed his eyes at her, "very funny."

8 929Kingmaker
This story is on hiatus/abandonned. People die, then that's all... or at least, it should be that way. There may be anomalies, yes – the occasional hero of old getting reincarnated for some obscure purpose – but who knows what the gods are thinking. If they are thinking at all. If there are gods, to begin with. What would explain such a mistake, then? The hero mark wasn't given to our reborn champion, but to his perfectly normal sister. A prank from these mindless gods, perhaps. Luckily for him, he was done with this hero business and had other plans for his new life, so it's all good... Here is the story of one who isn't meant to stand among heroes, kings and emperors anymore, yet will find himself holding power over them.

A decade later, only a few humans remained, holed up in the last stronghold left. Frank was one of them, his survival as much luck as it was ability. As the final assault broke through their defenses, he felt the end approach. He accepted his death, only to wake up at the beginning. Can he change his fate? The fate of his species?
8 188Gaijin
Gaijin means outsider or foreigner. That goes doubly so for David Wyatt after he found himself in a world being chased by something that looked eerily like a stereotypical Japanese Oni. Now, he has to figure out how he can find his place in a world where most people dislike him on principle. At least everything is also out to eat him in some way… wait, that’s a not a positive. This is a Eastern Fantasy GameLit story. It is primarily told from the main character's perspective with the very common trope of an isekai. There will be my own spin on things, so facts I pull from eastern mythology and legends will be drastically different in some aspects. In the end, this story is just for your and my enjoyment. There will be guaranteed chapters every Friday at 15:00 CST, and I will randomly post chapters at other times when I get in the mood for writing or when I like a particular scene.
8 459An epic of Feelings, Order and Cheaters
A world where magic is not controlled by mages and sorcerers, but instead woven into every day life, lending it's power to those who have a Will stronger than reality. Orcs, pushed into banishment to a land far too small for their people, Dwarves who sing to bring down walls, and Humans who stand against immensily more powerful enemies through the power of lying and decieving.
