《Control [Carlisle Cullen]》1.1

Tense silence sat heavily in the air. Jessica and Eleanor sat inches away from each other at the kitchen table. Jess avoided eye contact at all cost, while Eleanor awaited her words, tapping her fingers on the table.
Eleanor stared at her twin, waiting for her to say something. Jess only stared down at the table, wringing her hands together. That was something they would always have in common; whenever they were nervous, they wrung their hands together.
"How did you do that?" Jess broke the uncomfortable silence, "like what are you?"
Eleanor sighed, trying to find the words to explain herself, "you know how I smashed that mirror when we were ten?" she started, "that's when I developed them, I guess. I have no idea how they happened, or why, but I'm kind of grateful for them now."
She smiled when she thought back to the conversation her and Carlisle had a year ago. He hated himself for being a vampire at first, but now he was grateful. She was just the same because of him and his family.
"Yeah, but that doesn't explain what you are," she huffed, "like what all can you do?"
"Mental manipulation, telekinesis, energy manipulation. Stuff like that," she then thought about what Jane said to her, "I guess you could call me a witch."
"A scarlet witch," Jess mumbled.
Eleanor furrowed her brows, "what?"
"Your powers are scarlet," Jessica explained, "so you could call yourself the Scarlet Witch."
Eleanor smiled, thinking over the name Jess gave her, "you're an actual genius, Jessie."
"I've been told," her twin chuckled, staring at Eleanor for a moment, "I'm sorry for freaking out."
"You had every right to," Eleanor shook her head, "I mean it's not exactly normal. Thanks for not telling mom, by the way."
"I thought about it, but I figured you wouldn't want her to freak out either," Jess admitted.

"No, I wouldn't."
The two sat in silence, again. It felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off of Eleanor's shoulders. Her sister wasn't scared, or freaked out. She had been incredibly understanding and nice about it... after she had a few days to think.
"Can I see them?" Jess asked suddenly, surprising her twin.
Eleanor laughed, and opened her palm. She twirled her fingers, and began to show Jessica her powers.
Eleanor walked up to the Cullen house with a huge grin on her face. She had been in a good mood all day and she was determined that nothing would ruin it for her.
After the battle, Eleanor and Jacob had finally made up. They both decided that they were being petty, and Jacob apologized for what he said to her and Bella. After patching things up with her and Jess, she felt invincible. It was like her life was coming together.
"Hello!" She said, in a singsong voice, as she entered the house.
The house perked up at her tone, happy that she was in a good mood. She had been pretty depressed since she first showed Jessica her abilities.
"Hello!" Emmett replied, waving over at the girl.
Eleanor plopped down next to Carlisle, and reached up to kiss him, "hello, sweetheart."
"What's got you in a good mood today?" Carlisle chuckled, wrapping an arm around Eleanor's shoulders.
"No kidding," Rosalie smirked, "I feel like I haven't seen you this happy in ages."
"Me and Jess talked," she told them all.
"Yay!" Alice grinned, walking over and pulling Eleanor into a hug, "how'd she take it?"
"I'm guessing pretty well," Esme said, winking at El.
"She took it a lot better than I thought she would," El admitted, "we even came up with a name to call myself."
"Really? What is it?" Emmett asked.

"The Scarlet Witch. Because Jane called me a witch and my powers are scarlet," she said.
"Badass," Emmett told her, causing her smile to grow.
"What's awesome?" Bella asked. Her and Edward walked into the living room, returning from God knows where.
"Eleanor is going to call herself the Scarlet Witch now," Esme told her.
"Cool name," Edward teased her.
"Anyway, we've got some news," Bella glanced at Edward, suddenly blushing. She held up her left hand, showing off a massive engagement ring, "we're getting married!"
"Shut up!" Eleanor jumped up from her seat and rushed over to the couple. She grabbed Bella's hand, examining the ring, "you picked a nice one, Edweirdo!"
"I thought I told you to stop calling me that," Edward rolled his eyes, fighting a smile from forming on his lips.
"Like that would stop me," she teased. Eleanor dropped her hand, and pulled the girl into a hug, "congratulations, you two."
She then hugged Edward, "I'm happy for both of you."
Carlisle stood beside Eleanor, and grabbed Edward for a hug, "congratulations."
"Thank you, Carlisle," Edward said. He pulled away from the older vampire with a thankful smile.
"Eleanor," Carlisle held out his arm, "walk with me."
She rested her hand in the crook of his arm. Eleanor shot one more smile around the room, before walking with Carlisle. They headed down to his office, and once inside, Carlisle shut the door behind them.
He pushed her back up against the door, and locked his lips with hers. Her lips moved against his, slowly, enjoying the feeling of his mouth against hers. It seemed like it had been forever since the two had a moment to themselves.
Eleanor pulled away from him with a smile. She couldn't seem to wipe it from her face.
"I have something for you," Carlisle whispered.
Eleanor raised a curious brow, and followed Carlisle over to his desk. She lowered herself onto his lap and watched him pull out a folder.
"What's this?" She asked, toying with the edge of the folder.
"Look through it," he instructed.
Eleanor opened the folder, only to be met with pictures. It showed pictures of a wide open house. Windows and clear doors covered the house more than the brown brick. More pictures showed pictures of the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and more.
She flipped another photo over. Now Eleanor looked at a small, private beach. Surrounding the beach was a large forest. She couldn't see more than the forest, but she didn't mind. The island was beautiful.
"Are we taking a trip?" She asked, growing excited.
"Kind of," he answered, flipping over another page.
Eleanor let out a small puff of air as she read the next words, "Oh, Carlisle." Her hand covered her mouth in excitement and she let out another breathy laugh.
The top of the paper read Isle Ellie. It gave her a list of everything that was on the island, including places around it. Her lip quivered as she read through the papers. A tear of happiness slid down her face and she turned to face Carlisle, who was staring at her expectantly.
"You bought me an island?" She asked, cupping his face.
He nodded, pressing his forehead against hers. A sob broke through Eleanor's lips, and she hugged Carlisle. He had bought her a freaking island! How many people could say their boyfriend bought them an island?
"I love you so, so, so much!" Eleanor cried, "what the hell did I do to deserve you?"
"What did I do to deserve you?" He asked with a chuckle.
She shook her head and pulled Carlisle to her lips, "you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Carlisle Cullen. I love you."
"I love you too, Ellie."

Touching Stories Of The Sahaba (ra) ..
Stories have always been a great and powerful way to Learn, Understand & Motivate our Imaan (Faith). So why not learn and experience some of the Best Stories of Islam to inspire and understand the importance of our lives...One of the ideas that made me compile this book was that Muslim parents while going to bed at night, instead of telling myth and fables to their children, may narrate to them such real and true stories of the golden age of Islam that will create in them an Islamic spirit of love and esteem for sahabah, and thereby improve their Imaan..These stories are taken from various websites, lectures and books and are well researched..These stories are not intended as biographies, but rather to provide a glimpse of the main incidents of each companion's life.
