I heard it. An echo. Almost a blast of some kind that shook my soul awake. Sitting upright I gasped for breath. Feeling overwhelmed by the pain I was feeling. The memories that rushed through my head like an ejected canon ball. My senses so mixed up I couldn't concentrate on anything else.

Hearing another blast I turn my head in the direction of it and slowly get to my feet. Standing at the window, pulling back the curtain to inspect the trailer park.

The trailer park....I remember now. I remember those bastard dogs shouting in my face. Demanding for me to tell them what I am. Like I fucking knew! I don't know!

Groaning in pain I squinted my eyes to protect them from the radiant sun. There, stood in the centre was Knox. Six foot three, broad and tall. With eyes I could drown in without complaint.....I bite my lip! My brain snapping at me for such a thought. Hormones needed a chill pill!

Taking a step back, I look around the room. Wondering where the hell I am....then I see my bare legs. The fuck!

Running my hands through my hair, wincing as I catch a cut on my head with my finger, I search horrified for my bottoms. Kneeling on the ground to rummage through the endless amount of shit.

"You're awake"

I look up. Seeing Knox towering over me. Wearing a red chequered shirt, boots and jeans. He looked as though he'd showered and the smell of man and forest was intoxicating. Making me lose myself for a moment. Forgetting who I was, where I was and who I was in the presence of.

Blinking in confusion and blushing a little at the odd situation I manage to squeak, "Hi."
