《Rosalie》7

On entering Midnight I spot Sammy waving at me from the back of the bar. Her smile shone across the dark room at me as I made my way over. I'd chosen to wear my favourite little black dress. No straps meant no bra and it hugged every one of my curves. My dark hair hung around my shoulders while a small black clutch fit snuggly under my arm. My heels clicked against the dance floor as I pushed my way through the dancing crowd to the bar.
"Wow, you look amazing!" Sammy squealed, as I leant over the bar to kiss her cheek.
"Thank you. I hope he likes it."
"Like it, he'll love it!" She grinned.
"Is he here yet?" I turn my head and search the crowd for enchanting brown eyes.
"Not yet. You know you're ten minutes early right?"
"You know I have a thing for punctuality." I giggle. My laughter died as my eyes meet Seth's. His blue eyes burned into my milky flesh. Foxy was sat on his lap possessively as his hands clutched the throne arms. His body stiff beneath his navy suit. He seemed tense, agitated.
"What's wrong with him?" I look back at Sammy. Sammy raises her brows at me and shakes her head as she prepared a customers order. "You really are blind."
"What's that meant to mean?"
"Olly called and told him you were having the night off so he could take you out. I overheard Seth and Gage talking this morning when I got here."
"Why would that bother him?" I asked, feeling like I was missing something. Why would me going on a date with an Alpha bother him? He even told me someone would come along and they have.

"But isn't it a good thing? It would strengthen the alliance."
"Yes it would. And that's the only reason he's probably letting Olly have you and not locking you away in your office right now." Sammy handed me a glass of wine. I take a sip, trying to wrap my head around it all.
"What are you trying to tell me, Sam?" I was starting to get a bit pissed at everyone's vagueness.
"He likes you." She states with a huff and roll of those beautiful eyes of hers.
"No, I don't believe it. He hasn't even spoken to me since that morning."
"You did ditch him."
"Oh god," I whine, taking a deeper drink of my wine.
"Maybe he thought you weren't interested. I mean that is a blow to the man's ego." She nods, then looks up and begins wiping down the bar. "Don't look now but here comes hunk number two."
I look over my shoulder to see Olly making his way inside. Spotting me his lips curl into a bright smile and he nods at me. I smile back and turn to go to him. But he holds his hand up and points in the direction of Seth. I glance his way to see him giving Olly the coldest, deadliest look I've ever seen the man pull. Obviously, he was not happy. Olly wasn't fazed though. He marched right up to the man and began talking. With the music I couldn't catch what they were saying but they both looked my way. I gave them a smile and a small wave awkwardly. They returned to their discussion. Seth nodded, and Foxy shuffles in his lap angrily. Her features contorted in a snarl as she glances at me. I smile back. Good, I'm glad I bother her.

Finally, Olly reaches me. His hair dangling freely around his shoulders, his t-shirt white beneath a black leather jacket. "Evening, Miss Rosalie." His brown eyes roam my face and then over my body. He licks his lips and smiles. "You look great."
"Thank you, so do you." I smile shyly. He slides his hand into mine and leads me through the crowd. "You hungry?"
"Starving." I giggle.
"Good. I'm taking you for a burger." He grins, leading me outside into the cool night air.
"Are we taking Bertha?" I joke, and he chuckles. Randomly twirling me in the middle of the street like a couple of teenagers at a disco.
"Not tonight. She's all comfy back at home with my pal. We're taking the hog." He grins mischievously as we come to a motorcycle. He hands me his helmet and I pop it on with a nervous giggle. He clips it into place for me and slides on. Holding my hand as I slide on behind him and wrap my arms around his waist. "She's beautiful." I say, admiring the purr of the engine as he starts her up.
"She is a beauty." He grins over his shoulder at me. "Hold on tight, gorgeous." I do as I'm told. My thick thighs tightening against his as I press my body against his back. I bite my lip and blush. Feeling the taut muscles beneath his clothing. Maybe this Alpha wasn't so bad after all.
