《Make You Beautiful - [Jeff the Killer x reader]》Chapter 34: training

The next morning I was awoken early and told to get ready. The training day had come. I felt my stomach turning. I wasn't ready and I felt like I never would be.

Me and Jeff descended the stairs and made our way to the kitchen.

"Aren't you excited??" Sally asked, smiling ear to ear.

"Mm... not really." I murmured.

"Don't worry, once the deed is done you'll feel much better." She comforted.

"I highly doubt that..." I whispered, more to myself than anyone else.

After looking around for some food I decided to have a bowl of chocolate cereal and some chocolate chip cookies. Hey, I was pregnant, okay?

So we ate and shortly after we got into Jeff's van and drove off somewhere.

"So... where are we going?" I asked.

"I can't tell you just now." Jeff answered.

"You just love to do that." I whined.

"What?"

"Keeping things secret from me. Not telling me what's going on." I said.

"Eh you're used to that, get over it." He simply replied. I scrunched my nose. Fine, I thought.

And so we drove silently like that for a while until we finally reached a familiar neighborhood. It was a place I used to live in when I was little. Before my mother started dating my stepdad who drank away all our money and therefor we had to move.

"That's the place I used to live in. What are we doing here?" I broke the silence.

"Do you remember a boy named Kyle?"

I nodded.

"Well, we, or you are here to take care of him." Jeff explained.

"You mean kill him?" My eyes widened. Jeff only smiled while still looking at the road.

Kyle was the boy who used to bully me when we were still kids. I never liked him, oh course, but I wouldn't ever think of going as far as killing him. I mean, everyone deserves a second chance, right?

"What if I don't want to kill him?" I stated.

"It's a part of your training. You have to. There are no other choices for you."

And with that being said, we arrived. The van stopped next to a house I knew too well. Kyle's house. We used to be neighbors. That's why his house was so familiar.

Jeff got out of the van and motioned me to get out too. I took a deep breath and did as he ordered.

We approached the front door.

"You will go in on your own." Jeff declared.

"What? What the heck am I supposed to do? And how?"

"Here." He handed me one of his knifes. "Use this. Make sure to hide it well before having to take it out."

I sighed and after Jeff got back to his van I hid the knife in my hoody pocket and hesitantly rang the doorbell. After a couple of moments the door slowly opened. A dirty blonde haired boy stood there. Kyle. He'd changed quite a bit. He was really tall now and I could tell he'd been working out. How the hell was I supposed to beat this fucking mountain down all by myself.

"H-hi, Kyle." I uttered, trying to push out as good of a smile as I could.

He frowned. "Um... (y-(y/n)?" He finally remembered me. His eyes widened. "What are you doing here?"

"U-uh... I just... well, I was visiting the neighborhood and um... I happened to step by your house so I decided to say hello." Great excuse (y/n).

"But... we used to hate each other." He was surprised, but strangely, not in an annoyed way.

"Yeah, I know, but I thought that we both grew up now and that we're more mature now, so why don't we put whatever happened when we were kids behind." I suggested, my voice visibly a bit shaky.

"Hm... sure, come in." He slowly took a step back so I could come in. So I did.

"So... where are your parents." I asked, hoping that they'd be home so that I could cancel the plan. Unfortunately, they were away and Kyle was home all alone. Shit...

"Y-you can sit down." He suggested. "Do you want anything?"

"J-just water please."

While he was in the kitchen, getting me my water I took a look at his house. Going through some of the photos that were framed on the walls and some put on the fireplace. Most of them were of Kyle and some were him with his parents. He didn't have any siblings, which sucked, because I was about to kill the only child these people had. I felt my stomach turn. I wasn't ready for this. Especially seeing Kyle all grown up and mature. He was nothing like he was when we were kids. He was actually polite to me.

When the blonde boy came back with my water we both sat down on the couch. For a couple

Of minutes we sat awkwardly in silence, the only two sounds being the clock ticking and my silent sipping.

"So, how've you been?" Kyle broke the silence.

"Ive been fine. Stuff happened, but you know, I manage." I answered. "How about you?"

"Good. I'm a football captain at my school. Hoping to get a scholarship." He said proudly.

His life was so... normal, so typical. It was weird to hear about it. In a strange sense I was a little jealous, but at the same time, there was no way I could imagine myself in a normal family, with normal friends and going to a normal school like an average teenager. In just a couple of months my life changed so much. It was quite crazy.

"So, what have you been doing?" Kyle asked.

"W-well... I um..." I struggled to find an answer. There was nothing in my life that I could just share. "I tried working. Living independently." I only said.

"Oh? Why is that? Do your parents not take care of you or something." He tried joking around.

"Yeah..."

"Oh... sorry." There was slight guilt in his voice.

"No, it's fine. It helped me mature." I brushed it off.

I noticed myself trying to postpone the killing as much as I could, but I knew that no matter what, I wouldn't be able to get out of this.

"Can I use your restroom?" I asked.

"Sure, it's down that hall first door to the left." It was a narrow corridor behind the couch that we were sitting on.

I made my way to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face. I then quietly walked out and started sneaking behind Kyle, taking my knife out. Trying to hold my breath as to not breathe loudly, my heart felt like it was about to jump out.

I was now right behind the unsuspecting Kyle. As I raised my hand with the knife in it, he turned his head to me and instantly jumped out of his seat, wide eyed.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" He shouted.

Without any words I tackled him and managed to stab him in the shoulder. He groaned in pain and tried pushing me away which was a success as he was way stronger than me. After managing to restore my balance I dived in again, this time aiming for the stomach.

Fail. He grabbed my wrist and stopped the knife from colliding with his abdomen.

"What the fuck, (y/n)?! What's wrong with you?!" He yelled, still trying to hold back my hand.

I didn't answer and tried to push the knife in. But of course, Kyle pushed me away once again. He then proceeded to run upstairs. I followed and found him holding a baseball bat.

'Shit' I thought. How was I supposed to kill him now?

This time, I was the one running from him. I descended the stairs and as I was approaching the front door I heard something heavy falling to the ground behind me along with the sound of a wooden bat hitting the floor. I turned around and saw Jeff standing next to Kyle's head body. His neck was split open and he was submerged in blood.

"Great job." Jeff said sarcastically.

"Hey! He was way stronger than me. And besides. I'm fucking pregnant if you happened to forget." I pouted.

"It's fine it's fine." He smiled slightly. "It was only your first time anyway. Tomorrow you'll try again."

"Again?"

"Well, of course. You didn't actually kill this guy so.."

"Fine... But next time, pick someone who I could actually defeat, okay? Kyle was a fucking football player.

"Okay." Jeff smirked.

The next day everything happened the same way. We woke up, got ready and got into the van. Then drove for a while and this time we stopped at my old grade school.

"I hope you're not asking me to kill kids." I said sarcastically as I knew there was no way I could kill a child.

"No. You have to kill your grade school teacher." Jeff said.

"What?? Miss Jacobs? But she's always been so nice to me. I can't kill her!" I pleaded in shock.

"You have to." He stated firmly.

"But-"

"You have to." He repeated before I could say anything and this time even more seriously.

I noticed my bottom lip slightly shaking. I felt like a little kid again, as ironic as it was, since we were in a place I had spent most of

My childhood in. Except now I was supposed to ruin all those good memories I had made here. Stain them with blood.

I slowly got out of the van and started walking to the gate. The knife firmly held by my first and hidden in the hoody pocket. My hands trembling a bit. I loved miss Jacobs. I remember how I used to visit her even after I had finished grade school. We'd chat. She'd make me some tea sometimes.

Why her though? I understood why they chose Kyle, but she never did anything bad to me.

I entered the building and soon enough me and my old teacher collided who was walking out of the restroom. She was a middle aged woman. Dark brown hair and deep chocolate eyes that always looked at me with such inner light and love.

"(Y/n)! What a surprise! Child, are you okay? I thought you were dead." She said in shock.

"I'm okay." I gave her a small smile.

"B-But... I saw you on the news. How did you get away?"

"I... um. It's a long story."

"Well, come on, you can tell me everything, you know that." She assured me.

"But don't you have class now?"

"This is important, (y/n). And besides, I gave the class some individual work. They'll manage. I want to hear about what happened."

And so we made our way to the teachers lounge, which was empty due to it being the middle of the second period.

We sat down. And she asked me again to tell her everything that happened. I glanced at her sweet face one last time before sitting down on the couch next to her, quickly taking my knife out and stabbing her right at her stomach.

"I-I'm so sorry." I said through tears, my voice becoming weak. "I didn't want to do this. They forced me to." My vision was now blurry and in a way I was happy about that. I could see those eyes. Eyes full of disappointment, horror and betrayal. After a few moments I felt her body relax and as I took the knife out she collapsed on the floor.

I kneeled down to her. "I'm so sorry..." I repeated myself once again.

After a few moments of silent sobbing I stood up and quickly made my way back to the van, making sure not to be noticed as some of the blood left a few stains on my hoody.

As I got into the vehicle I saw Jeff smiling. He turned his head to me. "You did great." He smirked. But then noticed my tears. "Hey, it's fine, it's over now."

I didn't say anything. Then he just gave me a hug. And soon enough we drove off. The rest of the day I felt lifeless. Sort of empty. So I stuffed my face with chocolate (again, I was pregnant) and laid in bed for most of the day.

I hoped that I would never have to do something like this again.
