I woke up sweating and scared. It was dark the moon was shining ominously. I felt uneasy and wanted mama and papa. The nightmare had scared me a lot.

I wandered through to see papa making coffee. He turned around jumping when he saw me clearly not expecting me to be there.

He just mumbled something about being too tired. But after he came and sat down next to me. He picked me up. We walked to the door of my room but I clung onto him scared to be alone.

I didn't remember the nightmare but it had scared me enough to want to stay with papa. I clung desperately onto his neck,

He sighed turning around and going outside. Oddly he was still in his day clothing so he wrapped me up in his cape on his chest.

We looked up to the stars. He pointed to a star constellation on some sort of pan and he explained it pointed up to the North Star. He explained some other stars.

He told me one that resembled Hercules a warrior who fought hades to save a village. I giggled at the story and stated "he's a hero just like you papa".

The girl smiled happily unaware of the change of her father. His heart had seemed to melt as he held the girl close.

He talked more about the topic of the stars until the small girl fell asleep on his chest. He took her back to her bed and he to went to sleep in his own bed next to the girls mother.
