Zach's POV

It's been a week since the celebration, i already got siah's present to me but for some reason he seems awkward

And i noticed that he seems avoiding me every time he have a chance like earlier

I invited him to eat lunch with me and axle but he averts his eyes and said he'll do something so he cant

As i was in a daze i heard a knock then noel entered my study room while smiling so widely

I knitted my brow and looked at him with my usual stern face but he smirked at me

"Guess what?! siah accepted my invitation to eat with him later at the garden" he said while grinning

I frozed on my spot and subconsciously glared at him

3RD'S POV

Zach subconsciously glared at noel and fixed his posture then started to continue his work ignoring Noel's blabbering

Noel felt a heavy aura on zach so he stopped talking mid way, he observed zach intensely until he laughed out loud

"I see, you're jealous. Oh come on we'll only eat together" he said teasingly

Zach felt his nerves popped out then glared at noel "im not. Now, leave this room before ill burn you to death"

"Chill zach chill!! We'll only eat food not each other" noel smirked and continued to tease zach

As he was laughing he felt a threat towards him so he stops and pursed his lips to control his laughs

"Insolent" is the only word that came out of zach's mouth, noel grinned at him then sat on the chair in front of zach

"So about that kid"

"Siah's not a kid"

"I knowww. do you really like him so you stopped the marriage between you and princess amethyst or you just don't like the princess?" Ziah stops writing then looks at noel while raising his eyebrow as if saying noel is talking nonsense

Noel flinched and yelped "You didn't knew?! Damn i thought you're in a relationship with siah and you really like him so you decided to stop the marriage but it seems not. Then what's the reason??"

"I just dont feel like to"

"What the heck?? Ahem zach you're a king, K I N G. What are you thinking?? You need the other kingdoms support, tho it seems not since the kingdom is still well maintained after so many years without marriage"

"They supports our kingdom without marriage, marriage is just like a political business to us but i dont like that idea and they didn't mind but still continues their supports"

"Aww i see, btw did you heard about the rumor that siah will leave permanently after a year or so just after axle's curse lifts"

Zach flinched "leave?" He asked then suddenly remembered that siah already said it to him back then and he doesn't mind but now he felt something he cant comprehend but he knew he doesn't like the sound of siah leaving for some reason

"Yeah. Oh it's about time that we'll eat, ill go now byee~" noel stood up then rushed towards the garden then saw siah sitting on the chair while drinking a tea and waiting for him

Siah noticed noel by his peripheral vision, he stopped drinking and stood up to bow at noel

Noel stops him midway "come on siah! We're friends stop bowing at me, my heart hurts!" He said while gripping his clothes on the chest part and acts like he was hurt

Siah only chuckled at him then sat down again

They were about to eat when they heard footsteps walking towards them, at the right side it was zach with his usual stern face while carrying axle and at the left side it was amethyst

Siah and noel looks at them dumbfoundedly

"What?? You all aren't invited why are you hereeee? You're breaking our date, now leave! leave!" Noel signed at them like he was shoo'ing a pet jokingly

Siah chuckled at him and flicked noel's hand then looks at the three who's already beside them

Axle reached out his hands to siah while pouting "papa, let's eat together"

Siah nods at axle and smiled then carried axle to his laps, amethyst and zach sat down while noel is still throwing a tantrum

"Oh, since we're complete why dont we play a game after this" noel suggested at them

Amethyst and siah nods at him hesitantly while zach raised his eyebrow

"Oops dont be a kill joy! Join us" noel grinned at him and zach only rolled his eyes then nodded as a response

After they ate, the maids cleaned up the table then leaves with the used utensils

"What game?" Siah asks while playing axle's hands with zach

"Now now stop playing happy family there, our eyes hurts"

Siah's eyes widened and his ears reddened slightly while zach only looks at them but you can still his ears also reddened slightly

"Ugh ahem im an ex fiance here what the heck are you both doing in front of us??" Amethyst rolled her eyes then glared at them jokingly

Noel laughed at amethyst that made her glared at him

Noel cleared his throat and started to put the cards on each sides

"So you see, this cards is like your pawns. When you didn't controlled them well or think the plans properly then you lose, the remaining peeps are the winners and will dare the loser" noel explained while looking at his cards

"What the heck is that explanation" amethyst hissed at him

"tsk tsk slowpoke"

Amethyst was about to roared at noel when siah interrupted them "both of you looks close, do you have any relationship to each other?"

"Friendship!" Noel and amethyst said at the same time very quickly which made siah chuckled and smirks at them

Noel and Amethyst felt they were being teased so they glared at siah but zach glared at them

Both of them gained their composure as they starts the game

Axle already fell asleep after a few minutes while the adults are still playing
