We're now on the study room, it's so quiet that makes me nervous more. Im in front of the king while standing warily, waiting for my punishment

"You expected a punishment, right?" Zach said with full of seriousness

I stayed still then nods stiffly "yes, your highness"

"You know that not focusing and protecting the prince while in your presence will give you punishments"

I nodded again while averting my eyes

"Since it was the prince fault for leaving you unknowingly, ill lift your punishment" i sighed in relief until he continued "but, if you're going to stay of being a caretaker of the prince. Ill move you to a secluded area with him"

I hesitated a bit then looks at axle beside me who looks at me back innocently then looks at the king again, i put up enough courage to answer him "your highness, the prince may be wont like the idea of being isolated. Ill stop of being his caretaker"

The room suddenly went silent until axle's hiccups brokes it, i looked at him in bewilderment. I saw axle teared up while hiccuping "i knew it, papa doesn't like me now, he want to leave axle because axle is bad"

I pursed my lips and i was about to explain when zach interrupts us "so you knew it's your fault" he said in cold voice making us flinched

Axle clings to me hiding his face on my hips while nodding softly, my face softened and i ruffled his hair "it's fine axle" i whispered to him

He shook his head continuously until i heard him sniffing, i squatted down and held his chest both sides for support to lift him up to my chest then leaned his head on my shoulder

I carried him while rubbing his back to calm him down, i sighed then looks at the king "your highness..."

He sighed "put him on his bedroom. we need to talk" i nodded then excuses us to leave

I went straight to his bedroom by the maids guides, i laid the sleepy axle from crying on his huge fluffy bed

I ruffled his hair until he fall asleep then i went back to the study room, i knocked and he answered me to come in

"Your highness, about earlier" i stop while looking at him hesitantly

"We need you to be in a secluded area if you're with the prince, it's for the safety for both of you. You already know that a royalty's life is not always safe" i nodded at his response "i understand your highness"

"Call me by my name" i looked at him in a daze, uhm sir we're still talking about serious business, i pursed my lips to hide my smile

"If we're going to a secluded area, where will it be? I want axle to feel like he's still free so he wont be stressed out" i asked with full of concerns

"In the mountains, you can do whatever you want in there as long as you wont leave the mountains. The mountains have protections from the gods and magics to repel the rebels"

"Thank you" is the only word left from my mouth, i smiled at him and my worries has already lessened. I know it's safe as long as the king said it to himself

"When will we depart your highness?"

"Tomorrow"

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped from the ground "tomorrow?!" I exclaimed

His brow knitted but still nods

"Isn't it so early? Axle still doesn't know about this what if he cried" i asked him continuesly until he leave out a sigh that made me stop

"Let's explain it to him later after dinner" i nodded at him slowly as we stood up from our seats and went straight to axle's bedroom

Zach sat beside the sleeping axle while i leaned forward to axle, shaking him lightly to wake him up

Ahh yes, my conscience--- axle looks peaceful while sleeping how dare i disturb it

Axle groaned a bit then his eyelashes trembled as he opened his eyes slowly, he blinked twice to cleared his blurry visions

"Papa" he said softly then hugs me "papa wont leave me now right? Ill be good" his voice cracked

"Yes i wont leave you but we need tell you something after dinner ok?" He hummed as a response then suddenly realized his father's presence beside him, he looks at his father then averts it right away while clinging to me

I chuckled when i looked at zach's face, he looks like a kid who couldn't get a candy. Zach glared at me that makes me chuckled more, he rolled his eyes then leaned towards axle

"Kiddo, if you dont want to see your father then you also can't see your caretaker" he said threatening jokely at his son but axle takes his words seriously so he glared at his father "fine fine. Seriously who's the real father here" zach knitted his brows

After that we ate dinner then explained everything to axle and he understood it. Then again axle forced us to sleep beside him again, we agreed so he wont throw a tantrums

We're now in front of the gate waiting for zach so we can start to depart, zach said he'll come with us for now so he can also check the place to be still maintained

Then i saw zach fixing his clothes while looking at the paper and talking to the butler, walking towards us

When he's near us he looks at us and end their conversation as we went inside the carriage

While we're in a carriage. axle sat on my lap until he fell asleep, i hugged him so he won't fall while staring at zach who is still looking at his paperworks

I wonder how can zach doesn't get nauseous by looking at the paper while the carriage is moving

This situation stayed until we reached to the destination after an hour of traveling.
