My senses came back to me when i noticed that he's also staring at me. I averted my and looks at axle instead

I heard a sigh and he was about to speak when we heard a growl, we looked at axle who's touching his tummy while pouting with flushed cheeks

I chuckled "hungry?" I said affectionately

"Yes papa" im still not used at the word papa but nods at him and looks at the king "uhm, if youll excuse us your highness"

He stood up and fixed his things "let's go" i stared at him confusedly when i realized what it means i immediately stood up while carrying axle

We were about to get out of the room when he walks towards me closely making me stiffed but he reached out to his son then axle hugs him

I calmed down and put axle on his father's arm leisurely then we went outside straight to the dining area

The king sat on his chair and signals us to sit too, i put down axle on the chair near the king then i was about to go to the farthest chair when axle tugged my clothes again pushing me to sit beside him

I looked at the king and he nodded at me so i bowed as a sign of respect then sat down quietly

The king started to eat and i as usual i served axle his foods when i heard gasps from the maids i sudden realized that i shouldn't do it

I screamed internally. i forgot we're not in my house

I stiffened and looks at the king cautiously but he's still eating while looking at us

It feels like he's okay with it so it calmed me down and continues it anyways

I felt gazes on me that's why i didn't ate that much, i felt uncomfortable

After a while we're already done then the maids cleared up the table leaving us

The air feels intense and uncomfortable that i wanna puke but i tried to calm my self

I was about to excuse us to leave early when the rain started to pour

"Papa im sleepy" axle suddenly spoke with sleepy tone

I looked at him and nods then i carried him "your highness--" before i was about to continue it when the king suddenly speak

"Lay him down on bed on my bedroom, it's raining outside you cant go back yet" he said softly then started to walk

I followed him while carrying axle until we reached to his bedroom. The king opened the door making me flinched

Did just the king opened the door for the commoner??

I looked at him confusedly and hesitantly went inside then laid sleepy axle to his father's bed

I was about to leave when i felt a tiny hand holding my hand tightly "papa sleep with me" my eyes widened and was about to decline it, axle uses his puppy eyes that he knew i cant decline it

I pursed my lips then looks at the king in front of me, he laid down on his bed beside axle then looks at me while raising his eyebrow

I was about to speak when he said "Sleep here. Nothing's wrong with it" my mouth opened slightly out of shock

Nothing's wrong?? Like sir im a commoner here and you're a king???

"Your highness and young master, im sorry but im just a lowly commoner, i wouldn't dare to sleep beside a king and prince" i said hesitatingly but with a serious voice

Axle looks at me with pleading eyes and still wont remove his hands holding mine, the king suddenly pulled my hand making me land on his bed beside axle

I was about to react when axle suddenly hugs me then the king is still holding my hands tightly, i have no choice but to leave it be

This father and son-- so persistent

Because of this thought i suddenly chuckled out of nowhere, the both of them looks at me confusedly

I shook my head and closed my eyes. Even im beside of a prince especially a king it still feels comfortable

3RD'S POV

The young man siah has already fallen asleep while hugging the sleeping axle

The king remove his hands on siah's wrist while still looking at him cautiously

He wondered how axle became so friendly with this commoner and what is his intention to being close with a royalty

While still thinking he suddenly yawned which makes him shocked lightly

The king has insomnia that's why he was quite shocked that he's actually sleepy even if it's still early for him

He was still in a daze when he didn't realized that he already fell asleep

Morning came, siah woke up from a light knock on the door. He walks towards it and opens it

He saw a young maid with shocked eyes, they stared to each other when they heard a groan

They both look behind at the same time, the king hugging his son while rubbing his eye

The two of them cooed at this sight making the king looks at them with stern face

Both of them flinched and started to panic internally but tried their best to hide it

The maid went inside with the breakfasts, siah helps her and serves it at the king

The maid left the room cautiously while siah leaned to axle "prince wake up, you still need to eat" he said softly

Axle groaned "5 minutes papa give me another 5 minutes" he replied softly and couched over the comforter

Siah nodded "then ill go now", axle nodded slowly then suddenly realized what he means

He opened his eyes widened then hugs siah tightly "no" he said while shaking his head left to right continuously

"Then eat" siah chuckled but axle nods at him and started to eat

While the two is eating, the king cant avert his eyes from the two. He thought the sight of this was refreshing

The king smiled a genuine one unconsciously. Siah and axle widened their eyes and their mouths dropped open slightly

The king who's only seems looks cold on the outside is smiling at them genuinely.
