"We've been shopping for an hour. Can I eat now?" I ask in an overdramatic groan as I throw my head back in agony

"The food court is on the other side of the mall. Can you hold out for a couple more minutes?" Stella says as she holds up a long red dress

"I don't want to pass out from starvation inside of a dress shop" I say as I groan in annoyance

"I'll go buy you something from the food court while you find a dress" Mrs. Hayes says to me with a smile before she walks out of the store

"Thank you" I say before she walks out.

Stella continues to look at random dresses, some long, some short.

"Oh my God" She suddenly gasps out which causes me to turn around and look at her, she has a wide smile on her face and her eyes are shining.

I look at the dress and gasp.

It's a short white dress with spaghetti straps. The first layer is an opaque white while the top layer is a sheer white. There's also a silver belt attached to the middle of the dress. It looks cute, but comfortable.

"You need to try this on" she says as she grabs my wrist and leads me towards the dressing rooms.

We wait for a worker to unlock the door before Stella practically shoves me into the dressing room. I strip out of my clothes before I carefully put on the white dress.

I don't want to ruin it before I bought it.

As soon as I'm done zipping it up, I turn around so that I'm facing my reflection in the mirror. It hugs my chest perfectly and flows around my hips.

In my opinion the dress looks like a summer wedding dress.

I step out of the dressing room so that Stella can see it. She looks up at me and smiles as a tear slides down her cheek.

"Are you okay?" I ask her since she seems a little more emotional than normal

"Yeah, you just look really good" she says as another tear falls

I hold my arms out for her which she walks into before we wrap our arms around each other in a hug.

"I look like I'm getting married on the beach" I say which makes her laugh as she pulls away and looks at me

"Do you like it?" She asks with anticipation. I nod my head which makes her squeal in excitement before she pushes me back into the dressing room so that we could hurry up and buy the dress.

After purchasing the dress, I practically run towards the food court where I see Mrs. Hayes sitting at a random table with a box of pizza, a box of Chinese food, and a box of doughnuts.

As soon as I sat in the chair across from her, I started to shove the food down my throat, ungracefully might I add.

"I guess you weren't kidding when you said you were hungry" Mrs. Hayes says with a laugh as Stella sits down beside me

"Sorry, that was probably uncomfortable to watch" I say after I swallow my mouthful of food. She just waves me off before I continue to eat a slice of pizza.

I'm in the middle of drinking a bottle of water when Stella's phone goes off, She quickly pulls it out of her purse and checks it before her eyes go wide. She shows her mom and her eyes widen too before they both turn to me and replace their freaked out looks with a smile.

What are they hiding?

And why hasn't Easton texted me back?

"So, um, change of plans" Stella says awkwardly as she shoves her phone back into her purse

"We're going to give you a makeover because Easton has a surprise for you" Mrs. Hayes says as she starts to gather up the trash that's on the table

"What surprise?" I ask as I help her pick up our trash and throw it away

"We're not allowed to tell you" Stella says as she comes up behind us and throws away the pizza box. I decided to just end the conversation right there as we walked out of the mall.

As soon as we got to their house and they sat me in a seat, Mrs. Hayes did my hair while Stella did my makeup.

Mrs. Hayes parted my hair in the middle before she loosely curled my hair so that it looked natural.

Stella covered my under eye bags before she applied mascara to my eyelashes. She lightly filled in my eyebrows since they're still freshly waxed from a week ago. Lastly she used a pink lipgloss.

When they both finished, I looked in the mirror and gasped.

Wow, they're truly miracle workers.

"Does your talent just run in the family?" I ask with shock as I continue to stare at my face with shock

"That's a good question. Sadly I don't have the answer to it" Mrs. Hayes says before she hands me the dress from earlier and leaves the room, with Stella following.

As soon as I'm done changing into the dress, Stella bursts into the room while holding a pair of white wedges.

"When did you get those?" I ask since I don't remember her buying them today

"I bought them, but never wore them because I accidentally got them in a size too small" she says with a shrug before she hands them to me. I thank her for them shoes before I put them on.

She hands me a small white clutch which feels like it's filled with stuff, I decide to open it and see what's inside.

"Stella," I yelled out horrified as I see when she put in one of the pockets. I pull out three gold foil squares and hold them in front of her so she's knows what I'm talking about.

"I do not need condoms" I say which makes her laugh

"Okay. If you want to be a mom at eighteen, I guess that's your choice" she says teasingly with a shrug, I shake my head as I feel my cheeks get hot

Great, now I'm blushing.

"I didn't mean it like that" I say which makes her laugh when she sees my blush

"Come on, I need to take you somewhere" she says as she leads the way out of the room. I grab my phone and stuff it inside of the clutch as I make my way out of the room and down the stairs.

"Do you have everything?" Stella asks as she grabs her car keys and turns to face me, I nod my head which makes her smile before she turns around and opens the door for me.

I thank her before I walk to the passenger side of her car and wait for her to lock the front door. She quickly runs to the drivers side and unlocks the doors.

I wish I knew where we were going so that I could be as excited as she is.
