The dinner was a funny mess.
Our Parents got drunk off of Champagne and started to talk about their "Younger Days".
Easton and Asher got into a heated argument about Batman vs. Captain America.
Stella and I were gossiping about stupid rumors that happened throughout the school year, but we were tipsy so it kinda of sounded like we were whining about them.
Easton and Asher had to carry Stella and I home since we could barely stand up.
In actuality we probably looked hilarious while we were leaving the restaurant.
But within our circle, you can tell that the boys were frustrated because they had to take care of four drunk girls.
"Remind me never to drink again" I say as I wake up the next morning with hangover. He turns his head away from the television and looks at my exhausted facial expression with a frown.
"I told you not to drink the champagne" he says with a shrug before he gets up and walking into his bathroom
"I didn't think it would be that strong" I say as he walks out of his bathroom with a bottle of pain killers. He smiles at me before picking me up bridal style which makes me squeak and cling onto him.
He walks out of his room and down the stairs as I squeeze my eyes shut since every step he takes makes me feel a pounding in my head. When he finally reaches the last step, he walks in the direction of the kitchen and places me on the countertop.
"What would you like to drink?" He asks as he stands in between my legs and places his hands on my knees
"Apple juice" I say with a pout since I'm weirdly craving it
He smiles at me before he places a kiss my forehead and walks towards the refrigerator.

He comes back to his previous position while holding a glass of apple juice and two pain reliever tablets. I accept them and place the pills in my mouth before using the apple juice to swallow them.
I set the empty glass down beside my hip before I lean forward and wrap my arms around his neck and lay my head on his shoulder.
"Are you okay?" He asks with a small chuckle as he wraps his arms around my waist
"Yeah," I say as I just hold him tightly, as if he would fade away
"I love you" I say as my voice cracks which causes him to tighten his hold on me before he places a kiss on my neck
"I love you too" he says as he starts to rub my back soothingly.
Our moment was ruined by Stella walking into the kitchen while groaning.
"You look like you came from the walking dead" Easton says as he continues to hold me but looks directly at Stella
I lift my head and look behind me. She looked tired and you could tell that she was hungover.
"And you look like you came from Barney, but I didn't say anything" she says to him with a glare which makes me laugh
"What does that even mean?" He asks before I jump off the counter and wrap my arms around his waist
"You're a dinosaur from my nightmares" she says with an eye roll as she walks to the refrigerator and pulls out a water bottle. He rolls his eyes as I stifle a laugh.
"Can you both shut up, it's too early in the morning for you to be this loud" Mrs. Hayes says as she walks into the kitchen while rubbing her temples
"Um, Mrs. Hayes, It's one in the afternoon" I say which makes her eyes widen as she turns to Easton and gives him a stern look

She looks like she's scolding him with her eyes.
"Um, I have to go meet up with some people, so I'm going to go get dressed" he says when his mom gives him a murderous glare
"Do you want me to go with you?" I ask him as I grab his forearm when he goes to walk away. He turns to me and smiles before kissing my forehead.
"No, I'll be okay" he says with a reassuring smile before he goes upstairs. As soon as we hear his door close his mom claps her hands together with excitement.
"Amelia, I'm taking you shopping today" Mrs. Hayes says with a big smile on her face, I look at her with a confused expression before I turn to Stella who has an excited facial expression
Um, okay?
"Why?" I ask but neither of their expressions falter
"It's a surprise" they say simultaneously
"Okay, when are we leaving?" I ask since I'm starving
"After you get dressed" Stella says before she grabs my wrist and drags me upstairs towards her room. I look around and see that she has random textbooks on her floor but I don't see Asher.
I thought I saw him come in here with her last night.
"Where's Asher?" I ask as I sit on the corner of the bed
If he was here, there's no telling what they've done on this bed.
"He left after I woke up early this morning" she says with a shrug as she tries to find an outfit for me to wear
I really need to bring more clothes over here.
"Oh" I say before she throws a pair of shorts and a tank top at me. I roll my eyes before I walk into her bathroom so that I can take a shower.
I hope they don't make me shop all day.
I can only handle looking at clothes for so long until I lose it.

The Forgotten Hero
Long ago, in the world of Thyne, the Alliance of the Free Races, a name they had given themselves, summoned a hundred humans from another dimension. Praised as heroes by the people, they rejoiced that they had been able to acquire pure, mana deficient humans that wanted to aid them in their time of need, ignoring the black, archaic slave collars around their necks or the depressed, almost hate-filled expressions that they received when interacting with them. After Ten years of bloody war, the dark races were pushed back deep into their territories. Both sides were near breaking point and desperate to end the war once and for all. In a bargain, the twelve surviving heroes launched a high-risk mission, utilising advanced tactics from their home world to kill the Demon Lord. In exchange, they would be sent home, along with the magically preserved corpses of their comrades, though in truth, they knew that even if they returned, they would never be the same. Legends say that, upon ambushing the Demon Lord in his castle, they finally understood the plight of the world, and in the last act of heroism, sacrificed their lives, sealing him in an eternal prison so his essence would not be able to create another. With the loss of the Demon Lord, and no chance for another to be born, the dark races quickly surrendered and the free races celebrated, honouring the noble sacrifice of the heroes before quickly forgetting about them as they returned to their everyday lives. However, legends are rarely truthful, embellished by the victors in order to earn praise as well as hide the less desirable aspects of their deeds. Trapped in the Demon Lord's throne room inside the Demonic Palace, which even taking a single step on its desecrated grounds is punished by death, two figures remain motionless. They had long run out of insults and threats to trade and now they waited. For what, not even the Gods knew.

The Kiss of Two Moons
The last year is upon us. The world is ending, but you already knew that; everyone does. Spring has come, and the flowers have bloomed here in this small town with no name. Thousands of different colours now paint the field that had been coloured by frost alone just yesterday. The townsfolk have gathered by the field to celebrate the beginning of the last spring with so many smiling faces. Tears too. I can’t help but wonder whether the flowers will bloom again before the sky falls upon us. Others must be thinking the same. There are moments when the smiles fade and their eyes glaze over as they realize just how near to the end we are. They forget it again in moments. They make themselves forget. The children aren’t like that, though. They don’t seem to understand, or they’ve come to accept it in a way that their parents just can’t manage to. This one boy actually asked me why I was sad. I had to wonder whether he was actually aware that the world is ending, but it seemed wrong to mention it. I ended up just telling him that I was waiting for someone, and he scampered off, wearing a silly smile. I can’t help but feel jealous of him. The beginning of next spring; the day that the world ends. It seems so far away, yet so close. Wherever you are now, I have to ask, how are you spending your last spring? Did you get to see the flowers bloom? Did you smile? Did you cry?
