Finally.

Graduation Day is here.

I wore a white dress that's fancy but casual.

Stella wore a silk red dress that stopped at her knees.

As soon as we both got to the school, we walked backstage so that we could get our assigned cap and gowns.

"You look pure" I hear someone say from behind me which causes me to turn around only to come face to face with Easton. I smile at him before I walk into his open arms and wrap my arms around his neck.

"I won't be for long" I say with a smirk before I peck his lips and check him out

He's wearing a basic black and white tuxedo which makes me want to bring him into an empty room.

"Babe, you're drooling" he says with a deep chuckle before he wipes the side of my mouth with his thumb

"Fuck, I don't think you should wear tuxedos around me. It makes me want to rip it off of you and take you right here right now" I whisper out as I press our foreheads together which makes him laugh

"You know, you're throwing my whole pure comment out of the window" he says which makes me smirk as I'm about to kiss him

"Amelia Montgomery" I hear a teacher call my name

Ugh.

Can't you see that I'm busy.

I groan which makes Easton laugh before he pulls away and gently pushes me towards the teacher since I'm in heels. The teacher helps me put on my cap and gown before she sends me towards the line where everyone is lined up in alphabetical order based on first name.

"We will be beginning the ceremony in a couple of short minutes" I hear the principal say into the microphone on the other side of the stage.

I suddenly start to get nervous which causes my palms to sweat.

What if I didn't get any scholarships?

What if Easton or I have to go to school in another state and be separated?

What if he breaks up with me because he can't handle the distance?

"Calm down" I hear Easton say which causes me to look up so that I'm looking into his calm grey eyes

"It's all going to work out" he says as he reaches up and holds my cheeks so that I can't look away

"What if we can't handle the distance and we end up breaking up?" I say as tears start to pool in my eyes which causes pain and sadness to swirl in his eyes

"That won't happen unless it's for a very good reason" he says as he gently wipes away my tears so that he doesn't smudge my makeup

I internally thank him for that.

"Promise?" I asks with a sniffle and a pout which makes him chuckle before he leans in and pecks my lips

"Promise" he says before the principal starts the introduction which means we're going to have to walk out in a couple of minutes

Me, earlier than the others since my first name starts with an 'A'

"Amelia Montgomery" the principal announces

Okay, take a deep breath.

I smile then walk out from behind the curtain before making my way towards the assistant principal, who is holding my diploma.

I grab the diploma before showing it and smiling so that the photographer can get a photo for the summer yearbook.

"Amelia has gotten a scholarship from UCLA and Yale" he says which makes me smile and let out a breath of relief

UCLA is my dream school.

So, I'll definitely be choosing to go there when summer ends.

Everyone claps as I walk down the steps, on the side of the stage, and make my way towards my assigned seat in front of the stage along with my other classmates.

Asher got a scholarship for Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Easton got a scholarship for UCLA, Stanford, and Harvard.

I was shocked that he got into Harvard since no one else in our school did.

I was probably the loudest person when everyone was clapping for him which caused him to laugh at me before he walked towards his assigned seat.

Emma got a scholarship for Stanford and Princeton.

To tell you that she look shocked was an understatement.

She even started to cry when she walked off stage.

Stella got a scholarship for Yale, Princeton, and Harvard.

When the principal was done listing her's off, her mom yelled out something that caused Stella to blush in embarrassment and give her mom a stern look before she walked off stage.

As soon as graduation ended, I told Easton to meet me outside near the fountain so that we could get some time alone.

Well, as alone as you can get with over two hundred students surrounding you with their family.

I feel arms wrap around my waist and lift me up before they spin me which causes me to laugh as I hold onto his wrist

"Put me down. I'm wearing heels" I say when I feel one of my wedges falling off my foot since I didn't buckle the strap that tightly

He places me down before turning me around so that our bodies are pressed together while we stare into each other's eyes

"I can't believe you got into Harvard" I blurt out as I hit his shoulder which makes him laugh

"Neither can I" He says before we're interrupted by Stella and Asher

"To all the bitches that said I wasn't smart, look at me now" Stella says loudly as she walks over to us which causes Easton and I to burst into laughter

"The reservations are in an hour. What do you guys want to do?" I ask them all but we get interrupted by our parents

"Amelia, I'm so proud of you" Mrs. Hayes says as she comes up to me and hugs me which causes both Easton and Stella to scoff in shock

"Mom?" They ask in sync which causes her to turn to them with a look of confusion

"What?" Mrs. Hayes asks innocently

"She doesn't make me want to pull my hair out like you both do" she says which makes them roll their eyes

"I can't believe Stella got into Yale since she never studied and I can't believe Easton got into Harvard since he barely pays attention in class" Mrs. Hayes says which makes their jaws drop while Asher and I burst into laughter

"Amelia, I'm so proud of you" I hear my mom say which causes me to to stop laughing and turn to her in shock

She wasn't here this morning.

I walk to her and hug her so tightly that I'm afraid I might pop her.

She told me that she might not make it for graduation because her plane was delayed.

"I thought you said your plane was delayed" I say with a quiet voice as I bury my head in her shoulder

"I decided to splurge and take a private jet" she says with a shrug which causes me to laugh as I pull away and tears fall down my cheeks

She wipes them away before I suddenly realize that she's never met Easton as my boyfriend.

I walk over to Easton and grab his hand before I pull him over towards my mom

"This is my boyfriend" I say which makes her smile

"So, I'm guessing that he's the one that broke up with you when someone threw you both a curve ball?" She questions which makes me smile when Easton looks down in shame

"Yep, that's me" he says as he blushes in embarrassment

"I always knew you both would end up together" She says which causes me to look at her in confusion

Why does that sound familiar?

Oh, right, Mrs. Hayes said the same thing.

"The looks that you both would give each other when you thought that no one was paying attention" she says

Easton and I look down as we blush which makes my mom laugh.

I love how strong our relationship has gotten.

I love how even when we were upset with each other we still felt connected in some way.

I love how happy Easton has made me feel ever since our first date.

I love him.
