"Hello?" I ask as I tap on his shoulder

He turns around and I'm met with those same pair of brown eyes that I saw in the hall today.

"I thought you were going to stand me up" he says with a lighthearted laugh that makes me smile

"Of course not" I say as I grab his shaky hand and lead him over to the ticket booth.

He ordered two tickets to watch the movie "Chicken Little" since it's a comedy and there currently weren't any scary movies playing.

"Since you paid for the tickets, I'm paying for the snacks" I say which makes him smile as turns towards me

"I don't remember agreeing to that" he says with a teasing voice as we walk into the snack court

"Well you're going to" I say with a smirk as I walk towards the popcorn counter.

"Hello, We'll take the buttered popcorn" I say to the brown haired guy whose behind the counter as the brown eyed boy walks up beside me

"Of course, pretty lady" the guy behind the counter says with a wink before he starts to prepare the popcorn

Oh my fucking goodness. I swear if another boy hits on me today, I'll lose my cool.

I internally cringed at the nickname but on the outside I put on a smile.

"Here you go" he says as he hands me the bucket of popcorn along with the receipt that has a phone number on it. I go to hand him the money but he stops me.

"It's on the house" he says with a wink, I thank him before I walk towards the candy counter

I guess that could've gone worse.

"You look tense" I say as I look at the brown eyed boy's face and notice that his jaw is clenched, he looks down at me and smiles before kissing my head

"Don't worry about it" is all he says before the candy counter lady starts to ask us what kind of candy we want

Why does he seem suspicious?

A couple of minutes later, we are seated in the middle row of seats as we both slowly eat out of the popcorn bucket while watching the movie.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom" I say to him which he just nods to before I get up and make my way towards the bathroom.

As soon as I turn around the corner from exiting the theater room, I feel a hand quickly grab my wrist before I'm pulled into a dark closet.

I've, obviously, watched my fair share of scary movies so I did the first thing I could think of.

I punch them.

Hard.

"Ow" I hear Stella yell out in pain as she releases my wrist

Wait... Stella?

I reach up and turn on the light that is hanging from the ceiling only to be met with Stella trying to cover her bleeding nose.

"I'm so sorry, I thought you were going to rape me" I say as I grab her face and try to examine the damage that I have done

"It's okay, it was my fault, anyway you weren't answering your phone so when I spotted you I just dragged you in here" she says with a shrug

How is she so cool about this?

"Well, was there something that you needed to tell me?" I ask her since she wouldn't be here if it wasn't an emergency

"Asher is bad news" she says with a panicked voice which makes me look at her in confusion

"Who's Asher?" I ask her

"The dude that you're on a date with" she says in a 'duh' tone

Oh, so that's his name.

"One, him and I are just hanging out. And two, how is he bad news?" I ask

"He's only with you because he knows Easton will lose his shit when he finds out" she says which makes me groan in annoyance

Even when I'm not dating Easton, he still somehow finds a way mess up something in my life.

"If this is true then why did you help me get ready for this meet up?" I ask in annoyance, I'm not annoyed at her though

"I only saw his back when you guys were talking in school plus I haven't seen him in three years" she says with a defensive tone

"I'm not going to leave him here because that will be rude. Maybe he's changed" I say which causes her to glare at me

"I swear to all that is holy Amelia, if you guys become physical, I won't be the only one to break you guys up" she says which makes me narrow my eyes at her

What is her problem?

She was so cool with me going out with him before she found out who he is.

I bet if him and Easton didn't know each other, we wouldn't be having this problem.

"Oh yeah? Who else?" I say with a challenging tone as I narrow my eyes at her

"Easton" she says which causes me to scoff and roll my eyes

"Stella, if you haven't noticed, he doesn't care about me anymore. He hasn't even apologized to me" I say in a 'duh' tone

"Yes he does" she says in an annoyed voice

Wasn't she the one who told him to stay away from me?

Where did that Stella go?

"If he doesn't want to trust me then that's his problem, but I'm not going to sit around and act like a lost puppy while he tries to hide from me" I say with an angered voice

"He does trust you" she says which makes me scoff again

"If he trusted me then he would've listened to my explanation instead of trusting my enemy" I say with a glare before I walk out of the closet and back towards the movie theater.

As soon as I grab the doorknob towards the theater, I feel eyes watching me. I turn to my right at see a smirking Emma leaning against a wall while arguing with a furious Easton.

I look at Emma and see that she's looking directly at me which causes Easton to look in the direction that she is, but he stops talking and stares at me wide eyed when his eyes land on me.

I quickly turn away and walk into the theater so that I don't lose my temper at anybody.

I don't know or care what they were arguing about.

But I will say that it looked scary.

It looked as if she was testing his anger.

And it looked as if he was trying not to punch her.
