Surprisingly I had a great day at school.

Stella and I talked to each other all day and got caught up with everything that was happening in each other's lives.

Emma was no where to be seen, but the cheerleaders that did show up had rashes.

I just assumed that they got them from the prank at last night's pep rally since I don't have any rashes.

Easton walked me to my classes even when I told him not to so we wouldn't risk him being late to class.

He told me to be ready by five for our date before he drove home from school.

As soon as I arrived at home I showered then changed into a flowy white dress that stops before my knees and a pair of sandals.

I loosely put my hair in a side braid with pieces of my baby hair falling out to frame my face.

As soon as I grabbed my phone I hear a knock on the door. I open the door and see Easton standing at the door in khaki shorts, a white unbuttoned collared shirt and flip flops

"Are you ready?" He asks me with a smile which instantly makes me mirror his expression with the same amount of excitement

"Of course" I say as I grab onto his arm that he offered for me to take before I quickly grabbed my house key and shut the door, locking it immediately afterwards.

As we drove to the beach, which is an hour away, we decided to do karaoke first. There was only one problem. We can't sing.

"So I put my hands up, They're playing my song, And the butterflies fly away, Noddin' my head like, yeah, Movin' my hips like, yeah, I got my hands up, They're playin' my song, You know I'm gonna be okay, Yeah, it's a party in the USA, Yeah it's a party in the USA" we screamed in all the wrong notes causing both of us to laugh as the wind from the windows blowed in our hair.

When we arrived at the beach I couldn't help but feel so overjoyed to be back at this beach. This beach is where some of the good things in my life fell into place.

"Sorry, but I'm going to need you to put on this blindfold. I want the area I'm taking you to be a surprise" he says as he parks and cuts off the engine.

I look at him and see him holding a bandana out for me to take, which I do and tie it around my head before pulling it down to cover my eyes

"I'll come around and help you" I hear him say before I hear his seatbelt unbuckling and his door opening and closing

It feels so weird to be blindfolded, because I have to rely on my other senses way more than normal.

I hear my door open and feel someone wrap their arms underneath my arms and knees then lift me out of the car and place me on the parking lot ground

"Grab onto my arm and I'll guide the way" I hear him say after he closes the car door and locks the car. I blindly reach out in front of me and meet air. I turn to my right and reach out, but this time I'm met with a hard muscular bicep.

Wow he's very muscular. I've never noticed this before.

"Babe, you can feel my arm later. Right now I want to take you to the location" I hear him say while chuckling which causes me to blush and look away even though I can't see him.

I feel him kiss my cheek before he starts walking slowly onto the sand.

We were walking for a couple of seconds before he leads me to this area where I can hear the ocean and seagulls

"Okay, you can take it off" he says which causes me to become filled with excitement now that I can figure out what he has been hiding.

I pull the blindfold over my head and have to blink a couple of times so that my eyes can adjust to the light, but I wasn't prepared for what met my eyes

There was a white tent. Underneath it was a blanket covered with a pizza box and a bottle of soda.

A simple yet beautiful sight. My dream date.

I admired the whole set up with eager eyes. I turn to Easton and see him just gauging my reaction. I took a step towards him, effectively pressing our bodies together, and throw my arms around his neck as his rest on my hips

I smile up at him and peck his lips "Thank you for all of this" I say as I look into his eyes

"Of course" he says as he looks down at me with admiration and kisses my cheek before guiding me underneath the tent

We sat down and started eating the pizza immediately in comfortable silence.

I was savoring the taste of the delicious pizza when Easton suddenly spoke

"My mom wants to meet you" he says making look at him in confusion

"She already met me. She's known me ever since Stella and I met" I say as I place my slice of pizza on the plate in my lap

"Yes, but she wants to meet you as my significant other" he says which makes my breath hitch in surprise

"Okay" I say which causes him to smile and look away as the tip of his ears turn pink.

Is he blushing?

"Aww, is someone blushing?" I tease him with a smirk on my face

"Only for you" he whispers causing me to smile at him.

I swear, my heart can't handle this.

"Come on," I say as I stand up and hold my hand out for him to grab "let's dance" I say

He looks at me with a confused expression as he grabs my hand and stands up "You do realize that there is no music" he says as I wrap his arms around my waist and wrap mine around his neck as he looks down at me

"Music is not needed to dance, it's simply preferred" I say before I lay my head on his chest and sway us side to side.

He lightly laughs before he rests his chin on my head and we just sway in silence as we listen to the waves a couple of feet away from us.

"You know I care about you, right?" He asks randomly causing me to stop swaying and look up at him

"Yeah, I'd hope so" I say then laugh sarcastically

He chuckles before gently grabbing my face and looking into my eyes and asks the million dollar question that causes me to gasp in surprise and shock.

"Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"
