When I wake up the next morning, all I can think about is last night.

Xavier asked me to be his girlfriend. Xavier Knight is my boyfriend.

He dropped me home late last night. We ended up watching a movie and eating the rest of the cookies. I fell asleep as soon as I got home so I didn't tell any of my friends about us being official. So, after getting ready I call Ash.

"Hey Babes," she greets as soon as she picks up.

"Hey. So... He asked me to be his girlfriend," I squeal excitedly.

"OH MY GOD. WHEN?" She yells.

"Yesterday," I smile.

"I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU MAY," she beams.

"Thank you, Ash," I giggle.

"Anyways bae, work calls I need to get ready but I want all the details later," she demands.

"Yes ma'am. Bye Ash, love you," I laugh.

"Bye May. Love you too," with that she hangs up and I start getting ready for work too.

I reach there at 5:00 as usual and start baking.

After I'm done I keep his aside as usual and check the time; 5:50, ten minutes.

While I wait, I see Jennifer walking my way, oh god.

"Water. Cold." She orders.

"Here you go," I smile, giving her the bottle of water.

As she is taking out money to pay, I spot Xavier walking towards us.

"Hey muffin," he greets, giving me a peck on my lips.

"What the?" Jennifer gaps. "You just kissed her."

"I can't kiss my girlfriend?" He tilts his head at her.

"Girlfriend? Since when?" She huffs.

"How is that any of your business?" He sneers.

"Really Xavier? Her? You're dating her to make me jealous," she rolls her eyes. What?

"Why do you think everything is about you?" He laughs, "I don't care about anything to do with you."

"We had something Xav. You're going to throw it all away for a waitress who is most probably with you for your money? Do you even like her?" She complains.

"Jennifer, never and I mean never. Talk about her like that again," he looks mad but calm at the same time.

"Come on Xavier, we can talk about this. You don't have to do all this," she looks up at him sadly... this is awkward.

I go to walk away so they have some privacy but Xavier stops me.

"Don't listen to her. Okay?" He smiles at me. I know he isn't with me cause of her so I nod.

"I still have more baking to do but don't worry I know you like me," I mumble.

"Good," he winks, pecking me one last time, "Alright muffin, I need to go to work too. I'll text you later. Bye."

With that, he turns around and heads to the elevator. Leaving me with a fuming Jennifer.

"You know he doesn't actually care about you right? And you are extremely unprofessional for the PDA while you are working," She scoffs. She does have a point with the last part.

"Ma'am please talk to my boss if you have any complaints," I smile awkwardly.

"What is this? Are you using him for his money? Are you sleeping with him so you can keep your job?" She is starting to get loud and people around us are staring.

"Ma'am with all due respect that is none of your concern seeing as it's a private matter between me and Xavier. However, when it comes to my job, as I said; you are more than welcome to talk to my boss," I am not trying to be rude. I care a lot about my job and I would never use anyone for it.

"Whatever," and with that, she walks away.

A few hours later, I see Blake enter the building with a coffee from my favorite coffee shop.

"Thought you would want some," he smiles, handing me my coffee.

"I love you!" I squeal, "But I'm not allowed to have food or drinks from outside while working so can you wait will my break? There are like 5 minutes till then."

"Of course. I'll be there," He informs, pointing at one of the tables in front of the bakery. It was a small bakery just for a few baked goods. It was open so no doors and it was visible the second you walked through the entry of the building.

I walk over to him on my break time and sit with him and we just talk about everything going on till I realize I haven't told the group about Xavier.

"So, I'm dating someone," I mumble after a while.

"Excuse me?" he raises a brow. "Dating? Official?"

"Yeah," I smile.

"Holy shit. Since when?" He gasps.

"Umm, last night but I have been dating him for around a week. It was quick but I've known him for months now," I inform.

"Who is it?" He asks, grinning.

I was about to answer till my boyfriend answers himself.

"Xavier Knight. I'm her boyfriend. Nice to meet you," He holds out his hand.

"Blake Bennet," he takes Xavier's hand, a playful smirk on his face.

Blake puts his arm around my shoulder and looks down at me.

"I just came by to give her coffee," he informs.

"There is coffee here," Xavier states, glaring at the arm around me.

"Yeah but that's her favorite spot. Did you not know?" he raises his eyebrow.

"No. But now I do," Xavier furrows his brows.

Xavier grabs my hand and pulls me towards him.

"Baby if you like the café a lot I can buy it for you," he pouts. He is so cute.

"What? No, I just like the coffee," I breath out a laugh.

"Well, I can get you the recipe. I'll pay them for it," he suggests, "If you want coffee I can get it for you. You don't have to ask anyone else for it."

"She didn't. I just missed her so it was an excuse plus it makes her happy so why not," Blake shrugs.

Xavier narrows his eyes; he looks annoyed so I change the topic.

"So, Blake. How is Bella?" I haven't seen her in a while.

"She is mad at me," he looks at me with a dreamy, loving look. Him and Bella are so cute together and Blake is crazy in love with her.

"What did you do now?" I sigh.

"Don't worry about that. I know how to fix it," he winks.

"And how is that?" I chuckle, amused.

"Apologize, flowers and kisses. I've been here many times," he smiles. He always ends up doing something to get her mad but it's never a big deal so I just nod.

"Who's Bella?" Xavier questions, still holding me close to him.

"My girlfriend," Blake answers. Xavier lets out a sigh of relief and Blake just laughs.

"Oh," he mumbles.

"Yeah, don't worry man," He smirks. Worry about what?

Xavier just rolls his eyes and looks at me.

"I am going to leave early today cause of a problem so I just wanted to tell you, I'm about to head out," he smiles.

"Oh okay. Is everything good?" I tilt my head.

"Yeah, muffin. Just friend problems- also that reminds me; they want to meet you," he informs.

"I would love to," I beam.

"Alright perfect. I'll set something up," he kisses my cheek then turns to Blake. "It was nice meeting you but I need to head out."

"Yeah, you too. Bye," Blake nods.

"Alright bye," he turns to me giving me a quick kiss on my lips. "I'll call you when I'm done."

"Okay," I mumble, blushing a bit. Blake has never seen me date cause the last boyfriend I had was in high school so being affectionate with Xavier in front of my friends is new.

Blake smiles at me as Xavier walks away.

"You seem happy," He grins.

"I am," I mutter.

"Good. You guys are cute together," he nods, approving. "Anyways I need to go apologize to my girl. I'll talk to you later."

"Okay bye. Love you," I wave.

"Love you too," and with that, he walks out of the building.

I finish my coffee and get back to work.

Finally, after a long day, I get home and text Xavier to ask if everything is okay.

He doesn't answer so I call but he doesn't answer my call either.

I go to sleep wondering if everything is okay... I hope so.
