I chuckled as I watched some members of the Tourney team lifted Ben on their shoulders, my boyfriend waving at me.
I waved back, "Be careful!" I called out to him.
"Who would of thought that all this would happen?" Mal said, glancing up at the fireworks, her arm around Evie's shoulders.
I nodded, "Yeah, it's weird to think that just a couple of weeks ago we were all on the Isle."
"Who knew that our whole lives would change?" Carlos added in, causing me to nod, everything was different now.
"But," Evie looked over at us, slipping her arm through mine, "No matter what happens, we will always have each other."
Jay smirked, "Because we're rotten..."
"To the core!" We all laughed.
Oh yeah, Evie sang out, Oh yeah, yeah. Let's set if off!
We all joined in, Oh yeah.
You can make it happen! I sang out, the others smiling at me.
Ohay, ohay, hey!
I watched as the Tourney members set Ben down in the middle or the platform.
He clapped his hands together, Kings and Queens, it's our time to rise, write the book, story of our lives, this is us taking back the night.
Ohay, ohay! Everybody sang as Ben held his hand out for me, I rolled my eyes playfully, twirling into him.
Break the spell, we were born this way, Ben twirled me around as I sang, Be yourself, forget the DNA. Everybody raise your hands and say,
Ben and I both clapped in the rhythm of the music.
I looked over to where Mal and Evie were leading some of the other kids in a dance, Sound the alarm, get on your feet. Let's set it off and rock this beat, dance till your heart is wild and free.

Ooh, ooh, oh, Ben sang along playfully as he lifted me into the air from behind, causing me to let out a slight yelp.
Mal smiled over at me as she sang, Feeling the power let it all out, like what you see in the mirror, shout, She then twirled Evie into a dip, pressing a quick kiss to her lips.
We got the keys, I sang, holding my hand out to Ben, who took it.
Together we sang out, The kingdom's ours
Ooh, oh, oh, Mal ran over to me, pulling me from Ben's grip, laughing at his pouty expression as she twirled me.
Ohah, ohay, hey!
Let's set it off, oh yeah, Evie pulled Mal away from me, pushing me back over towards the King, Start a chain reaction, never let it stop!
Ben waltzed around with me for a moment, before we met back up with Mal and Evie, all of us locking arms and forming a circle.
Let's set it off! Oh yeah! You can make it happen, with everything you got! Let's set it off!
We all then started dancing, Mal, Evie, and I leading the whole group.
Get ready, set it off! Come on! We got to set it off! To the right, We all moved to the right, Get ready, set it off! To the left! We got to set it off! I then ended up holding Ben's hand, he shot me his signature charming smile.
Carlos and Jay ran up to Jane, who was sitting alone on a bench, Yo, it's time to set this thing off! Let's make it happen now! I'll make my own future, ignore the rumors, show em' my passion sound, The two boys shouted out, leading Jane towards the steps to the platform, They all told me I should back down, judging me cause' of my background. Thinkin' about changing my path now, nah I ain't going out like that now!

Carlos then led Jane onto the stairs, beginning to dance with her as Jay encouraged him on.
Feeling the power, let it all out, I sang, watching as Audrey approached Jay, taking his hand and pulling him up to dance, Like what you see in the mirror, shout!
Ben spun me around so I was facing him, he dipped me backwards as he sang, We got the keys, the kingdom's ours! Ooh, oh, oh!
I twirled around, my dress flying out as we all started dancing again and singing so loud my dad on the Isle could hear us.
Oh yeah, Evie sang out, pointing up at the sky.
Let's set it off, oh yeah. Start a chain reaction, never let it stop! Let's set it off. Let's set this off! Oh yeah! Let's set it off!
I danced around Ben, smiling widely before switching partners, so Mal and I were now face to face as we sang together, Oh, yeah! Let's set this off! You can make it happen, Mal and I pointed at each other, With everything you got! Let's set it off!
I then ran back over to Ben, laughing as he picked me up, twirling me around, before setting me down to dance again.
Get ready set it off, come on! We got to set it off. That's right, get ready set it off! To the left! We got to set it off! Get ready, set it off. We got to set it off! Get ready to set it off! Come on!
Ben lead me down the stairs, leaning in for a kiss.
3, 2, 1, Uh!
I then grabbed the crown from Ben's head, running off with it. When I looked back he smiled, running the other way.
Oh yeah! Let's set it off, oh yeah. Start a chain reaction, never let it stop! Let's set it off. Let's set this off! Oh yeah! Let's set it off! You can make it happen, with everything you got, you! Let's set it off! Get ready, set off!
I reached the balcony the same time as Ben, curtsying to him. He smiled, bowing to me in return as we met in the middle.
I held out his crown to him, laughing when he placed it sideways on my own head.
He then put his hand behind my head, bringing me in for a kiss. This one was somehow even better then the first.
We pulled away looking down to see everyone bowing down to Ben, Mal shooting me a wink.
I raised my hands in the air as we all sang out for the final time, Come on. We got to set it off! To the left. Get ready, set it off! To the right. We got to set it off!
A final burst of fireworks then shot out above the school, everyone cheering.
I looked away from the colors exploding in the sky, and down to the boy in front of me, taking his hands in my own.
"So, you love me, huh?" The King asked and I rolled my eyes, hitting his chest lightly.
We both knew the answer to his question as he chuckled, meeting his lips with my own.
A minute later we pulled away, turning to look down at the rest of the student body.
I waved down at everyone, shooting the rest of the VK's a smile.
This truly was a happily ever after.

The Beaumort Society
The city of Omen is on the cutting-edge of learning and science, and the things going on behind the backs of the Institute and the government, and sometimes with their approval...well, they don’t really matter. Conspirators operate just below the surface, societies clashing, fighting for their own mysterious ends. It's here that the individual known as Nemesis Jones, a self-styled private investigator, arrives, stumbling onto the doorstep of a curious bookstore called Beaumort's. He's here in search of answers, but all he seems to find is more questions - like the strange girl who arrived at Beaumort's shortly after him, and the peculiar stranger who just may have the answers he seeks. After he stumbles upon a conspiracy tied far too closely for comfort to his best friend, it's up to him and some other nosy eccentrics to unravel the mysteries of the city one by one, beginning with the murder at the Theatre Obscura. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, all of this is explicitly outlined in Nemesis' job description. [ILLUSTRATIONS BY @THEEGGGARDEN ON TWITTER] [UPDATES 13TH AND 27TH OF EVERY MONTH]

Moonshot
Gregarious businessman Evin Tumble is fascinated by the sudden and inexplicable appearance of a low-orbiting moon. Specifically, he's interested in shooting it down with a giant cannon. The moon is only about eight miles overhead, but it's high enough and quick enough that nobody can reach it by balloon or airship. He hires our protagonists: taciturn Iseult Morrin, cheerful Sean Whelan, and nervous Íde Ceallaigh, to help him with his obsession. As our heroes are dispersed across the continent to perform tasks for Tumble, and the moon-hunt draws closer, they become increasingly suspicious of their benefactor's motives and true nature. Moonshot is a story centred around struggling with confidence, the difficulty of being an immigrant, and the duality of truth, all clad in the trappings of an urban fantasy. It is character-driven, from the heart, and based on tropes and ideas that are missing from a lot of contemporary fantasy (a push beyond the flawless-yet-somehow-still-needs-rescuing-by-an-oafish-man heroine trope, a touch of cosmic magic based on the shared geometries of Celtic and Arab art).
