I wake up with a god between my legs.

I try to get away because unsurprisingly I was still sensitive from last night, but I should've known better than to try to get away from him.

He looks up for second and sends me a serious look,"Hold. Still."

"Hades please," I beg, unsure if it's for him to stop or to continue.

It didn't matter anyway because he was going to do what he wanted anyway and right now, that was waking me up with his mouth on me. He quickly brings me off and I relax into the covers. I was exhausted but he didn't seem to care. He definitely kept his word about taking me long, hard, and rough.

"Had enough of me yet?" He questions with a laugh, coming from under the covers.

"Not even close," I say with more confidence than I felt.

"If that's the case." He says going back under.

"I was kidding!" I said quickly trying to stop him," You completely wore me out and then some."

He laughs again,"I'll let you rest for now, but now that I've had you, all I want is to keep having you."

I roll my eyes but smile at his confession. It feels good to be wanted and craved in a way I've never felt before. Even my own mom didn't want me and the friends I thought I had weren't my friends, to begin with.

This might be twisted but Hades is the first person... being...entity...to actually care for me and to tell the truth I was caring for him too. It's not so bad being a queen over an entire realm and Hades got me whatever I wanted and needed.

"What's that thought?" He asked studying me.

I sigh,"I was just thinking about what would've happened to me if I never found that alter dedicated to you or if I wasn't at the cliff."

"You would've ended up with me no matter what. It was no accident that you found it."

"What do you mean?"

"I was watching you for a while, Lela. I was drawn to your sorrow and humanity. I wanted you for myself and was going to wait to take you, what's a few years to me, but I saw you at that cliff and had to take action. I couldn't let you die."

"You saved me?" I say unbelieving.

"For completely selfish reasons." He says trying to blow it off,"I don't make it a habit of saving people."

He then gets up off the bed and begins to get dressed.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"I have a meeting with my brothers and sadly it can't be postponed."

"Can I come?"

"While I would want nothing less, my brothers would be less than happy if I brought you along and usually I don't care what they think but we have more important matters to attend to than arguing over my wife." He says with annoyance,"I won't be long."

I nod in disappointment," Okay, I'll be here."

He's gone within seconds and soon I'm left alone with my thoughts.

"Pathetic."

I snap my eyes up,"Cora?"

"You love him don't you?" She sneers.

"I-i...What are you doing here?"

"I just came to see how you were doing after my failed attempt, but as I can see you are doing just fine."

"It's different." I explain," He's not as terrible as you think."

"But didn't he take you from your home? Your life?" She yells.

I shrug,"It wasn't much of a life, to begin with. At least with Aidoneus, I don't feel like I'm hated every day of my life."

"Aidoneus? So you're calling him by his name like he's human. He's a monster."

Anger coursed through me,"I'm happy here. Isn't that what you're all about? Making sure that the women are happy and safe. Well, I'm safer here than anywhere else. I almost died with you."

She scoffs," All of you are the same. You come and fall in love and you actually think he'll care about you too. It's laughable. You're not the first pet he's taken and you won't be the last."

I clench my fist,"I would like you to leave before I call Hades back. I'm sure he'd love to know how I escaped in the first place."

She narrows her eyes,"Fine, but when you realize you've sold your soul, I'll be waiting. Just call my name."

And with that, she's gone.

Sorry for the short chapter.

Again.

I really tried to write a sex scene in the last chapter, but it didn't feel right so I'm thinking about changing the rating on this book because I wrote it with the intention of it being a very mature book, but never got around to making that happen.
