《The Underworlds Hero》Protector

I started to get towards UA's gates with Ochako in my arms sleeping soundly. Entering into the gates, there was a strange presence around as if someone died. "Don't worry Ochako. We're gonna get you something to wear, then we'll have an evening with Eri and your parents."
"I'm afraid that won't happen, Midoriya." Mr. Aizawa came from the side looking somewhat distraught.
"Why?"
"....There's been an accident involving the Urarakas and Eri."
"Are they ok?" Mr. Aizawa remained silent for it not to reassure any of us. "Did my parents get hurt in any way and is Eri ok?" The sound of Ochako's fear was known for it to get progressively worse since we weren't answered at all. "ANSWER ME PLEASE!"
"I think it's best if you two come with me." We followed our teacher into the school with an empty class having almost everyone in the League as well as the staff and the Urarakas. Bubaigawara seemed to be on his knees apologizing for some reason.
"Ok. What exactly happened? Where's Eri?"
"To make a long story short, we all were played like a cheap 5 yen kazoo." Jirou's words were somewhat confusing before I realized what she meant.
"Ochako was a diversion."
"Most likely." Nighteye pointed out. "You see, All Might knew you'd go after Uraraka as a fear that she'd suffer because of her ties with you. Meanwhile, Overhaul and his men would find an opening to take Eri and bring her back to..." He stopped midway for me to get where he was going.
"Ok. But where's Magna and why is Twice crying on the ground?"
"It's my fault *hic*. I should've done more. I'm sorry Magna. I'm so sorry."
"...He didn't."
"I'm afraid he did." Ryukyu spoke up with a bit of sadness in her voice. "It happened like this."
Since we had the time to ourselves, I decided to sit down and talk with Hikishii and Bubaigawara. "It's nice to finally get the chance to sit down and talk like civilized people." We decided to go towards a cafe that served nice tea and some sweets that I had heard Hikishii talk about and wanted to try. I was rather impressed she was quite in the know about these things as well as she was.
"From what I heard, the apple tart here is amazing."
"I may have to try that."
"You two don't mind if I smoke, do you?"
"Don't worry Jin. Just don't blow it in my direction." Bubaigawara pulled a packet out to start lighting a cigarette.
"I gotta admit. I never thought I'd be talking with the number 10 pro hero as casually as this. By the way Ryuko, your eyebrows are so on line. What's your secret?"
"I just have a student who likes makeup and practices on me. I think she practiced on dolls when she was younger."
"Nejire really does know how to get herself dolled up nicely." In the distance, we began to see Eri being walked by a woman and man that looked like Uraraka's parents. "Isn't that Eri? Hey, Eri!" She noticed us walking over and greet us.
"Hello sissy Magna, Mr. Jin, Ms. Ryukyu."
"Hello to you too. Where's your mommy and daddy sweetheart? I figured you'd be your mom's gal pal during her date with your daddy." She started to cry a bit before hugging Hikishii. None of us knew what was happening to hug her back. "What's wrong little snowflake?"

"Eri. You can't just wander off like that." The man and woman came over and apologized to us. "We're so sorry. I'm not sure why she came over here and disturbed the three of you."
"It's fine man. We actually know Eri." Bubaigawara waved it off before asking the two to sit. Since Eri wasn't so happy and Hikishii wanted to help. She placed her on her leg while the Urarakas explained to us what happened.
"So All Might went after Uraraka and now Midoriya's going to get her back." I felt rage knowing as a pro, I let this happen.
"Midoriya's gonna win and get Uraraka back." We looked at Hikishii who bought Eri an apple tart to help take her mind off the situation. "If I know one thing about Midoriya and his father, they're too stubborn to give up even when it's better to. He's gonna save Uraraka and have his shining beauty stay beside him to help raise little Snowflake here. That I know for a fact." She seemed very certain of this for Eri to hug her.
"Do you really think mommy's going to be ok?"
"I know she will. Your daddy wouldn't be your daddy if he wouldn't save her." Hikishii's words seemed to help out since Eri's demeanor was a little more at ease.
"Trust me when I say this Eri, your dad is probably the most amazing person I've met. He's made a bunch of misfits like me and Magna here feel like we belong. As far as I know, there's no way he's gonna take a loss like this laying down."
"Ain't that the truth." We heard a strange voice with Eri's demeanor going from calm to petrified. Looking back, I was soon struck by Kendo Rappa who had punched me into a building to temporarily knock me out. When I was going out of consciousness, Bubaigawara and Hikishii began moving to let the Urarakas and Eri escape while holding off the top members of the Shie Hassaikai.
"So what happened after that?"
Ryukyu held her head down in shame before answering. "When I woke up, Mr. and Mrs. Uraraka were unconscious but alive. Bubaigawara was for the most part ok, but in really bad shape, but Hikishii and Eri were...."
"*hic* It's all my fault. If I was stronger, maybe Eri would be here and Magna would be... *sniffle* I'm so sorry Eri. I'm sorry Magna! Forgive me!" Jin kept crying with the pieces starting to fit together.
'Magna. I'm sorry you had to die for Eri. I promise you I'll get her back and make Overhaul pay for taking your life.' "Jin. I know you hate yourself right now for what happened, but you need to keep moving." I knelt to the ground to give him a hand. "Magna thought you were a kindred spirit like her and she would do anything to keep you smiling. To keep us all smiling. But right now, her killer is free to run around and took Eri as a screw you to us. If you are honest with your apology to her, honor her memory by stopping Overhaul and saving the child you and her tried to protect." I could tell Jin was hurting from this, but now wasn't the time to be ashamed of ourselves. If we let Overhaul disappear now, we may never see Eri again.
"Right." He grabbed my hand to help to be brought back to his feet.
"I hate to disappoint this soap opera, but how the fuck are you gonna find and save Eri when you have no idea where he or her are?" I tried to think about this before a message began to come up on my phone along with everyone else's. On it was a link to a media site for it to show All Might on the screen behind a desk.

"All Might." I clenched my phone in anger before seeing Overhaul beside him holding Eri in his arms. "THE SON OF A BITCH HAS ERI WITH HIM!"
The screen turned to a room filled with those Nomu things from the USJ and when Endeavor and Dabi were attacked.
"Look at them all."
"I don't think they're much different than the one that attacked you and me." The screen came back to All Might who smiled like a kid who got a new toy.
All Might got up to grab Eri who looked scared out of her mind. The screen shut off for all of us to go pale hearing this.
"....I'm gonna kill him. Today is the day I kill the fucking blond monster." I started heading out of the door with Aizawa, Fatgum, Togata, Amajiki, Bakugou, Kirishima, and Inasa trying to stop me by holding me back.
"Think for a second Midoriya! This was a ploy to get you riled up!"
"Ichan! This isn't going to help anyone!" I ignored Kaachan's words and teleported behind and out of their grip.
"Izuku. Wait!" Ochako grabbed me by the waist to keep me from going anywhere. "I know you're mad. When I saw Eri being there, I wanted to go after All Might too, but what if he wants us to. Look." I glanced down at an address under my name specifically. "What if this is a plan to kill you? What if Eri isn't even there anymore?"
"Uraraka has a point." Tenko pointed this out, remaining silent through most of this. "Sending the people after us, that was more to make a message clear. Taunting Eri in front of you was more of a carrot and a stick tactic. He knows no hero or person can even hope to bring you in, so he wants you to come to him to avoid a hassle. So long as you're on the field, there's still a chance for him to lose. Now I'm with you in wanting to get Eri back, but we need to be smart and we need to be fast about it. In my mind, that's what your dad would do."
I held my head down understanding that they're right about this most likely being a trap. "I understand you wish to find Eri, but I believe she is in the Hassaikai base." Nighteye pointed this out for all of us to raise an eyebrow. "While we've been working on defeating the inner circle one after another, I began to do a little digging on the Hassaikai and what they're up to specifically."
"They're making a drug to make people quirkless, what more is there to get?"
"More than you think, Jirou. Equipment like that doesn't just come from anywhere. I've watched as materials have been shipped to several different areas of their bases that seem to be specialized in genetic cell research. Though they aren't shipped directly to the base, the cargo is transported there within a week of arrival in a different box to avoid tracking. If Eri is the key to all this, she must be in the hassaikai base."
"Ok. So what then?" Momo spoke up curiously. "Even if we somehow get Eri back, that won't change the situation we're in. We need to find a way to stop the Nomu that are about to be unleashed."
"I can help with that one." Hawks raised his hand. "You all aren't the only ones that have been snooping around into All Might's workers. Thanks to your little info, I was able to find out a little more about Garaki to find out where he's most likely making the Nomu. It'll be tough if any of those went active, but we'd be able to stop All Might's gambling card if we start a raid immediately."
I nodded my head in satisfaction. "This could work. The only problem we have now is Nine and the people of his group. For now though, the Nomu takes the top priority as well as Eri. Hawks. Nighteye. How long is it going to take to set up a team for both raids?"
"Annnnd. Done. I got a team packed and ready to go." Hawks points out while looking at his phone.
"Minutes. I've been ready for this for two weeks."
"Alright. Let's get to work."
Eri found herself back in the secluded room she thought she escaped from, holding a pair of sunglasses in her hands. 'Sissy Magna.' The small child couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the scene of one of her big sister figures being butchered the way she was to remember every detail leading up to it.
"GET ERI OUT OF HERE! WE'LL HOLD THEM OFF!" Magna shouted at the Urarakas as they brought the petrified Eri out of the area. "Alright Overhaul, You're gonna pay for what you did to Eri!" Jin began making a clone of himself for Magna to use her quirk on and send it at the villain like a speeding bullet.
"ALRIGHT! TIME TO KICK SOME ASS!" Rappa came in front to punch the clone into mud with Overhaul walking into the general direction of the Urarakas.
"Eri. You know what's going to happen if you don't come back." His glove began coming off with a deadly aura coming around him. "If you don't come back, whatever happens next will be on you."
"Eri. I promise you everything will be alright. Me and your grandmother won't let anything happen to you." Mr. Uraraka tried to comfort her with Overhaul losing his patience.
"Fine then. This is your fault for being stubborn. Keep that in mind." In what seemed like an instant, the ground altered to turn into spikes to pierce Mr. Uraraka's thigh and bring him to the ground. Mrs. Uraraka began pulling Eri up and trying to run with her before a man with no hair holding a fist of what looked like crystals smacked her away and onto the ground. She seemed unconscious with a bleeding head injury causing Eri to panic.
"Grandma!" She ran as fast as she could to her grandmother to try and activate her quirk to no avail. "Work. Work. Work. Please work." She couldn't activate it with the sound of Overhaul's footsteps directly behind her. She slowly turned around to see the man tower over her with eyes glaring at her.
"I warned you that this didn't have to happen. Now look at what happened. That man has a shattered ankle and this woman may suffer brain damage. But since I'm in a hurry, if you come with me now, I can fix them. If you run though, then they die." The offer made the small girl look at what happened and consider the reality. She was going back to Overhaul no matter how this played out.
"YOU BASTARD!" Magna came at Overhaul with a chair to shatter it on his side. "I DON'T CARE WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE, ERI IS NEVER GOING BACK WITH YOU!" She grabbed Eri to start running as fast as she could. "Eri, sweetie listen to me. I know you're scared that your grandma and grandpa are hurt. But I promise you that everything is going to be ok. That man will tell you any lies you're willing to hear just to get his way. We're going to find the police and force Overhaul to retreat. And when he does, we're going to help your grandparents to get better. You can help them, you can heal them, you just need to believe in yourself. Even if I have to fight for it, I'm not going to let that man do what he wants to."
"Tch. You filthy!"
"DOGPILE!" Several clones of Jin began tackling Overhaul to keep him down. Meanwhile, the real Jin began pulling the Urarakas out of the area. "Sorry this is rough on the two of you, but I promise I'm gonna get you outta here safe and sound."
"Er....i..."
"Don't worry about her Mrs. Uraraka. Magna's gonna make sure she's ok." Out of nowhere, one of the 8 Precepts came behind Jin to slam his skull into the ground and knock him out.
"GET OFF OF ME!" Overhaul destroyed the last of the clones holding him in place before running at Magna. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT ERI! ALL THIS TROUBLE BECAUSE OF YOU BEING CURSED! YOU UNDERSTAND!? EVERYONE AROUND YOU WILL DIE BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR SELFISHNESS!"
Overhaul's hand reached out and nearly touched Eri for her to know what was going to happen next. 'I have no choice.' In the last second, Magna tossed Eri out of the way and into a few garbage bags. "Sorry that it was a rough toss Snowflake, but I couldn't let you get hurt from this man again."
"Sissy Magna..."
'For a long time now, I fought for what I thought was right. I did what I believed was true. I may not have sided with the law every time, but today I know that this is the best I could do to save you sweetie. Shame this is where I end. I wanted to see you grow up into a lovely woman that would make all the boys fall for. Guess I'll just have to accept that as a pipe dream now. I'll be watching from the next life.' Overhaul's hand touched Magna's back for the top half of her to explode and cover the streets. Eri watched in horror with the sunglasses her older friend wore falling near her cracked and covered in blood.
"I'm done playing games Eri. You're coming with me now or else everyone else here is going to suffer the same fate." Eri nodded before grabbing the sunglasses and walking obediently with Overhaul out of the area.
'Sissy Magna. I'm sorry.' Eri held her legs close to her body while thinking of her father. 'Daddy. Please help me."
And that finishes this chapter. See what happens next time when Izuku and the League attempt to dwindle down some of All Might's final inner circle allies. Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading.
