The morning after the discovery of I Island being controlled by All Might, we began going to school like normal. When we would be heading to lunch though, I planned to confront Hagakure with this and find out what she knew. Mr. Aizawa began to walk in with everyone quieting down for him. "Ok, so I have an announcement. The UA Sports Festival is coming up in the next two weeks, so you all should prepare accordingly." Everyone was a little down with this before looking at me. "Crying about something does nothing. I'm not proud things went the way they did, but maybe the Sports Festival will help with boosting morale of people." "As Midoriya said, this is to help make people understand that UA is safe and to lighten the air a bit revolving around the incident that happened a little while ago. As for classes, all heroics classes are postponed until the end of the festival. Use that time wisely." Classes continued as normal after this with Hagakure glancing at me occasionally and stiffening up.

Before Hagakure could leave with Ashido and Tsu, I wrapped my arm around her to single her out. "Hey Hagakure, Mr. Aizawa said he wanted to see us in the teachers lounge." "O-ok. I'll see you girls later." I walked away with her before Ashido and Tsu could comment. When we were a distance away, I glared at her while whispering to her. "We need to talk." As we got near an empty corner outside, we stopped with me remaining silent while glaring daggers at her. She tried to remain calm until five minutes passed with us in silence. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" "...How long did you know about I Island?" She gave me a confused look before I punched the school to leave a dent in the cement.

"I found out last night that All Might has control of I Island, so how long did you know!?" "I swear I didn't! I didn't know he had control of I Island until you just told me!" I placed my hand on her head for a truth quirk to activate. "Did you honestly not know!?" "I didn't!" I pulled my hand off a little pissed. 'If All Might did anything to Melissa or Uncle David, I swear to god!' I take a deep breath before looking at the invisible girl. "You are going to find me any information you can on this. Big or small, I want intel on who is at I Island that works with All Might. If I find out you do know anyone that was there and didn't tell me?" I point at the spot where I made a hole in the school. "Got it!" She nods while scared out of her mind. "Good!"

I walk away in anger with Kendo finding me and picking up pieces of our conversation. "So that was your mysterious spy for All Might, huh?" I nod with her walking to the cafeteria with me. "So what kind of training will you do with the Sports Festival?" "I'm not doing the Sports Festival this year." "Wait, why?" I looked over to her before answering. "Everyone will be focusing on this event on that day, this includes the heroes. For villains, this is the best time to be bold since many will see what this years crop will show. So many will be bolder with their transactions, try doing more dangerous works, and commit larger crimes. This also means it's a big chance for me to find intel on my first big fish."

I pass a paper with a picture attached to it. "Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul. Leader of the Shie Hassaikai and a major drug distributor in the underworld." "I'm going on a secret patrol in the area his faction resides in with Dabi, Shigaraki, Compress, Magna, and Nighteye. While this goes on, Stain, Spinner, Ryukyu, and Kurogiri will search around in different locations for some of the larger game that we can take off the streets to limit certain opponents to try and force the bigger fish to show themselves more." She passed the information to me before I folded it up and put it back in my blazer. "The world doesn't have a symbol, so now is the time when villains will be coming out of the woodwork's like mad. I also have Giren keeping an eye on some of the people who do dealings with him as well." "You're sounding more like your fighting a war instead of a battle Midoriya." "To be honest, I see this more as a war than anything."

As we sat in the waiting room to be called, Todoroki came up to me seeming rather confused. "Uraraka, do you know where Midoriya is?" "Sorry, he said he needed to do something in regards to a family matter. He can't participate in the Festival." "Not saying it's a bummer that he can't do this, but it does give us a little chance against him." Kaminari stated this with Kirishima agreeing. "You got a point there, the guy's just too manly for this." Bakugou came over to me and gave a look of saying 'he's chasing a lead, isn't he' to me. I nodded with him walking away. "Everyone, we are told that we are to start heading out now." We all fall in line when Momo says this with my mind being on Midoriya. 'I hope he's ok.'

As we walked down the street, I noticed a shop playing the Sports Festival for the first years. I stopped a second while listening to Kaachan's speech. "I'm just gonna say...I'm gonna win." Everyone on the field started going into a rant with Dabi seeing this. "That kid just made your class the target of everyone, you know that right?" "Maybe, but this is kinda his way of saying that he's pushing himself." "How so?" Shigaraki came near me to see the speech as well. "The fight at the USJ, Kaachan realized how useless he really was against that son of a bitch. This is a stepping stone for him. He'll start to be the best of everyone here, then the best of the school, then he'll become the best of the pros, and he'll eventually be better than me and All Might. At least, that's what I see it as."

While walking down the street, Shigaraki looked at me for a moment. "Why didn't you want to participate? This is a big thing for you as a student of UA that you only get three times in your school years to do. I don't get it." "*sigh* If I did, I would waste my one opportunity to make a major blow to All Might when I know he'd be expecting it the least. Besides, I already have someone willing to take me for my internship." Shigaraki understood this with Dabi asking about our target. "So we're trying to get info on Overhaul?" "Yeah, we can make a major downfall to All Migh the second he's off the board. Consider him one of the eight people that give the bastard a major control of the underworld. The second he's down, major problems with the drug distribution being taken down exponentially."

As we walked past a corner, a little girl with white hair, red eyes, and a horn came out to bump into me.

"You ok kid? I didn't hurt you, did I?" I went to grab her for the girl to flinch in fear. "It's ok, I"m not gonna hurt you." I picked her up to notice she was covered in bandages and kinda slim for how old she looked. "You should be careful Eri, you don't want to cause trouble for others." A man with a plague mask came out for me to silently be happy I found the son of a bitch.

'Kai Chisaki.' "It's ok sir, a little blame is on our end as well." Dabi started to talk but seemed to be holding his fists behind him for some reason. 'I guess you see what I see too.' "So this kids name is Eri, huh?" "Yeah, I gave her a scolding a little while ago after throwing a tantrum and she kinda ran off on me. Sorry to bring you all into our family affairs." "Not your fault." I started to stand up with the kid holding onto me tightly. "Please...don't go." She seemed to be petrified and shaking violently while remaining silent. It was almost as if she wanted to scream and run, but physically couldn't or mentally knew not to.

"Excuse me sir, but how did your daughter get the injuries on her arms?" "She plays kinda rough and is kinda clumsy." "Clumsy huh, they don't seem like that of someone who's clumsy or plays rough." Shigaraki seemed to notice this as well with the guy trying to make an excuse. "She's an exceptionally clumsy girl, now might you give my daughter back to me." Dabi stood in front ready to fight. "Sorry pal, but I think this kid needs a hospital more than anything." He started to give us all death glares with Shigaraki kneeling down near us. "I'm going to ask one last time to give Eri back." "Or what Yakuza?" This was a deciding factor of Dabi's as Chisaki's gloves started to dissolve and slam his hand on the ground.

"Get back!" Shigaraki started using his quirk to decay the ground with Dabi going for hitting Overhaul with his flames. "Midoriya, get the kid out of here. We'll take care of this punk." I nodded as they covered my back to get the kid out of there.

When Midoriya left the area, Shigaraki and I began to work side by side taking down the bird man. "You fools don't know who your messing with!" He came at us again with the building this time for Shigaraki to decay that before it hit us. "Enlighten me who you are then."

I started sending flames into the alley around where he could touch and on the ground he stood. "You got a minute before those flames start doing serious harm to you. Leave or die. Your only two options." The bastard tried to touch the ground for his hands to start burning them. 'IS HE INSANE!?' The ground came at us with Shigaraki blocking it. police and pros were starting to come with us needing to leave now. "Shigaraki." "I hear them." We start running away with the guy heading back as well. 'Dammit. If Midoriya was here, we might have won and taken him down. Maybe the kid could be of use in that part.'

"AND THAT'S OUR SECOND ROUND FOLKS! THESE 16 WILL BE OUR FINALISTS WITH THE FINAL EVENT BEING A ONE ON ONE MATCH UP!" The screen showed the 16 finalists and who they were to fight.

Both Ochako and Bakugou saw this and began to sigh a little knowing they'd have to fight. 'I just hope Ichan doesn't see this fight. He may kill me if he sees it.'

After bringing Eri to a hospital, she was taken in for severe injuries on her arms with malnutrition to make me worry a little for the kid. When Shigaraki and Dabi came to the hospital, I found out by them that Chisaki escaped due to pros and cops coming. Right now, the only lead that we have is this little girl who seems to be alone and scared of even her own shadow. Problem was, we didn't have somewhere to put her. "I'll take the kid in myself. I already asked Nighteye for adoption papers and he'll be here any minute." "Sorry I'm late." As if on cue, him and his group came in to greet us. I motioned them towards where Eri's room is for them to look in on her.

"She's so small." "She's adorable. I just want to see her in adorable clothes instead of those awful hospital drabs." Compress started to think of a few magic tricks to preform for her with Magna fangirling about how adorable she'd look in frills. "So you found her along with Chisaki. How did the interaction go?" I shook my head. "It could've gone better. He got away because of us making too much commotion and getting unwanted attention brought to the area." "*sigh* Alright, here's the adoption papers. From what I was able to pull, she's able to be adopted under villain laws regarding the fact that if there is no family member that is able to support a child found to be abused by a villain with her being able to be taken in by a foster family." "Thank you." I spent the next three hours doing paperwork while Magna used a card I gave her to get the necessities for her. I also informed Mr. Yaoyorozu about what had happened where he was able to give me a small bed in my room for her. Now all that's left is to explain to Eri the situation when she wakes up.

Master and I had gone on patrol in Hosu hoping to find a ring leader or someone with connections to a ring leader in All Might's empire. What we found however, was an unsettling sight. We came upon All Might stepping on the Turbo hero Ingenium. From what it looked, his legs were bashed in and turned all the way around with his arms stabbed through to keep him from going anywhere. This scene made our blood boil with master going in first. "Give our location to Ryukyu and tell her to send backup immediately!" I nodded while grabbing my phone. Master began to take All Mights attention off Ingenium and on him during this.

"So this is as far as you'll go? Hurting heroes who want to do good just because!" The oaf started to laugh with master becoming enraged. "NEVER INSULT THAT MAN IN FRONT OF ME AGAIN! HE WAS A FAR BETTER MAN THAN BOTH OF US!" He sent multiple knives at the blond villain with him dodging each. When he charged, Master used his katana and his knuckle bracers to try and get his blood for this to fail and have him knocked in the chest back into a wall. As this went on, I was able to free Ingenium with the sound of police on their way.

"Your move villain, fight or flight?" His grin turned to a scowl. He jumped away with me grabbing master to climb out of the area before the police saw us. A stretcher came to bring Ingenium away with both me and master feeling guilty for him. "This won't end well." "No it will not Spinner *cough* *cough*." "Are you alright?" "I will be. I just need to see someone because of that punch. I think he punctured a lung from it." I start to carry him to an underground doctor where master gets treatment for his injuries. When I get the time, I immediately remember Midoriya say that he had a classmate who was Ingenium's younger brother. 'This can't end here. That kid may do something stupid.'

The final round was over with Bakugou defeating Todoroki who didn't use his fire half at all during the tournament. The blond looked at his competitor and lugged him on his shoulder to Recovery Girl. While this happened, Todoroki started to regain his consciousness to see this. "You awake?" The bicolored teen nodded. "This win doesn't count. You didn't fight me at your best, so I can't accept this as a win until both of us use our full strength against each other." Todoroki held his head down at this. "I refuse to use my left-" "DO YOU THINK A VILLAIN LIKE ALL MIGHT IS GONNA CARE ABOUT YOUR PRINCIPALS!?" The outburst gave a shock with Bakugou gripping Todoroki's arm. "That monster will kill you or torture you just because. He doesn't need a reason. Holding back on him is a death sentence. We've both seen what the best going against him with everything did."

Todoroki began to remember Midoriya's agonizing shout as his father left the world failing to stop a monster that threatens it. "...I promise I'll get stronger and use my full strength against you next time." "You better. I can't call myself the best if I can't beat you at your best." "...I thought Midoriya was the best?" "He's in a league of his own, so he doesn't count." "Sounds more like you making an excuse." "Shut it Icyhot before I drop you."
